I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Another great book from one of my favorite authors. Highly recommend to friends and family.

Sadly this was not for me. It sounded interesting when i read the blurb, but it ended up being boring and meh-ish. The characters just weren`t interesting enough to hold my attention. Sadly.

Thanks to NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book!

I wasn’t a fan of this book. The beginning had me hooked but then with the introduction of other characters, third POV, and alternating POVs, I just got a little bored. It wasn’t that interesting to me. Although written well, there was character development and good development in the relationship between the characters, but there just wasn’t the pizazz I would normally feel when reading novels such as this one. It’s ok, I guess for readers who like writing styles like this but for me, I didn’t find it that interesting.

I received this ARC via Netgalley and The Wild Rose Press, Inc, in return for an honest review. Enjoy this time-travelling romance and action story when a modern American professional football quarterback suddenly finds himself in 13th Century Scotland so he can help the fair maiden rescue her mother and defeat her evil stepbrother. Lady Ana believes he’ll be able to do it on his own because he’s the reincarnation of the great warrior, Culchulainn.
This is a classic hero out of his own time love story, and Ms. Binder does a good job of telling it. She does strong world building and creates likable good guy characters and bad guys that you want to get their comeuppance. There are battles and the heroine is stronger than she believes she can be. Mac, the hero, appreciates her strengths, her abilities and her beauty, plus wanting to defeat the creepy bad guy. It’s a satisfying story and a romance you should enjoy.

A fun and exciting read with a cast of interesting characters. At times, a bit predictable with the evil and power-hungry step family member. However, the writing is good and the characters engaging enough to make up for this.
On the whole, a great read.

A medieval fiction story like you have never read before. The premise seems all too familiar - an Evil would be leader usurps power while the King is off doing glory. This Evil - Roderick - has kidnapped Ana's mother and demands a rare sword as the price of her freedom. Ana needs a champion to beat him in a tournament and conjures one. Here we get the turn and twist - no historic Irish champion, how about the QB of a Super Bowl-winning team from the 21st century?

The originality of the premise sold me on reading and reviewing this book and I wasn't disappointed! The journey of Mac from QB to warrior in the 13th century is compelling. The battle scenes are brilliantly written. The romance in the book keeps the reader excited.

Brilliantly written, flows perfectly. I had difficulty putting the book down. You just have to know what happens next. Magic, mayhem, treachery, and trust. This book has it all. If you want to read a rip-roaring adventure set in the 13th century, this book is for you. I recommend it to every fan of Braveheart or Robin Hood. A fantastic read and one that is hard to stop reading until it is over.
