Accidentally in Love is such a fun and interesting romantic comedy. I love Katherine. She’s so determined and driven once she makes a decision. As Katherine starts over, both in her professional and personal life, she learns so much about herself. She realizes what is important to her, what she is worth, and who is really important to her.

One of my favorite aspects of the story is the wonderful cast of characters. Katherine’s family and Kit are wonderfully developed and interesting. I love Katherine’s relationship with her brother and their unwavering support of each other. Katherine’s relationship with her dad and step-mom is also lovely. They are good people and a loving and fun family, and I enjoyed reading about all of their shenanigans!

I also liked the enemies-to-lovers romance between Katherine and Kit. From the start, you can tell they have a lot of chemistry. They remind me a bit of Darcy and Elizabeth when they first meet in Pride and Prejudice. They are both so prideful and have preconceived ideas about each other, which results in some interesting and fiery conversations. I loved watching Katherine and Kit grow closer and bond over their shared love of art.

The story also delves into some deeper issues like inequities in the workplace, growing and changing relationships, and break-ups, all of which are handled with honesty and realism. Who hasn’t dealt with a bridezilla friend or a break-up? The messages and characters throughout the story are very relatable.

Accidentally in Love is a great romantic comedy that will appeal to readers who like contemporary romances with well-developed characters, witty banter, and HEAs.

Accidentally in love by Belinda Missen is my first book by this author, and what a find !
Accidentally in love is such a sweet, lovely rom -com. But it is more than romance.
It is a book about friendship, art, woman rights at work place, family and of course love.
Not that sexual lust, but sweet know first one another love. It is very sweet read.
What is about? Spoiler alert!
Katharine Patterson has quit her job because she was overlook by one another meil coligue. And she decids to move back home and open her own Art gallery.
She ends up, breaking up with her off/on boyfriend, because she wants much more that he is capable to give her.

Then she meets Kit, a handsome and talented local artist. He might be the most stubborn person Katharine has ever met. He might also make her feel like no one ever has before.

Kit is handsome and very gifted artist. And Kat wants his pictures for her gallery. She doesn't accept no as an answer.
We find out that Kit is a widower, and scared of love and falling in love, again.
But that he sees Kat, and all is history.

Kat's family is so loving and supporting, about everything she does. Just lovely.

This was enjoyable read. Over 4 stars.

I liked this book. It wasn't my favourite book ever or anything but it was cute and I enjoyed it.
Kit and Kate were both great characters and I felt the connection between them. Plus I love a good "enemies" to lovers!

A lot of art talk that went over my head but other than that a great read.

When Katherine finds her London life turned upside down, she moves back to Sheffield to invest everything she has in herself. As she tirelessly toils to fulfill her dream of owning an art gallery, a chance meeting (fix up) with cantankerous Kit, broody local artist, spurs her competitive fire to succeed and makes her realize that when she thought she had it all in her London life, it wasn't even close to what she has now. Filled with witty humor, well-crafted dialogue, and tender emotional moments, Accidentally in Love is the perfect bookish escape.

This book had more depth than I anticipated. Katharine's character saw a lot of growth, and Christoper did too for that matter. The end wrapped up pretty quickly thought and felt a bit rushed. I would have liked to see an epilogue maybe a few months or a year later that discussed how their relationship had progressed.

Belinda Missen possesses a certain wit that makes you want to laugh with the character, live the character. I loved the romance between two unlikely people and the independence of Katherine.

4.25 stars

Accidentally In Love was such a refreshing, sweet rom-com, I thoroughly enjoyed it! We follow Kate, who has been down-trodden in her life as a curator at a London gallery, as she is consistently being passed up for promotions who are instead given to less-qualified male applicants, and is also frustrated with her personal relationships being stuck in a rut. Frustrated, she quits her job, and decides to move back home to Sheffield, to open a gallery of her own. There, her father tries to make a match between her and an acclaimed local artist, Kit, however they instantly rub each other the wrong way (mostly because they are both far too stubborn an similar).

I really, thoroughly enjoyed this. Banter on point - and the relationship seemed very natural and sweet, but the book didn't just focus on that aspect. I feel like a lot of rom-coms fall into the trap of focusing on nothing but the relationship between the two, and neglect all other aspects - this did not do that !

I absolutely loved Kate's family dynamic as well! This book has so many touching moments that I absolutely adored.

The character growth of both Kate and Kit in this is absolutely phenomenal, and really well-executed as well! I was in the mood for a great pick-me-up read and this really hit the spot.

My only niggle is that towards the end, things escalated very quickly! I would have loved to see that development over more pages!

I don't know what to say other than if you like well-written LOL books with feisty female leads then this is for you. This is my first read by this author but not my last.
Meet Katherine. No! Don't. Read the book but, as a hint, the lady in question is a strong woman who learns very quickly that the bowl of cherries promised comes with men-shaped boulders that smash her heart along with her hopes and dreams. John is a... No... Read the book. While Kit is worse but he soon learns that speaking without engaging his brain first is a fatal flaw.
Missen is skilled in stripping back emotions, layer by layer, until the nucleus of the problem is reached then breached. A highly satisfactory 5 star read.
