Tiffany Reisz will make you sweat with joy reading that book. If you like romance, it is there. If you are into lust and steamy reading, there is also plenty of that in her books and generally in most if her books anyway. This book was not as good as The Red, but it was enjoyable enough to be recommended and loved.
Warning : sizzling hot!!!

Not quite my cup of tea
As much as I was initially drawn into this book and I enjoyed the female dominance I’m afraid I lost interest quite early on. I struggled with the mystical aspects as that really isn’t my thing.
Rating is simply a matter of taste and this book want for me

I know this series is a bit different, kinda off the wall, but it's a nice escape and great change of pace. I really loved book one, The Red, but the second one wasn't as good as that one. This book though, it's good but still not "The Red" good. I really do recommend you give this a chance. It's just really nice sometimes to find something that is out of the box and a nice escape. Tiffany does a really good job with her books. They are always a great escape, and worth the time you spend reading them.

I read about this one on Instagram, and you can say that my hopes were pretty high.
But this was just a good read for me. I didn't enjoyed it very much. Just 3 stars.

This is readable but mediocre. The writing isn’t great and the plot is quite predictable as there is no hint of mystery as to their feelings. Interesting angle that the woman is the dominant older party here. Weird that he’s only 21. They have quite interesting inventive sex and that’s about it. Through in some weird paranormal activity and you have this mishmash of a book. This is really a 2.5 but I‘ll round up to 3 as it’s not as bad as a 2.

The Pearl is the third book in the Godwick series. These can technically be read as stand alone books, but why would you deprive yourself of these seriously hot and sexy books?
This is the story of Lord Arthur Godwick and Lady Regan Ferry. She has something that belongs to his family and he's willing to pay any price to recover it, even his body. Ten days to do anything to him she wants in exchange for the family heirloom. But be careful, this isn't the sorry of priceless antique that collects dust, there are powers in play here beyond the normal bedroom antics. Arthur and Regan are in fates hands now.

i didn't know this was the third book in a series, so i didn't read the previous two before jumping into this one, but i don't think it took anything from the experience. i wasn't familiar with the characters, but i still enjoyed reading about them, getting to know them and was entertained by their interactions.

This was saucy, naughty, delicious and dirty. With a cheeky mistress and some fun banter, some playfulness, and a bit of the paranormal that's been a theme with this series.

Arthur is younger than Regan Ferry, the owner of the pearl. She's thirty and he's twenty one. But she was stuck in a bad marriage for years and is just now living so I feel like they are not that far apart. I like how he breaks down her walls, and the fun evenings they spend together. And I like any mention of the man who started it all, Malcolm, who's been gone a long time.

I feel you could read this on it's own and be fine. But I will say these are my favorite books by this author.

Thank Goodness for the Godwicks

When I got an email that I had received an arc of The Pearl I have to tell you that I felt like I had just received an early Christmas gift. This series is one of those guilty pleasures that I truly look forward to. This is book three book one is The Red and book two is The Rose and while you do not have to read the two books to understand The Pearl, I highly recommend reading the first two books as well they are flawless. Now before I begin if erotica as a genre is not your speed then I would skip this one all together but if this is your jam like it is mine you are in for a fun ride. Recently widowed and the new owner of The Pearl, Lady Reagan Ferry is upholding the mystique and debauchery of the hotel. When a client runs up a sizable bill, Reagan’s solution is to fetch Lord Arthur Godwick to reconcile his brother’s debt and exact revenge on his family. Arthur is forced to be Lady Reagans sexual servant in order to wipe the slate clean for his brother. While Lady Reagan has no problem taking what she wants and taking pleasure from Arthur. He on the other hand has always felt shame for his desires. What I love with all the books in this series is how Ms. Reisz amazingly weaves poetry and knowledge of history, art, and mythology beautifully with her erotica that it paints a beautiful picture the whole way through.

I will not give too much of the story away just because I think it is beautiful to read something like this blind with no opinions formed but I will say that the sensual and sexual scenes are hot yet tasteful if you like the genre. This one is full of lust, revenge, twists and turns that make your heart stop. It is also a world of submission and domination that keeps you completely riveted until the end. I thought it was so well done that I recommended it to two people who take part in the life style just to get their opinion I cannot wait to see what they think. I have only read this series specifically by this author but after reading this book I will be going through more of the things she has written just to hold me over until the next one is written if there is another which I really hope there is. This book will be making it into my favorite reads of 2020. If you are in the mood for something well written and different you will not be disappointed with this one. GO READ IT! Thank you to NetGalley and everyone involved in the process of me receiving an arc of this book. Also thank you to the author for writing a series that has without a doubt become one of my favorites

"The Pearl" is super sharp, dark, and deliciously sexy with a well-built plot. Arthur and Regan's incredible journey is full of twists and turns that will keep you intrigued!! The whole book was intense with raw emotions, powerful drama, and suspense.

DISCLAIMER #1: This book contains explicit scenes of a sexual nature and therefore is unsuitable for anyone under the age of 18.

I have mixed feelings about this story. While it is the third in the series, you do not have to read them in order. And maybe my issue with this book is that I HAVE read them in order. Please don't get me wrong, this was another beautifully written story from Ms.Reisz, but for some reason, I just didn't get as pulled into this one as I have with the others in this series. With The Red there was an element of role-play within the paintings. With The Rose that role-play was shifted to Greek mythology. And that WORKED. As odd as it sounds, the reader was able to lose themselves in those stories.

With The Pearl? It just seemed like that element was missing. Sure there were references here and there to famous paintings, but on the whole it felt more like an Original Sinners novel instead of another installment of the Godwicks. And while this is in NO WAY a BAD THING as her Original Sinners series is my number one favorite series, it just wasn't what I wanted when I wanted to read about Lord Arthur Godwick. I expected more of the same blurred lines between fantasy and reality. Although this book is about a male coming to terms with his own submissive desires, so that on its own will appeal to a group of readers.

As always with her stories - these characters were flawed and heart-breakingly human. I started off not liking Regan AT ALL, but the more I read? The more I was able to relate to her on different levels. She had a reason for why she acted as she did. And I also enjoyed watching Arthur as he came into his own person as well. The fact that the growth happened while they were together? Only deepened my enjoyment of their story.

The ending left me feeling a bit ..... well I don't exactly know as I did NOT expect what happened. Obviously, I will read more from this author, I'm just curious if Arthur is the last Godwick we will read about or if there will be more down the line.

DISCLAIMER #2: I received a complimentary copy of this novel from Amazon First Reads. This has not affected my review in any way. All thoughts and opinions expressed in this review are 100% my own.

When I first discovered Tiffany Reisz was writing another book in The Godwicks series – I screamed in elation over the prospect of what juicy tidbits would lie between the covers of this new release. The Godwick family never disappoints, and The Pearl was no exception!!

Taking care of family business doesn’t always work out the way you expect. For Lord Arthur Godwick, cleaning up after his brother’s mistakes this time will come with more consequences than imagined. The family’s prized possession – a famous painting that hold more history that can be imagined it now in the hands of a hotel owner. Lady Regan Ferry owns The Pearl and has no intentions of letting the Godwick’s family painting go for any amount of money.

After a bit of bartering, Lord Arthur made a deal that no one would expect. An agreement to spend ten night in total debauchery to pay off his brother’s debt. No exceptions would be accepted. Now that Regan has shared with Arthur that she is a widow who was lost in her marriage for a long time, the temptation of what these next ten days might hold was exciting. Regan holds her own reasons for wanting to posses the painting, and it fuels her just as deeply as Arthur. When the dice is rolled who will come out on the winning end of the arrangement??

The Pearl is a fascinating glimpse into the life of Lord Arthur Godwick and his family legacy. Godwick’s mother and sister held their own place in the two previous books of the series, and this family member will not be outdone. While The Pearl is written after The Rose and The Red, you do not have to read those books to understand the happenings in the series.

Just like The Rose and The Red, I found myself submerged into this world of art, history, and mystical eroticism. Simply put……I loved everything that The Pearl held in store for me as a reader!! Revenge is a dish best served cold, but in this case it was steaming up the sheets!! Discover the secrets that lie in wake at The Pearl, and enjoy some lessons of the sexual persuasion while visiting this establishment. I know I am going back for a repeat!!

This is the 3rd book in the series but it can be read as a stand-alone. In order to pay off his brother’s debt at The Pearl Hotel, Arthur agrees work it off in owner Regan’s bed. However, there is more than meets the eye to their agreement. Fast-paced read with loads of twists and turns, drama and steam. Great characters with lots of depth and a sizzling story. I loved it.

Lord Arthur is annoyed to find that his younger brother Charlie has gotten in debt of 100 grand at The Pearl. A hotel that caters to the aristocratic and has a brothel inside they can use, however Charlie hasn't paid his bills.
Reagan is a widow who has inherited the hotel and is calling in the debt owed to her. She loves art and has asked for a painting in exchange for wiping the debt, Charlie has given a painting that wasn't his to give.
Arthur steps in and asks for her to return the painting and he'll give her whatever she wants. What Reagan desires and wants is 10 nights with Arthur, he accepts and that's when things steam up.

I've read a few other books written by this author and have enjoyed the writing style, that hasn't changed this time around. However I personally have finished this book with mixed feelings and I can't pinpoint why no matter how hard I've tried.
The relationship started as a debt being paid and turned into more in a believable way, the confusion of what they might feel made you want to read more. Though I have to admit at one point I'd lost interest about three quarters of the way through.

A mixed 3 stars but I will be reading Arthurs siblings books.

No one writes erotica as well as Tiffany Reisz. The Pearl is another great example of how to write and erotic tale with a beautiful storyline.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this book.

The Pearl is the third installment in Reisz's Godwicks series. This book focuses on Lord Arthur Godwick and the sexy encounters he has as he's forced to clean up yet another mess created by his younger brother Charlie.

The Godwick family is quite the group. They live life on the deviant side ... except for Arthur. His behavior pales in comparison to that of his relatives, at least on the outside. Once you get inside his head and see the desires and fantasies swirling around well, let’s just say you definitely know he’s a Godwick.

The first meeting between Regan and Arthur doesn't go well. Despite this, sparks fly everywhere and not only was I hooked on the two almost immediately, but I couldn't wait to see what happened when they came together again. Needless to say, I wasn’t disappointed. There’s so much chemistry between these two characters. They’re opposite in many respects but they fit together and bring out sides of one another that have been hidden for some time. I enjoyed both of them as characters. Regan has a tough exterior and comes off as being a bit cold. There’s a reason for this though, which readers discover as the story unfolds. I enjoyed her domineering nature and the way she was able to just know what Arthur’s desires were. And it was fun to see her walls start to crumble the more time she spent with him. Arthur is amazing. He’s this sweet, sexy, and kind man. He’s spent his life keeping his desires hidden and it was fun to see him flourish.

This is a fascinating story. The plot is unique, and the pages are littered with some of the sexiest scenes I’ve read. Reisz is one of the best at crafting erotica and The Pearl is no different. Things are hot but the sex is done in a classy way, which is a hallmark of her writing. This book focuses on Arthur and Regan but there's change and profess for the Godwick family in general throughout the story, and I enjoyed seeing how the relationship between Arthur and Charlie changed as well.

I enjoyed the twist at the end of the book as well. I thought it was the perfect way to wrap things up.

Five stars to this novel!

This was my first book by Tiffany Reisz and she certainly did not disappoint. She is known to be in the top of her league in this genre and that is evident in "The Pearl". It's definitely more erotic and kinky than I'm used to, but with that said, the writing and story-telling is mind-blowing and you it is hard to put the book down.

Lord Arthur Godwick agrees to to pay back his brother's debt to Regan Ferry, an alpha widow who brings Arthur down a twisted path of erotica, mystery, and revenge. At first I didn't feel any connection (I love good angst) between Arthur and Regan, but it was felt a bit further on. The haunting of Lord Malcolm was a little confusing for me because I had not read the first two books in The Godwicks series. I intend to read the first two and hopefully reread The Pearl so that I can get the full effect of this exciting rollercoaster ride.

4.5 stars

This book was a fun and super sexy edition to the Godwicks series.

The mysterious paintings are always causing trouble and mischief for this family. I’m not knowledgeable in the arts so I had to Google all of them, which was half the fun with reading this series.

The Pearl was most definitely just as hot as the first two. So you will get ZERO complaints from me. I’m always a fan of Tiffany’s books cuz she finds the perfect balance between the sexy and sweet. This was no exception. I felt a bit emotional at times as well. Regan’s story rugged at my heart a bit. She just wanted love but she didn’t really know it. Watching her slowly fall was the reason I kept flipping the pages.

I enjoyed all the characters, even the troublemakers. I’m rather intrigued with this crazy family and I really hope we get at least one more book about them. On a side note, a book, or novella, about Zoot would definitely be appreciated.

The Pearl is yet another work of art from Tiffany Reisz. I absolutely adore this story of Lord Author and Lady Regan. It is a beautifully crafted tale centered on a dispute between the two. In an effort to settle ill feelings, they agree to enter into a unique arrangement. How they choose to settle the score provides the finest erotica and romance. The story is the most elegant and rich context that I’ve read. An absolute must read! This can be read as a standalone. But, you will enjoy the story more thoroughly in having read the previous books.
