This was compelling and adorable right from the start. I love Haley and Lauren and cheered for them to get together all the way through.

I was struggling with this one.
It isn't the best written, and I just couldn't connect with characters.

Just one star from me.

DNF. The writing is just not professional quality. I couldn’t get into it.

Thank you NetGalley, author, and publisher for the ARC. It just was not for me.

you give me anything with lesbians and its automatically a five star lol but in all honesty i love this book so much and it got me out of a reading slump which i really appreciate. the twe main characters hayley and lauren are so lovable and during the climax its easy to understand both of their point of views where lauren fel betrayed and hayley just wanted to help the woman she loves and omg the white squirrel symbolism was so sweet i love it

The story is very cute! I liked Hayley a lot, being different with her hair and choice of music - I particularly liked her choice of music! The buildup was great, but in my opinion, the end was sort of rushed and abrupt. I expected more. This way, it seemed like the denouement was written on 2 pages, along with "I love yous"...

This story has had a sad undercurrent from beginning to end. And it's not that it was especially dramatic, but the two leads have given me that vibe.

Hayley with her blue hair and a somewhat reckless mood, it seems that just for having left her small town to go to the city and the rest that may happen to her, she does not care much. And the other female lead, Lauren, has a character so diametrically opposed to Hayley. Lauren is all organization when Hayley is all chaos. And their history, despite being somewhat simplistic, is still interesting. Although the end has been a bit hasty, without clarifying how their situation is after all the events that happen near the end.

In short, this has been a smooth romance, with two protagonists trying to overcome past situations and that despite being so different, they manage to help each other to get out of the stuck in which their lives are.
