An interesting fantasy story with good writing and quirky characters. Great for young readers who enjoy fantasy. A good read.

This is the story of how Grant Beagan's life changed when it was discovered that he has the potential for magic.

The authors were able to create a very magical and complex world of the Lit. In here, a person is tested for what branch of magic his/her potential leans to. It's like you were born with a preference on a certain field of magic and majority of the time, it will be the basis on how your educational path will be planned. I'm not explaining it well, lol.

Anyway, world building is amazing. I love the different concepts and creatures presented in the book. I also love the characters. The story was very engaging and it was action packed. From start up to 90%-ish of the book, I thought it was a 5 star read for me. But then things kinda stagnated on the latter part for me.

The build up on the earlier parts of the book made me expect a bit for the grand finale and it kinda fell flat for me. Also, one of my ridiculous prediction came true.😅

But all in all, it was a very magical read. Good for fans of middle grade fantasy.👍❤
