I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide a review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.

Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.

However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x

I loved this book. The characters felt real, and their emotions were felt thru the pages. Sophie was kind and hardworking. She was trying to keep her family legacy going. Holden was working toward the dream he had kept alive from childhood. I loved Honey Creek. That little town felt like my own little town. One where you can’t keep anything secret. This book was a great start. I can’t wait to see what comes next.

Hello

Apologies for the late notice, but I have decided not to review this title.

While I am certain it's obvious by now, I wanted to also clear this off NetGalley, so it's not showing as open for either of us.

I look forward to continuing to work with you in 2023 and beyond.

Blown away again by another new series by Adriana Locke! The emotions were high and so real; I will admit I teared up on more than one occassion!

Sophie is from Honey Creek, born and raised with her sister, Luv, and her brother, Jobe. She inherited the bed and breakfast in town and has been struggling to make it something, like when her Grandma was around.

Holden used to visit Honey Creek during the summers when he was a kid. Now, on the rebound from the ending of a job and previous life, he is back to help his Pap run the vet clinic in town. At least until he hears from his dream job.

When Holden finds out that his life is now missing an essential piece that the new company he wants to work for his looking for, he comes up with a plan that could help him and Sophie both get what they want. But can they do it without emotions running too high? Or will that change the trajectory of the end goal?

I loves the characters in this story, the town, and everything! Like You Love Me is an amazing read!

Sweet and heartfelt, Like You Love Me feels as though you have been wrapped up in a big hug that you never want to end. Holden and Sophie’s love story is swoony, genuine and not to be missed!

I'll admittedly read anything that Adriana writes, but this is easily some of her best work. The swoooony small town feels, friends to fake lovers / marriage of convenience romance that'll leave you smiling, swooning, and wishing for more all at the same time. sophie and holdens romance is one you can't miss!

The story of Sophie and Holden.

Sophie is where she wants to be, running the B&B in her home town. Only problem is that she owes money or she might lose her business and home.

Holden is in town to help out his grandfather, after he lost his job and became newly single.

They are old friends and what starts as a marriage of convenience soon turns to more, but what will happen when it is time for Holden to leave town to follow his dreams?

Hope this is a series and the Liv gets a book next!

Welcome to Honey Creek! What an amazing start to a new series! I have been so excited to read this one! Adriana Locke is on my 1-click author list for many reasons, but first and foremost how her stories are always centered around family. Don’t get me wrong there are so many more amazing things about this story but to me the relationships the characters have with there families make them who they are.

Sophie and Holden spent their summers growing up with each other they were best friends. Flash forward to now, Holden comes to town to help out his grandad and the sparks fly.

Pick up this book, get sucked into the Honey Creek world of characters, it seems like such a fun place. I didn’t want to leave. Adriana has written a beautiful love story that you are going to love! I know that I did!

Good start to a new series. Story was good, a little predictable, but still good. I enjoy small town, friends to lovers tropes and I enjoyed Holden and Sophie's story. Not My favorite Adriana Locke book, but definitely worth the read.

Sophie and Holden are the best!!!

Like You Love Me by Adriana Locke was a wonderfully, sweet and sexy story. Holden and Sophie are two of the best characters she’s ever written, in my opinion. Maybe, because they felt so real. Just like everyday folks. Adriana says herself, that this book has elements of her and her husband, and it’s that which makes the story all the more believable… and, well, like I said- real.
This isn’t a book filled with angst and drama, just plain old boy meets girl love and happiness. Holden will make you swoon in the end. He’s the best kind of guy. Just ask Sophie.
And Sophie? She’s a tough little cookie. She’s had a lot to deal with before Holden strolls back into her life and makes the sun shine again.
I loved this book. It’s like a soft blanket and a mug of hot chocolate on a chilly, snow-filled day. Wrap yourself in it and feel the warmth sink into your bones.

I really enjoyed this small town romance. It was a good mix of the Second Chance. Friends of Lovers, and Marriage of Convenience tropes.

Sophie is stubborn and quirky and I really liked her character. She has made mistakes and owns them, but is desperate not to loose the Bed & Breakfast that she inherited from her grandmother. Holden has come back to town for a brief visit while he awaits his chance at this dream job. It turns out they each need help to get what they want and make a deal that ends in "I Dos'. But the feelings that resurface between them and grow are much too real.

Sophie and Holden are a good match, I liked the spark between them and was cheering them on for their HEA. I'm looking forward to reading more of the Honey Creek series in the future.

I love me a sweet, small town romance. This story gave me Doc Hollywood vibes...a movie from long ago (80's maybe 90's lol) when Michael J Fox stumbles into a small town and becomes the vet to help fix his car...so cute. Wholesome, pure romance. Friends as kids, loved each other through it all without even knowing it. Adriana Locke captures the small town feel, friends to lovers trope perfectly and with a connection to both the heroine and hero that keeps you cheering them on from the sidelines. Cute, easy read. xo

Absolutely adorable! I fell so in love with this story and this town. I love small town romances and this is definitely one that stands out. It made me swoon. It made me smile. It made me fall in love with these characters and I am so looking forward to more from this series. This was a great start and I can't wait for more. Adriana is definitely a one-click author for me, no matter the genre and this story was no different. It was fun and emotional and highly entertaining. I could not put it down. I am excited to see what Adriana has in store for us next!
