I had watched an expose on plastic not too long ago and I was horrified, wondering how I could use less plastic in my life and then I saw this book for review (thank you NetGalley). After reading #LivingWithoutPlastic #NetGalley, I've learned of the different kinds of plastic and I really liked its encouraging message 'Start Now! Don't despair - there's hope' on how to make changes immediately. Using waterbottles and reusable bags have thankfully been in play for some time, buying on consignment is also an easy thing to do, (I hadn't known that dishwashing plastics can cause BPA to leach out) -- this book is simply designed with great photos and amazing suggestions on how to live (at least in my case) with less plastic.
