Wes promised his best friend one thing before he died… that he would always look after his little sister, Annie. Years later that task is becoming more difficult with Annie’s quirky personality and constant revolving door of jobs. But Wes wouldn’t have it any other way.. except wanting to not fantasize about her. She is off limits. Especially if she knew the truth about that night.

Annie hates Wes’ over protective behavior,so when she sneaks out to a club one night when she is supposed to be helping him, she falls in love with the DJing world. But too afraid Wes might think this is just another passing job, she keeps it a secret. Except Wes has a secret too.. corporate suit by day.. DJ by night. But when Annie finds out what Wes has been doing, they start to spend more time together in order to create the perfect beat.

I absolutely loved Annie and Wes. Annie was quirky, spontaneous, and eccentric with all her hobbies. Her scrapbooking pages of Wes had me cracking up at times! Wes was an overbearing suited up type, but once we got a look past that hard shell I absolutely melted. I am a sucker for books about music and Kelly knocked this one out of the park! I also totally felt their forbidden chemistry and I was all here for it! This is another Siskind you will want to add to your shelf!!

Honestly had a hard time with this one. Brothers best friend is my favorite trope ever, and even that couldn’t do it.
I felt like the story was a bit slow paced and kind of boring.
I didn’t love the characters and felt zero connection with them. I usually like characters to feel like my friends, and this h/H were just not my vibe.

Thanks to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for the arc. All opinions are my own.

Once again I was unaware that this was a sequel. This time it's book 3. I don't have the time to pick up two other books to get to this one and I am the type of person who must read them in order. This looks like it could be a fun time, but until I feel like reading the first two books I won't be getting to this anytime soon. Will update review if I do get to it in the future.

A slow-burn romance with tragic events, family issues, and music that provides healing and brings two lovers together. Both characters were going through a lot and understood each other. I adore the friends to lovers and brother's best friends tropes and this was a good one.

The Beat Match is super cute with a sigh/swoon-worthy HEA. This was my first book by the author and I am so excited to read more of her books!

This was a really boring one, i did not care about the story and the characters were boring and just plain, not interesting.

Found it hard to get into this. Were I not reminded over and over that the heroine was 27, I would've kept on thinking she's in her late teens or at best, 20, for the kind of immaturity she displays throughout - which then made her unsympathetic, and I could not get behind this couple as a result.

this book honestly had potential, but i feel like i was just disconnected from this story. like, half of this book didn't make that much sense, so it kind of just fell a little short for me. i mean, the romance was pretty cute, so that was good, but i'd probably never read anything else in this future though. but, it was still a solid book, even if i didn't really enjoy it.

Kelly Siskind has done it again! This is book 3 in the showman series, and I absolutely loved it
It was a sweet friends to lovers, brothers best friend, with a little bit of family drama, business espionage, secret identities, and tragedy all wrapped up in a lovely slow burn romance.

Siskind creates stories full of chemistry, hilarious banter, characters to root for, backstories that break your heart and love stories that make you swoon.

As a huge music fan I really enjoyed seeing these two overcome their tragic histories and discover the healing power of music together

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

I enjoyed this book, although I'm not sure how the club DJ business really works, so I had no frame of reference for that. Plot-wise, it was a bit of a remix of other romances, but the author put her own spin on things (OK, I'll stop with the corny DJ jokes). Speaking of jokes, some of the book's jokes were actually funny, unlike most stories advertised as "rom-coms". All in all, a quick, fun read.

Thanks to the publishers and NetGalley for the opportunity to review a digital ARC in exchange for an unbiased review.

This is Annie and Weston’s story. Annie’s brother, Leo, was Wes’s best friend. When Leo was killed, he told Wes to take care of Annie, so he’s spent the last decade watching over her. Annie is flighty, but she’s decided she wants to be a DJ. She wants to learn from her favorite DJ is Falcon, who just happens to be Wes. Can Annie get want she wants - DJ lessons and Wes to see her as more than Leo’s little sister?

I definitely like this more the first twin Showmen books because it felt more realistic than the others. I like Annie and Wes’s love story, and I thought it was just the right amount quirky. Check it out!

I made the mistake of requesting this text without reading the other ones first. It was super good but some of the things made me feel like I was missing something. I loved this cute little friends to lovers romance was perfect for me in February. I definitely want to check out the other two books and complete this series. I loved how sassy and real this romance felt throughout it definitely kept me going. I found myself smiling on multiple occasions as I was reading because their romance was honestly just to die for.

I received a copy of the book from Netgalley to review. Thank you for the opportunity.
A funny yet sweet romance that is perfect for those looking for a welcome distraction from the stresses of modern life. Be warned it is very cheesy but if that's your vibe then enjoy.
A good read.

Loved this story!!
The chemistry between the two characters was great.
There were some scenes that were hella cheesy and the epilogue felt a bit odd for me which is why I knocked off a star.

this was cute and i enjoyed siskind's writing like i always do, but something was missing for me that meant it didn't hit the spot like the first 2 in this series. it was still good and i'll still read the next one, just didn't adore this one. loved seeing clementine again though

I actually did not get to read and review this in time before publication so I ended up purchasing this book when it came out due to me taking a hiatus. Thank you Netgalley and publishers for the chance to read and review this. I am trying to get back to being active again. 2020 was just a rough year.

Wes and Annie's relationship is not great in any aspect. He treats her like a child, even though she's 27. There's a caretaker/ward element that's kind of gross. The beginning is cute but once they hook up I wanted the dynamic to change in a very different way than it did, and it was just... not for me.

I was looking foreword to read this book because i've heard so many great things about the other books by the author and i must admit that it really deserves all the hype. I do admit that i'm not a big fan of cartoonish covers and i went in blind and a bit sceptic of the story but i was engrossed in it in seconds.
It's beautifully written, smart, witty and reliable characters that are just starting they journey of life and the decisions they have to take for their future are not the easies ones but i love how the author managed to project all the insecurities and fears of each one of them and how i got to get more close to their love story with each beat of the music played in the background.
It is my first book by the author but won't be my last and i highly recommend it to all the romance lovers.

I was given this ARC for my honest review.

It was a hard sell to finish honestly, it jumped around a little too much for me. It also pounded in the same points over and over again, to the point you are just frustrated and upset with the characters. I have really enjoyed this authors other books, but this story just didn't work for me.
