She takes her family from their home with her captive but don't give a reason. Her family don't know understand why they are running but does everything she tells them to do. The story goes back and forth. You finally figure out why she is running. I didn't care for the language and the brutality.

What happens when your violent past catches up to you and your new family? Brooke Holland has a secret past, but she has moved on to a new life with a husband two daughters. When she finds a man in her barn, she realizes that her past has come to find her and it is seeking revenge. AND the story takes place in a dystopian future. This was a good one. Definitely recommended.

Thanks Netgalley for allowing me to read this book. Brooke and her family live in a quiet town when they hear about a fugitive on the loose that Brook knows well. This book was very good and keptyou guessing. . Cant wait for her next book.
