Would You Rather by Lindsey Daly is a book version of the popular game. There are 8 chapters (of supposedly increasing complexity, though that is entirely subjective) with 20 questions in each. Some of the question sets belonged on 'Fear Factor' with two absolutely disgusting choices like licking a toilet in a public restroom or a handrail at a Disney park, some were mundane choices like living in a forest house or beach house, some were too close to being the same to make much difference like losing sense of smell or sense of taste and some, for me, sadly both already applied 🤣🤦‍♀️like always have loud ringing in the ears or an ever present itching that. This is certainly a great family game or classroom game.

"Would You Rather" by Lindsey Daly is a children's book version of the game. There are 160 questions in this book that are spread out over 8 levels (20 questions per level). The idea being that as you progress through the levels the "would you rather" questions become more complex. It is a fun take on the game.

I would like to thank NetGalley for providing me with the copy of this ebook.

Would You Rather? Made You Think! Edition by Lindsey Daly is such a fun book! My sister and I had fun taking turns asking each other these questions. This is such a good book for people cooped up inside the house during the pandemic.

This was a fun book. My daughter is autistic, has adhd and anxiety. One of the things the techs for her ABA work on are conversation starters and this is a good book to get some ideas of things to talk about. It could also be a good ice breaker for when kids are meeting someone or classmates for the first time. The silly questions are the best and get the kids laughing.

This book is great fun, some really get you thinking (& over analysing!). I posted some of the questions on social media and the replies were really interesting. Great fun to play with the children too.

A great new addition to the world of “Would you rather?”, Daly’s MADE YOU THINK! edition is family friendly and a lot of fun. With the upcoming holidays and there ever present need to distract from toxic current event topics, this book makes a wonderful survival tool for family functions.

A handbook you need to bring once you're allowed to sleepover to your friend's house. Or even a game on zoom to play with friends.

This book contains of choices you should think about and make, will help you know each other better, or simply play a game that doesn't involve any internet!

I can see this being a hit with kids at Christmas when you are looking for extra things to do in the run up and the build up to the big day is approaching.

I am not sure who many times it would be used after that but if it breaks up the days and is fun for a few hours that would be great for me!

The questions are silly but funny and some make you go yuk, so they will be crowd pleasers for that. It is 3.5 stars from me for this one, rounded up to 4 stars for Amazon and Goodreads - I think the age range it is targeted at will love it!

This is a great book for classroom discussions or family fun. We had a great time participating as a family. Gave a good opportunity to teach the importance of allowing others to have different opinions than yours.

Would You Rather is a unique game packed full of fun, witty and sometimes difficult questions to answer.

This is a unique book that I would have totally loved as a kid. I can see kids and adults alike enjoying it, but I truly wish I had this back in the day. This book is fun and makes the 'Would You Rather?' game into a competition. What a great and unique idea!

Three out of five stars.

I love how this book will lend to so many teaching units or can simply be used as great quick writes for warm ups. I’m going to use it for both warm up writing, as well as making it part of my argumentative writing unit.

Hahaha! I absolutely loved this! The book is set out in a very simple and clear way. The whole book is a game, but you can also feel free to just choose at random for a bit of fun! I started by trying these questions on some older pupils (14/15) and we had a great laugh! I cannot wait to take it home and try it with my 7 year old. This would be brilliant for rainy days, road trips or lockdown! It would make a great gift for any child aged 6-12. The rules were set out clearly, the format was straightforward and the questions are hilarious! This will be what every child in my kids' class gets for their birthday this year!

Rating: 4⭐⭐⭐⭐!!!!!!!!!

I love a good would you rather! As a teacher it makes for a good, engaging activity. With Covid and virtual teaching, this book has helped me have morning meeting discussions. My own kids and my husband have also enjoyed me asking them a new one daily. I definitely suggest this book for any age. It really does make you think and choose between things that you wouldn’t normally think of.

What a fun book to enjoy with my students! These questions are perfect for ice breakers and when you just a few moments before moving on to our next task. The students have been my questions so much that they have begun to come up with some of their own!

Thank you to NetGalley and Zeitgeist for the opportunity to read and review this book!

Would You Rather? Made You Think! Edition was made for a fun family night game. Very simple rules so everyone can play and has a fair chance and fun questions caused quite a few laughs at a family dinner recently. We had 3 children, 4, 13 and 14 and 4 adults ranging from 35 to 65. We laughed, had interesting discussions and enjoyed our family dinner night with no electronics! Perfect for families, classroom games and an ice breaker for meetings. Granted the 4 year olds answers wee probably sillier than most but she loved being included. Grab a copy before the holidays and have some family fun!

Thank you for the opportunity to review Would You Rather? Made You Think! Edition by Lindsey Daly. An electronic ARC was provided in exchange for an honest review. All views are my own, and they will be posted on Netgalley, Instagram, and Goodreads.

Initial Thoughts: I requested this book because it sounded like a fun premise. Would you rathers? are a fun game for all ages. The cover is pretty cool. The "Made You Think" edition must be a new type, so I assume there are others out there if this is a series. I'm interested in seeing what the author has come up with for questions, as well as the way the game is played in this book.

The book is set up with an introduction that sets out the rules of the game. It is played in 8 levels with 20 questions in each level. As the levels increase, the complexity increases. Players rotate responsibility of being judge and reading questions aloud. Players answer and give explanations in turns. The judge of the round picks the best answer, which is a subjective reasoning (can be the smartest, funniest, most creative etc). Initially, this sort of reminds me of Apples to Apples or Cards Against Humanity.

The Would You Rathers? range from questions that are both win-wins, lose-lose, gross, fun, embarrassing, etc. There are some clever ones, some funny ones. They are all relatively clean and family-friendly. It is appropriate for all ages, but I think past 13 might think it's lame. I don't, I think it's kinda fun!

A very quick and simple book that would be something cute to do on a long ride or during quarantine. Would be a one time thing probably. Not something I would probably spend money on, but if one could find it at a good price or ebook version, then it would be fine for a group activity.

Great questions to make kids think! I used many with my own daughters but are also incorporating them into my 6th grade science class to help build relationships!
