A straightforward, no nonsense book about giving houseplants the best possible life. A very good book for someone like me, a person without a green thumb, who loves plants and likes to keep them alive! I don’t know how the plants were selected, but I found that the few herbs were out of place in this book.

There is a good selection of typical houseplants, with excellent photos, and great tips about where to place them, how to water them, and anything else they might need. A fantastic feature is that there’s a section of most common problems, like bugs and leaves changing color, and how to fix these problems. I’m sure that with the help of this book my plants will have a better time during the coming winter. I tend to have a hard time keeping all of them alive until the sun is out again in the spring. Let’s hope that with the help of this book I’ll keep them alive!

I received a free copy through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

A thorough guide on houseplants. Photos on each pay of each plant, with info about the plant, care guides, potting tips, varieties of each plant, and guidelines for purchasing. It also gives you common problems or concerns and ways to address them. I wish I would have had this book many years ago, as it makes growing houseplants fun and much easier. A definitive guide to refer to over and over again.
