You just aren't going wrong with a book by Melanie Munton--ever. The perfect blend of sexy, funny, and downright swoony goodness, The Six Month Lease is the kind of book you devour. Loved it!

Two people fell in love and moved in... but what do you do when you break up soon as you sign the lease.
Harper and West fell in love (lust) and they decided to move in together except their love didn't last long as their lease. Now they have to live together for next 6 months as roommates. Now they just have to last as long as their lease before they kill each other.
This book was funnier than I expected. Harper and West constantly banter and annoyed each other and it was great. And finally they find each other and understand each other. It was feel good romance.
I would recommend it. This could be standalone ( I didn't know this was part of a series and I only read this one.)
Thanks to Netgalley and publisher for ARC.

This was a cute, funny book. I really enjoyed reading it. I would definitely recommend this book! If you want a light read, this is it!

I received a copy of the book from Netgalley to review. Thank you for the opportunity.
A fluffy, sweet romance that has plenty of cheese and the vibe of a halark movie. Perfect for those looking for a romantic escape from reality. A good read.

After reading 'The Divorce Attorney' and meeting the girls from this series, I was really curious about Harper's story. Harper and West had a sweet, pretty low key but hot meet cute. While the story started out after their break up, we are navigating their roommate status relationship. As we learn why they broke up, you can tell they still have so much love and lust between them. Harper has a friend who has always been toxic to her and people around her but she doesn't see it. She makes excuses and is very loyal to this selfish friend. But, while Harper is thinking one way and is uber stubborn but doesn't see how much West loves her.
I really enjoyed West. He was great. He is so in love with his girl. I am looking forward to the next book with these gals.

A great read for escapism, fun, flirty and hilarious, this is just a fabulous read to make you smile and I devoured it in one sitting, addictive and full of fun.
Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for a free copy for an honest opinion

When I read The Divorce Attorney a few months ago, I raved about reading this new-to-me author's work and how much I enjoyed her writing and the emotions she evoked in me. I also mentioned that I would have liked to have read Carter's POV in The Divorce Attorney. Let me say, that I want to take that back, because I absolutely adored reading this second standalone book in the Southern Hearts Club Series, and I definitely didn't need West's POV to know exactly what he was feeling, thinking and experiencing in this book! If possible, I enjoyed this book even more than the first book. The concept of 4 best friends being there for each other and having each other's backs no matter what is so refreshing. I love these girls and want to be part of their club if they'll have me! I loved Harper and West together, but I also loved them individually--what wonderfully developed characters. This may have been a sexy, sweet rom-com, but it had all the emotional feels as well, with some thought-provoking moments that brought tears to my eyes. All in all, this was a perfect 5+ star read that I couldn't put down. I can't wait for Gretchen's story! I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC for NetGalley.

Hilarious! Great characters and a plot just skating along the edge of too ridiculous to be possible. This book is one which you can easily sit down and lose yourself in in a single sitting. Escapism at its best, this is a great blend of humour and romance.

Funny, sexy, sweet, and charming. The characters are great. I loved West from the beginning. Harper took a bit to grow on me. There were times I wanted to shake her. By the end I adored her. The chemistry is off the charts. The antics are hilarious. The journey to HEA isn't easy but what a ride. The catch up with Sloane and Carter was a great bonus. I can't wait for Gretchen's book.

Boy and girl meet, have wild sex, then move in together. Now they hate each other, but are stuck with a 6 month lease. Cute at times, and funny at times, but too be honest, for a 50 year old much of this seemed silly. If I was in my 20s I probably would have liked this much more. Would recommend if you are younger.

I received this ARC from the publisher and Netgalley for my honest review. The story was about Harper and West moving in together after dating three weeks. The problem was that they just broken up and cannot break the new lease. Somehow they were stuck as roommates after a breakup. The two had amazing chemistry and you cannot help but cheer them on to get back together. They were some really steamy scenes! Her loyal besties were amazing, loyal and hilarious. I really liked West and he proved to be a good guy. There were times I wanted to talk some sense into Harper but she grew as a character towards the end. Overall, it was a cute book!

Harper is friendly , sassy and supportive as a friend and partner, she’s a beauty and has a heart of gold.
These two have electric chemistry, it sparks off every page, it keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Her nemesis is her mum , you’ll find out why , she’s evil .
Her 3 friends are her saving grace and her fallback when everything hits the fan .
Great story and addictive characters.
Almost as good as book 1, but very enjoyable non the less .
I received an Arc copy of this book and chose to post this review

A funny story I thought with moments that made you think as well. Harper meets West at a Saturday morning market while he is trying to decide what last-minute necklace to buy his sister for her birthday which just so happens is this day. After his trying to say he forgot her birthday but could answer the sport trivia questions thrown at him by Harper his memory is not that bad. Here she helps him with a necklace and they start to date. Three weeks later they decide to move in together and then right before they move in, they get into a fight, which really is a disagreement that could have been settled right their but is not. Not being able to get out of the lease they still must live together because her whole idea was to get away from her mother.
Here is a story with each one doing practical jokes to each other, her friends helping to see that she can have more in life than what her mother keeps pushing her for. You also get to see her character grow throughout the story. She does take some steps backward at times but she learns and moves onward. She is able to see what everyone her friends and West see in her by the time you get towards the end and you are leading towards what you hope for is a happy ending, what happens is up to you if you chose to read this very funny and good book.

Freaking hilarious! The insta attraction, the pranks, the sexual tension, the drama made this book a great read! I didn't want to put it down... And the ending left me wanting more of this series ..

Thank you #Netgalley for the advanced copy!
Harper is at her local community market where she quickly becomes enticed with Wes a man she met at a booth. The connection was instant and with a few weeks they signed a six month lease to live together. Unfortunately things did not go as planned and they broke up, but decided to live together as roommates and to not give others the satisfaction of saying I told you so.
While living together, pranks and flirting and sexual tension arose.....what will happen between Harper and West was it a mistake or fate?

Something about this book had me not wanting to put it down after I picked it up. Melanie Munton is a new author to me. I loved the concert of this book. Harper and West had a whirled romance and then a just as quick break up. Too bad they singed a lease for a place together. Now, since they cant afford to get out of the lease, they are stuck together for at least 6 months. As the book plays out. we find out why they break up and the truth about their feelings for each other.
I loved Harper and West. Maybe West a little more. He was a stand up guy. Harper needed more of a backbone with just about everyone in her life.
Over all, I really liked this one. So much so, I went and bought book one in this series to catch up!

This book has a really fresh premise that I totally loved. After a whirlwind two weeks of romance, West and Harper sign a six month lease on a rental house and then break up. Forced to live out the lease with their ex brings lots of sexual tension, pranks, and heat!
This book had great fighting and banter between these two and their chemistry was OFF THE CHARTS HOT. The steamy scenes are extra steamy.
I had a few issues with the book, the first and really major one was the repeated use of the term "Pale Face" to describe a character. The publishers and author really should have done a minute or two of research to recognize that this term is extremely offensive. It is a term created by WHITE people in Hollywood to ascribe to Native Americans being bloodthirsty and violent towards white Americans. It was started in an effort to make the movie audience feel like Native Americans were racist towards white people and plotting to destroy them out of hatred. It's just insanely not okay to use this term any form.
Besides that awful oversight, this story had a few issues. The leading lady suffers from TSTL Syndrome (Too Stupid To Live). You repeatedly shake your head and wonder how an adult female is this blind and idiotic. She is still fairly liable, but it's really annoying.
Overall, a good premise, some good banter, but not a great book.
I received and free ARC of this title from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.
