** I was provided an E-ARC of this book from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for my honest review**

This was a middle of the road book for me. I did still enjoy it, but it just didn't blow me away. I just wasn't as connected to the characters as I wanted to be. That being said, I still enjoyed it. It was a cute, quick, and easy read.

Scandal was addicting! It was so easy to fall into this forced proximity/celebrity romance. Nina and Julian both had their struggles but were very relatable and very fun to read. I loved the fast pace and the steam and how thir story really came full circle.

This book worked for me. I loved the romance, the whole VIP suite mishap and forced proximity. i was engaged throughout the whole book.

I will be doing a Harlequin Romance episode on January and will feature this title.

Nina Taylor ventures to Miami to celebrate her mother's death. She arrives at the Sand Castle only to learn that the two bedroom suite that should have been hers has been given to actor, Julian Knight. Because of a mix-up, she gets a chance to peek into the suite and encounters the actor. Once they realize that the hotel is booked, Julian offers for her to stay in the guest room. She accepts his offer and soon they share a scorching kiss.

From the moment they met, the electricity between them could not be denied. This is my first time reading this author. She brings a vivid description of Miami and Florida life. I enjoyed the storyline and thought the attraction between Nina and Julian sizzled. I finished this read really quickly and would recommend it to others. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Thank you, #Netgalley and #Harlequin

Being drawn into the synopsis, beautiful cover, and hope for finding a new author to continually read, I had high hopes for "Scandal in the VIP suite." I was looking for a budding romance with some steam, the start of a new series, but that is not what this reader got. I decided not to finish about half way through and had no motivation to pick it back up once cast aside.

I did like Nina and her story of traveling and staying in a hotel her mother always wanted to stay at. A way of honoring her mother and her memory.

I did not like the hero, Julian Knight. He was not a likable character that combined with some rough scene transitions, I gave up. I had to a couple of times flip back and see if I missed something because a scene would end abruptly and I got confused as to what happened. With so many other books to read, I moved on. Thank you to Harlequin for letting me try a new author.

There's something about seeing the Harlequin logo that has me one-clicking, ready to indulge in a great romance. And this author definitely brought me that. This story really got to me. This was hot!
