60-Second Brain Teasers Crime Puzzles is a fun book. I have a couple people in mind that just may end up getting this book as a little Christmas gift! The puzzles were prefect to get you thinking, but not so hard that you get frustrated and want to walk away from the book.

Really cool little puzzle book. I teach a forensic psychology course and so i like the thought of giving these puzzles as warm ups to a class as a way in to talking about crime. The puzzles may not be real, but it will get them thinking!

Some of them are easier than others, so it may not be a total challenge, but enough to keep you interested. I hope more in the series appear!

Thank you for allowing me to obtain a proof copy.

This was lots of fun. We played some of these as a family and I was able to do a few in my breaks.
They were not to challenging but also not ridiculously easy.

I enjoyed this. Looking forward to seeing this on our bookshelves.

Really fun book! I enjoyed doing the riddles, and it really makes me think about something. I also enjoy true crime, so this was the perfect book for me.

I really enjoyed this book. It’s the type of book you can dip in to and read a few pages and then come back later and read some more. Alternatively you can read lots in the one sitting. I am always trying to work out mysteries and enjoy the feeling of being right. This book gives you a scene and then asks you a question at the end. All the information is in the page you have just read, you just need to work it out. Definitely recommend! Thank you #netgalley.

These puzzles were quick, fun, not too challenging or too simple. I love anything I can quickly grab when I’m waiting around or when my students are finished early.

I hope there are more books in this series soon.

This is a fun little book, perfect for puzzle lovers. A crime has been committed, from the description you must deduce what has occurred.

A few of these I got, a few others I never would have but learnt something along the way.

This would be perfect for a gift for the puzzle lover in your life or to spend a bit of time puzzling over yourself.

Very fun and interesting puzzle book! I’m a big fan of crime TV shows and thought I’d easily go through this book but to be honest, I couldn’t figure out more than half the puzzles without a little help! Really enjoyed trying to figure them all out.

This book is a nice amusement for this time when we are all rather cooped up. I will say that it would work better in standard book form rather than ebook form so that you can easily page back and forth. I am actually considering gifting some copies for Christmas.

This book is filled with brain teasers that claims to be "60-seconds" but you'll definitely need more than just 60 seconds to figure out the puzzles. Each puzzle is short to read yet long in the sense that it will take you some time to guess or figure out the answer. I had to "cheat" and read the first two answers to the brain teaser. The brain teasers can be a bit tough if you don't know enough about crime related information such as when DNA became more widely used in crime solving. This book is great for anyone who love puzzles, brain teasers, and with the added bonus of it being crime themed. Everyone can put on their detective hat and solve the crime. I would recommend this to everyone.

This book is very interensting and addictive. Short, very short cases. If you are a true CSI, Bones Etc fan, you must only need to read twice the case to find the clue.

I really enjoy it,

60-Second Brain Teasers Crime Puzzles is a fun little brain teaser book for the crime fan. There are 65 quick crime puzzles for the reader to solve relying on one's wit. The book is truly fun. Some puzzles are a bit more tough than others. If you're looking for a neat stocking stuffer or a book of quick crime puzzles, this is a great one to check out.

This is a fun brain-teaser style book, featuring 65 crime based puzzles. I liked the fact that all of the puzzles could be solved mentally, so you're not relying on pen and paper as you would with many other puzzle books. This would be perfect as a coffee table type book or for a game night with family/friends. Just be aware that some of the puzzles require a basic knowledge of forensics and crime investigation, rather than just straight logic.

These crime puzzles are billed as needing only one’s keen sense of logic, one’s wits, and close attention to detail. Definitely, using just these skills will reveal how much tuning up is needed by the brain. The 65 puzzles presented will provide lots of opportunities for testing the reader’s deductive reasoning skills. This would make an excellent activity for individuals or groups as well as an excellent gift for those who enjoy puzzles or problem-solving.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book provided by the publisher and Net Galley. However, the thoughts expressed are totally my own.

I think this is an interesting concept, but too many of the puzzles require that you have a little more knowledge of forensic science than I envisioned. I read through about half of them but was not successful in solving many. This is a great book for someone who has more interest in the topic.

This is a fun Crime Puzzle and brain-teaser type book for those who want to be crime scene investigators or just like solving puzzles. There are 65 crime stories with questions to answer. You will get a chance to listen to testimonials of experts and evaluate gory details in order to help solve the crime. Some are very easy and others need more speculation in order to figure out what happened. All in all, I found the book interesting. I think the physical book would be easier than the ebook version in order to get to the back of the book where the answers are. I would like to thank NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group - Fair Winds for a free copy for an honest review.

60-Second Brain Teasers Crime Puzzles is a quick-solve book of crime puzzles. In the past I have picked up similar puzzle books only to be sucked in for hours, frustrated, or both! I was pleasantly surprised that these puzzles were actually quick, fun, and allowed me to put on my Sherlock Holmes hat.

The book offers 65 separate puzzles that ask you to use your forensic and deduction skills to solve the case. I loved that no pen or pencil is required and that everything can be worked out via "mental math."

I think this book would be better experienced in hard copy as it was difficult to read and interact with digitally. I would recommend as a coffee table book, a go-to for a group game night, or a stocking-stuffer for a budding detective.

I think the digital copy of this book is not the best way to experience this book and get the the full experience of trying to solve the brain teasers inside, however i did have a lot of fun trying to solve all the questions. The reason that I say that the digital copy does not give you the best experience of this book is that I feel like being able to open the pages and look at each of the brain teasers would add to the experience of feeling like you are solving the crimes. Some of the brain teasers felt like they included too much reading as so much extra information was added in each of the questions. This meant that when some of the answers were found to be a lot simpler than you may think, for example in the first question where the answer was DNA evidence, it felt like a bit of a let down as the answer is so obvious.
This being said however it was good to keep nearby and look at at times with nothing to do and i can see this book making a perfect present for a younger person interested in crime investigation.

A fun book full of interesting and thought-provoking puzzles. I had a good time reading these to my co-workers to see if we could figure them out. Each puzzle is mainly just a few short paragraphs so it's easy to pick up and test yourself when you have a few minutes free. I think that anyone who enjoys thrillers and detective type of fiction would enjoy reading and attempting to solve these puzzles.
