Thank you netgalley for an early copy of this. I love Susan Mallerys work, and this was no different. I loved every single page of this story!

A pleasant book about neighbors falling in love . Their older children bring them together. There is initial tension between a father and his married, pregnant daughter who is waiting for her husband to return home from his military deployment. The next door neighbor was never married but has a teenage son. The small town where this novel takes place is a mecca for weddings . Female relationships are explored .

A nice holiday book that doesn't concentrate on the holiday as much as the story that just happens to happen towards the end of the year. Children see things differently than adults and it may effect things in a way you don't expect.

I always enjoy a visit to Happily Inc and was excited to see this was a Christmas instalment! Wynn and Garrick's story is very sweet, not as romantic as some of the previous couples, but I liked that this felt very grounded in real life with two single parents dealing with day-too-day life. I could have used more of Wynn spending time with her great group of lady friends but all in all this was an enjoyable read that got me in the holiday spirit.

What a lovely story. You have two families struggling with life and learning from past mistakes. Garrik and Wynn are neighbors and one day Garrik asked Wynn for some help. From there the story unfolds of their love story. I enjoyed all.the characters in this book. It was beautifully written and full of so much love. To live in a small town such as this one and all the good they do just gives you good feelings.

I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. I did not like this one. There were so many bizarre side stories from Garrick's previous jobs and the stepmom that went out of her way to be mean. I have loved all the Happily Inc books, but this one I found to be annoying and I just wanted to hurry up and finish.

I know that it is almost Halloween, but who doesn't love a Christmas book anytime of the year? Happily This Christmas is the 6h book in the series but works well as a stand alone. Out of the six books, this one is probably my favorite. I have been looking forward to Wynn's story from the beginning. She is a single mom who has never seemed to want a permanent relationship and has been very protective of her son. Garrick is the cop who lives next door and recruits Wynn to help him get his home ready for his pregnant daughter's visit.

I loved this friends to lovers story. Wynn and Garrick made wonderful friends. They had great banter and it just came so easy for them. I just really enjoyed watching these two fall in love with each other. Both had baggage from previous relationships and were wary to get serious. I was ready to shake Garrick and his clueless self toward to end. There HEA was very sweet.

The rest of the characters added a lot of flavor to the story,. It was nice to catch up with the couples from the previous books. Garrick's daughter was very annoying for a large part of the book, but I ended up loving her growth in the end. I was rooting for she and her father to make amends and heal their relationship. My favorite was the relationship between Wynn and her son. I loved the the way they interacted. It's been fun watching him grow up over the series. I highly recommend this one. I look forward to the next book in the series.

My first Christmas book of the year and what a wonderful way to start of the winter season. Wynn and Garrick are absolutely adorable in their courtship. Garrick and Wynn are next door neighbors in Happily Inc. What starts off as a simple request turns into a blossoming romance.

Its was nice to read a book that didn't have to rely on "random" occurring events that push a couple together. The pace of events in the book follows an everyday pace. The events are all things that naturally happen during the process of getting to know one another. This way readers are likely to develop a better understanding of the characters and fall for them, flaws and all. I absolutely loved the dialog. A bit of sass and some heartfelt communication. This book also shared the struggles of being a single parent and how the struggle to make sure you are able to provide and take care of your child is a constant battle no matter how old they are. Loved the book and would recommend it as a nice bonus to your holiday reading list.

I love Susan Mallery's books and I loved being back to Happily.
It's a festive, uplifting and heartwarming story that kept me hooked and made me turn pages as fast as I can.
The characters are almost all likeable and well thought. I rooted for Garrick and Wynn but Joylyn grated on my nerves as she is a spoiled child not acting like a 21 yr old.
It's an enjoyable and engaging read that I recommend.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine

Wynn Beauchene is a single mother to her fourteen-year-old son, and successful business woman. Her next door neighbor, Garrick McCabe, is a local cop and single father to his pregnant twenty-one-year-old daughter, Joylyn. When Garrick hears that Joylyn plans to visit, he recruits Wynn to help him make his home feel welcoming. Garrick’s relationship with his daughter has been strained over the past several years, and he is hoping that the holidays will bring them closer together. As Garrick continues to turn to Wynn for help with his daughter, these two also begin to grow close.

I had not read the other novels in the Happily Inc. series prior to reading “Happily This Christmas”, so while I was not familiar with the supporting characters, this book works just fine on its own. The novel has all the elements of a perfect holiday read, from the small town setting, the festive celebrations, and the family drama. The book is a heart-warming Christmas read that is perfect to curl up with this holiday season.

Thank you to NetGalley and HQN books for a copy of this novel in exchange for my honest review.

It is getting to that time of year when I am all about the Christmas books. I was excited when I found out Susan Mallery would be releasing one in her Happily Inc. series.

Wynn and Garrick are next door neighbors and he asks for her help when his pregnant daughter comes to live with him. Their relationship blossoms as they grow closer the more time they spend together. The development of their relationship and that of their families was well paced and engaging. As this is a holiday read I thought it was nice that there was such a family focus in addition to the romance. If you have read the other books in the series you will also love the appearances from familiar characters.

I love Susan Mallery's books and this sweet romance is another great read.

An enjoyable holiday romance between a single mom and her neighbour about family, second chances and taking a risk. Sixth title in a series.

This was a really cute book to get me into the season. Susan Mallery really knows how to write contemporary romance. While it is part of a series, I felt it was great as a standalone as well.

Wynn and Garrick have lived next door for the past year, and while Wynn has been admiring the view while Garrick is mowing the lawn shirtless, they really haven't talked much other than the casual hello. However, when Garrick needs help decorating his home to make it more comfortable for his pregnant estranged daughter who is going to be living with him, he goes to Wynn.

His daughter is not happy to be staying with him and the attitude is fierce. It brings lots of tension, some hard conversations, and she softens up in the end. This was just such a feel good story, with lots of struggles and strengths to overcome obstacles. The romance is on the lighter side, but in line with the feel good holiday romance.

Happily this Christmas by Susan Mallory is exactly what readers need to get them in the festive holiday mood. The novel takes readers back to the Mallory world of Happily Inc. The heroine and hero—Wynn and Garrick are next door neighbors with a strong attraction. As they embark on a new relationship, they must deal with family issues from the past. Readers will love the character growth in this novel. Far from being a light, holiday read—this novel gives readers depth along with the magic and romance.

I read this book for NetGalley but would have read it anyway as I have read all of Susan Mallery's books. I have so wished that there was a town like Happily Inc. that I could move to. One with a town, mountains, lakes and just good people around. This continues the story of Wynn in Happily and her son and what is next for them in their lives. We watched her in a relationship with Jasper but that never reached full fruition and he went off to marry another one of her friends. Glad that she was glad for them both and felt that they were a better mix.
We know that Garrett (Local Police Chief) moved in next door to her but with her work schedule and his except for a wave now and then and a window watching on Wynn's part as he mowed his yard shirtless there has never been any interest between the neighbors.
Then comes the motto to be kind to your neighbor as Garrett asks Wynn for a favor. Wynn is a sweetheart and agrees and we spend the rest of the book learning if this was a colossal mistake or if it was a meant to be.
Pick this book up, it will make you smile, bring on a happy family feeling and give anyone out there hope for the holidays. Have a wonderful Holiday season and may 2021 truly be a better year for us all.

Normally, I don't start a book at the end of the series. and when I started reading, I didn't realize that this was book six. Luckily, I didn't have a problem joining the series at this point. It can definitely, be read as a stand-alone.

There are so many aspects that worked for me. One, the believable premise of the hero and heroine meeting and moving their relationship forward. They are neighbors, and the hero reaches out to the heroine for help.

Two, the book had excellent relationship building and exploration. There is a conflict between the heroine and her son that is handled perfectly. This example made the book for me. It is one of those warm-hearted, moments full of wisdom and love. One of the weaker relationships - between the hero and his daughter lack a bit of realism. The author used the big misunderstanding, which in my opinion is always weak. Still, in the end, I applauded their newfound detente.

Three, the book showcased community spirit, and giving wishes is perfect for a Christmas theme book.

Thank you to the publisher, and Netgalley for this free galley for an honest review

Let me start by saying this was my first book by Susan Mallery, and I didn’t realize it was part of a series. That said, I didn’t have any trouble diving into the story and following along. This fluffy winter romance is exactly what we need in the world right now!

Happily This Christmas, the sixth installment in the Happily Inc series, follows Garrick and Wynn. Garrick is a police officer in the small town, and his estranged 21 year old daughter Joylyn is coming to stay with him until her husband comes back from his deployment. Did I mention she’s 8 months pregnant? Wynn is Garrick’s next door neighbor, a single mom of a 14 year old boy and successful business owner. When Garrick asks for Wynn’s help with preparing his home for Joylyn and connecting with her, they bond over parenthood and love begins to blossom between them.

I don’t think I’d normally pick this up. I generally prefer my Hallmark-esque media in made for tv movie form, but I did find the writing to be good, and the story was entertaining. This was my first time visiting the town of Happily Inc, and while I don’t know if I’ll be returning, it was a sweet and enjoyable Christmassy read!

Wynn is a single mother, a business owner and can not stop watching her sexy neighbor Garrick through her kitchen window. Her son is fourteen, so maybe it is time Wynn starts looking for a relationship. When her doorbell rings, and she sees Garrick standing there, will she have the nerve to ask him out?

Garrick, a seasoned policed officer is in a panic. His grown daughter, eight months pregnant is coming to stay with him. He has no clue what she will need, but he knows someone who will. What will happen when he asks his beautiful neighbor Wynn for some help?

Garrick and Wynn soon become friends and amidst a very cranky pregnant daughter, a teenage son, an impromptu wedding and prenatal classes, they start wondering if maybe this Christmas it is time for more than one miracle.

I loved this story from Susan Mallery. The characters are real, they have issues and the plot makes you feel right at home along with the people in Happily Inc. I appreciated that everyone was not perfect, and their struggles with past and present issues were a part of the story. This is the sixth novel in the series and although it could be read as a stand a lone novel, I would recommend reading the series in order as past characters are part of the story. Thank you so much to the author, Susan Mallery, Harlequin Publishing and NetGalley for an advanced copy of the book to review. It was fabulous! All opinions expressed for this review are unbiased and entirely my own.
