I couldn't get into this novel and ended up not finishing it. I couldn't connect with the characters and for that reason got bored.

I picked this one up because it looked really good but I didn't realize this wasn't the first in a series so unfortunately, I have not read this and can't properly review this. :( I gave this a middle of the road rating for reviews sake.
