I read A Visit from the Goon Squad about 6 years ago and really enjoyed it. Seeing this, I thought it would be an interesting read to look back and reflect on the themes and ideas of the novel from this amount of time removed. It was very well-written and cohesive, but definitely know that this is an academic text, kind of like reading someone's dissertation. I honestly skimmed a bit but overall thought it was very good.
