This was a sweet and cute comic and relatable for those who have grown up with a sister close to their age. I loved the illustrations and the humor. I just wish there was more cohesion between the different comics. But I still very much enjoyed reading this arc.

This book is brilliant! It made me laugh out loud at the sheer humor that can be found on every page. It is absolutely relatable since I have found myself in similar situations with my sisters. I recommend this book to anyone who has sisters and wants a laugh that you can share!

I love this comic series so much. Every page is very relatable and funny. The art is pretty as well.

I liked the Halloween-related parts a lot. They were most of my favourite comic strips. I also really liked the older W&M comic strips.

We also see the parent's faces for the first time ever! I kinda enjoyed having them appear without their faces, but at least now I know what they look like.

.... so, when is vol. 7 coming out?

This book was hilarious. I loved following teh adventures of 2 sisters, Maureen (the younger one) and Wendy (the older one). They have so many ups and downs which make the book even more funny. These two sisters fight a lot, but they sill share some of their same thoughts. This book is perfect for readers ages 6-9.

This was an adorable look at sisterhood told through a series of graphic vignettes. The illustrations are adorable and the characters of Maureen & Wendy are very relatable. Kids with siblings will relate to the equal measures of love/frustration that these siblings flow between.

For libraries: It is worth noting that this doesn't appear to be a series that needs to read in order.

Extremely fun and perfect for fans of Telgemeier. I didn’t realize these were translated from the French until I read other reviewers, which accounts for some minor oddities, but I eagerly added this one and others to my school’s order.

This comics series is well loved by my girls. A common game they play is "Wendy & Maureen". They enjoy seeing the emotional swing between friendship/connection and annoyance/frustration. It's definitely geared towards kids, as I don't think it's as funny as they do.

ARC from the publisher via NetGalley, but the opinions are my own.

Idk if my file is bad? But the comic is black? Was anyone's like that?
I couldn't read some of the words?
I tried 😪
From what I could read it was okay.

Adorable. My daughters (ages 11 &8) loved it. I thought it was cute too. Easy to read and darling pictures. All of my children are loving all the graphic novels and this one was just what they were looking for. This is the first of this series we have read, but I will be getting the other ones for my girls to read.

This is so cute! Wendy and Maureen are so relatable if you have a sister of your own. I loved the actual portrayal of their love for each other in their own ways. I also loved how this volume started (Little Wendy and Baby Maureen) and ended (both are adults). This book made me just miss my sister more.

The story of sisters, Wendy and Maureen are one I am sure many can relate to like myself. The story is solely focused on the sister's relationship with glimpses of additional characters and parents throughout the story. If you're looking for something sweet and fluffy, this is the story for you!

I have many of those comics in French on my shelves already but I wanted to see if this comic was still funny, even when translated in English. I have to say, even though I found the translation a bit weird sometimes, especially when Maureen speaks in her childish manner, it still made me laugh a lot. I just relate so much to Wendy and Maureen as I have also a smaller (blond) sister and our relationship is so similar to the one described here. And I think most people with a smaller sibling can relate, even if you’re not a girl because at this age, it doesn’t change much. The drawings are also so cute and well done, I enjoyed it a lot. If you observe the different drawings, you’ll notice that the parent’s faces are never drawn, they’re always kind of out of the picture so that we can focus better on the sisters I guess. What do you think? Overall, I would recommend this comic to children with siblings or even adults if you want to read something light and funny.
5/5
