Somebody to Love by Sharon Sala Another delightful visit to Blessings, GA. A sweet romance with a HEA ending for Knox Hunt and Ava. Well written with reliable characters with a family feud mystery solved. Updates on family relationships, neighbors, and the community are a bonus. As always looking forward to the next book in the series.

Thank you to the publisher, author, and NetGalley for the opportunity to preview the book.

Hunter Knox left his family in Blessings, Georgia behind 15 years ago after they dealt him a terrible wrong, but came back to honor his mom’s wishes. While there he meets up with a childhood friend of the family Ava, who happens to be caring for his mom. Ava is ecstatic as her childhood crush on Hunter has never gone away. While fixing up his family home Knox uncovers some old secrets and starts to depend on Ava to help heal his wounded heart. Their instant attraction blooms during their weeks together. This is a nice soft romance with a bit of intrigue regarding a family secret. For those who are unfamiliar with the author she also blends multiple small side stories to intertwine with the main story of Hunter and Ava so you see lots of familiar faces from this series, although you do not need to read them to enjoy this book ( although I do recommend them). It’s truly a heart warming story with lovable characters. 5 stars. I received an arc copy of this book from NetGalley and the publisher for my honest review.

I enjoy Sharon Sala’s books. This book is set in Blessings, Georgia. It is part of a series, but can be read as a standalone. Hunter Knox has come home to see his mom. She is dying but needs to see him one last time. Hunter left when he was eighteen because his college fund went missing. He hasn’t spoken to his siblings because they knew where the money went. Ava is a nurse taking care of Hunter’s mom in the hospital. Hunter’s mom used to babysit Ava when she was younger. I loved the different storylines and catching up with the people of Blessings. Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for the E-ARC. This is my own opinion.

As soon as I see that it's a Blessings book I know I have to read it. Sharon Sala has such a way with these characters.
Blessings, Georgia is the setting. A small town where everyone knows everyone's business. A town full of fun and unique characters.
Ava has been in this town since she was a child, Hunt, was raised in this town but left after his college fund went missing. He hasn't been back in 17 years. Him and Ava grew up together. He's now back cause his mama is dying.
He has information to get from his siblings who he hasn't spoken the whole time he's been gone cause they were involved in the secret around the missing money.
A lot of emotions in this book. Well worth the read.

Another wonderful visit to Blessings, GA!

Hunt Knox returns to Blessings, a place he left as a teenager under difficult circumstances. He is back because his mother is dying, and her last wish was for him to come back and settle her estate. At her bedside his brothers and sisters form a unit that excludes Hunt. His only advocate is Ava, a woman who’d known the family for years, and had a crush on Hunt all that time.

After his mom passes, Hunt begins renovating the house, and is still at odds with his siblings. No one will confess who was responsible for stealing Hunt’s college fund years ago, leading to Hunt leaving home and joining the Army. Hunt and Ava begin their relationship and quickly fall in love. There is drama and heartache, along with the revelation behind the theft, and a tease to a future relationship for more than one of the Knox sibs..

Every book in this series is like a visit to a beloved home town. The author weaves characters in masterfully throughout the series, but in a way that each could still be read as a standalone.. Every time I finish one I start looking forward to the next..

Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book, but my opinions are my own.

Hunt returns home to his hometown of blessings GA for the first time since he was 18 years old to see his mother one last time as she battles cancer. He left town after someone in his family stole his life savings which he planned to use for college. Instead of college, he joins the army where he serves as an elite helicopter pilot until his chopper is shot down.

Hunt’s mother has hung on long enough to see her oldest son one last time before passing away. Hunt sees his three siblings for the first time in 13 year while at the hospital. He also finds out that his mother’s nurse is the grown-up version of the little girl that his mother babysat years ago. He never would have recognized the beautiful woman that Ava has become.

Ava had a crush on Hunt throughout much of her childhood. She thought that she had outgrown the crush until she reconnects with Hunt again. Ava soured on relationships after her last serious boyfriend cheated on her. However, she realizes that she and Hunt could have something real if they just didn’t live in two different places. Can Hunt get over being betrayed by his family and find love with a hometown girl?

I love this Blessings, Georgia series! The community, the family, the coming together in fun, adversity and love.

Hunt Knox is one of my favorite in this series. Hurry beyond repair as a teen, he fled home, went into the military and now home to honor his mother's dying wishes. Completely betrayed by his siblings, Hunt wants to get in and out as easy as possible. Ava Ridley appearing at his mother's bedside is going to make that impossible. Ava crushed on Hunt when she was a small child. As a grown woman, Hunt is even better and she's got to let him know.

I loved Ava'a boldness! This story was sweet bringing Ava and Hunt together and better by bringing healing to the Knox family.

Throw in all the other drama in this small town and once again Sharon Sala brings us back to Blessings with a hit. So, what's up with Birdie next?

The depth and feelings expressed in this book are fantastic. A theft which caused the split in this lovely family becomes known and the mystery solved, allowing them to become united once again. A real rollercoaster of emotion. Ava has loved Hunter since being a little girl, and was heartbroken when he left but they reconnect when he returns to bury his mother, and forgive his brothers and sister for the wrong done years ago. I hope this will have many spin-off stories and we can return to the small town of Blessing and the people who live there.
