The Grumpy Cat Awful-ly Big Comics Collection is a fun book! If you like Grumpy Cat, you’ll enjoy these stories. The illustrations were so different, and it was interesting to see how each author envisioned Grumpy Cat. I think they all did a great job of embodying who Grumpy Cat is, and staying true to the jokes and responses that we would typically hear from her. This book did a good job of incorporating artists that were super detailed and also ones that were less busy. I think there was a good mix of both and the stories flowed from one to the next well. There are all kinds of stories to choose from too, but I think my favorite was Surfing Cat!

A collection of comics featuring the internet-famous Tardar Sauce, better known as Grumpy Cat? No way I was missing out on this!
This comic collection made me laugh out loud numerous times. Grumpy has the same dry sense of humor as me. The way Grumpy Cat interacted with Pokey was priceless. I loved that Nikola Tesla even made an appearance in one of the comics! The comic would be good for both kids and adults. This is a not-to-miss collection for fans of Grumpy cat!

Oh, Grumpy Cat, you are my spirit animal! I loved this collection of Grumpy Cat inspired comics. Some were funny, some were melancholy and there were a couple that were kind of sad and depressing. But, overall, just a really fun collection of stories featuring our favorite lady, Grumpy Cat, and her overly optimistic brother, Pokey.

I enjoyed reading them.

I love Grumpy Cat and this comic collection was really delightful and a quick, fun escape from reality! A bit reminiscent of Garfield, Grumpy Cat and Pokey go on crazy adventures in different settings. Guaranteed to put a smile on your face!

If you are looking for a quick, fun read, the Grumpy Cat Awful-ly Big Comics Collection is for you! These funny stories about the beloved Grumpy cat who stole America's hearts are disastrously hilarious! Digital readers may experience a couple of comics that are a bit fuzzy and harder to read, but over all the comics are crisp and sharp, easy to read, and fun to look at. Make sure you join Grumpy and Pokey on their crazy sibling adventures as they torture Dog, fight with the neighborhood cats, and search for cat food. Much like Grumpy's view of love, this book can be "sweaty, uncomfortable, and best experience behind closed doors." Or that could have been the temperature outside and the fact that the AC was on in the house... either way, you need this book!

This collection of comics was so much fun. It's about Grumpy Cat and her brother Pokey and they have so many adventures in these short comics. In general, the comics are adorable and funny. There's some science-fiction, humor, fantasy and the beloved Grumpy Cat being cranky most of the time. I really liked this comic and I'll buy my own copy!

Firstly, I have to say that Grumpy was new for me and I just discovered her through this book which was pretty enjoyable and entertaining.
I loved this book for the arts, the adventures, the funny dialogues and the characters even if they are just pets. I had a good time while reading it.
I really took my time reading the funny adventures with the wild imagination of both Pokey and Grumpy in each new story. I loved Pokey so much, he is so naive cute and believed all the stories Grumpy told him while he pushed her to follow him in his crazy foolish adventures. For me, it's Pokey who makes Grumpy alive because without him, we know that Grumpy would be lonely just doing nothing but eating, sleeping and being grumpy. I believe that she really loves and cares for her brother and finds the patience in her to let him leads her in his nonsensical experiences.
It was a good discovery that I enjoyed very much and I hope that a lot of people will read and love it like I did.

This was a very cute comic collection about the adventures of the infamous Grumpy Cat and her brother Pokey. This would be great for anyone getting into comics, especially a younger audience. There are many different genres within so there is something for everyone.

This is a collection of comics about Grumpy Cat and his adventures. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't for me. The artwork seemed a little too basic and the story was too simplistic. Children might enjoy it, but it's definitely not for a grown up audience.

I find that book really funny. The grumpiness of the cat made me laugh out loud and remined me of the movie Pets in some way. I would recommend it! Even more if you like cats!

This volume is a compilation of all of Grumpy Cat's comic adventures, including 29 stories of Grumpy and her brother Pokey. Each story is roughly a dozen pages or less and can be consumed in one sitting, so they are great for short attention spans. The stories are disconnected and non-linear à la Looney Tunes. The art styles vary because different artists contribute to each comic.
Many of the jokes may go over a child or even a teenager's head. For example, Grumpy says in one of the stories that her worst nightmare is Nickelback making a Creed cover album. These little nuggets are left for parents reading with their children to enjoy but will make the volume seem dated in the years to come. Parents may have to explain some of the other jokes to their children.
The language is more advanced than what younger children may know. The language combined with jokes that would read like nonsense to children make this a good read-aloud title for young kids. The rhyming Christmas story "Grumpus" would be an especially fun read-aloud.
Recommended for older children who are comics fans, especially those who like Garfield and other sarcastic humor. Also suggested for parents to read to younger kids. Grumpy Cat meme fans will also like learning more about the character.

This was fun! Art is really simple and nice, kids will most definitely like this. There's a lot of jokes that only adults will understand tho. Put a smile on my face.

As I’ve mentioned before, I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump during the Rona, so audiobooks, kids books, and comic collections are about all I’ve had the headspace for, and this one was great for the mind (and the soul). The title doesn’t lie, this is a big collection of Grumpy Cat comics, and I loved that there were so many collected in this volume.
All of them are gold, obviously, because Grumpy Cat, but some of my favorites involve superheroes, detective cats, and a haunted house. Each comic has Grumpy’s signature sarcastic style, and the peppy cat and dog Grumpy shares the house with are a good balance to the grump. Their enthusiasm and happiness play off of Grumpy’s attitude quite nicely and make for some comical situations. I feel a lot like Grumpy. I get dragged into situations, and I’ll almost never reveal it, but I usually enjoy things once I’ve convinced myself to do them.
If you’re looking for something light in between heavier reading, definitely pick this collection up. The art is cool, the tales are short and fun, and if you read one here and there, the book will last you a good while.
It’s out in November, so keep an eye on it, perfect for adults and kids alike. I’m in my 30s, and obviously, I loved it. #MemeGeneration.

Very funny comics collection starring Grumpy Cat (RIP), and her brother Pokey. They get into all sorts of crazy situations, different settings, and holidays but Grumpy is always cranky. A great collection for fans of the meme star, but even if you weren’t aware of her still a great read. I will be purchasing this book.

Thank you to the publisher for giving me a free copy of this comic in exchange for an honest review.
I think this comic is a very fun read! I really enjoyed the general story. Since it's kind of made up of multiple stories since it's a collection it was a fun read since you got really excited to read the next story every time.
I really recommend this copy for people that already enjoy Grump comics but even for the people who are new to this (Like me) it is very enjoyable.
The art is very cute and fits well to the story and atmosphere. I think this comic has a lot of potential and will be enjoyed by many different readers and many different age groups for that matter.

I love Grumpy Cat. I was so excited for this comic but it did not hold up. The story was “meh”. I thought there would be more snark from Grumpy Cat. The illustrations didn’t do Grumpy Cat justice. I’m sure many will enjoy this but, as a huge fan of Grumpy Cat, I was disappointed. Thank you for the opportunity to read this.

I had a really good time with this book! It was often funny, sometimes moving, and the reader gets to see different styles throughout the comics! I really loved to follow Grumpy and Pokey, I loved that they are so different but really close - despite what Grumpy can say. I loved that it was really diverse adventure-wise! And I particularly loved the spooky ones, with ghosts - my favorite, the one in the "haunted" house! I also loved that we explore different times and that Grumpy tell stories to her brother!
Definitely a good time!
