As always this is a wonderful start to a new series. I loved Kayla and Aaron. These two characters have quite a bit of baggage. They both have troubles telling others how they feel. I love that this series is based around a book mobile. This story is fantastic. I did not want to put this book down. I received a copy of this book from Netgalley for a fair and honest opinion that I gave of my own free will.

Sarah Ann Miller, still grieving her beloved husband's death, starts her new job as a librarian in this first book of the Berlin Bookmobile series. I love that the author is writing a series about the bookmobile. Years ago I was able to work on a bookmobile and dearly loved the adventure. Sarah Ann fulfills her duties well as she strives to help each of her patrons. The characters are realistic and likeable. I loved Aaron's lively family and how they teased each other. I liked the interaction between Sarah Ann and her patrons. I had hoped that Kayla's dad's depression would have been dealt with a little differently. I look forward to meeting more characters as Sarah Ann adds another stop in the next installment. Recommended!

I appreciate the opportunity of reading an early release of A Perfect Amish Romance by gifted author Shelley Shepard Gray. I’m never disappointed in her stories. This one is another winner with a bookmobile in rural areas serving the Amish. Aaron and Kayla story is more than him striving for his GED. Sarah Anne Miller is a bonus with her caring and friendly librarian skills and a confidant to many. The multiple characters with strong traits and flaws are discovering that life isn’t all about having a mapped out plan but unearthly treasures they had not anticipated during their own struggles and sorrows. I look forward to reading each book Gray releases in her Berlin Bookmobile series.

Thank you to NetGalley and publisher Gallery Books for the early release without a positive review being required. I have shared my own personal thoughts. I highly recommend this book to fans of Christian and Amish fiction who wants to enjoy a heartwarming and uplifting story.

First I should say I love the books by this author, and this one was no exception!
We meet Sarah Anne Miller, the new bookmobile librarian, and now maybe matchmaker?
There are a lot of assumptions about what another person is thinking here, but how these problems are resolved, well some are big surprises!
There is some sweet romance, some physical challenges, along with everyday survival. We meet some of these problems, as the characters here face their life’s problems!
One surprisingly wants to get his GED, why? Amish only go to the eighth grade, but he feels he will do more with his life, will he? Another is bogged down with her grieving father, the rent is due, how will this all turn out.
Come along and enjoy entering the lives of these Berlin Ohio Amish folks, and see the hearts of some, and how some seem to enjoy the pain of others! Once you are involved you won’t want to leave!

Sarah Anne miller is a widowed, retired accountant who begins a job for the local bookmobile. As a person who used to work in a library, I loved this aspect of the story. I enjoyed how much joy that she brought in to the lives of her patrons. She cared about not just what books they were reading but also what circumstances they were going through. Aaron uses the bookmobile to read books for his GED and Sarah Anne helps him find a tutor in Kayla. Jane is a young widow who has been struggling with her health and she is a friend to her.

Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc. The opinions are my own.

I was so excited to read this after my loooooong pending approval. Oh my! It was so worth the wait!
New characters to love and well it's just Shelley Shepard Gray! Fabulous!
I thought the name Tiny was unusual and cute! Matched her personality just perfectly. I finished this novel late into the night and I have no regrets it was so very good! This book will be on my list of 2021 faves.
I enjoyed the aspect of the bookmobile. I think it's because it can reach people who can't get out or people that don't have any way of going to the library.
Sarah Anne was a wonderful librarian. I liked her immediately! I think real life librarians can learn some lessons from her in hospitality. Sure she was nervous at first because she didn't think that she wasn't the right person for the job. I especially like how Ron built her confidence up so that she might be able to good a job. I thought she was perfect!
The first in a brand new series by Shelley Shepard Gray that will be sure to delight you. It did me but then, I love Amish romance anyway and this one was no exception.
I highly recommend.
My thanks for a copy of this amazing book! I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions are my own.

This is the first book of a new series by beloved Amish author, Shelley Shepard Gray, that follows bookmobile driver, Sarah Ann Miller, who services and interacts with the Amish community.

The book introduces us to a community of interesting people. The first two main characters the series features are Aaron Coblentz, who harbors a secret to take the GED test, not a normal event in the lives of the Amish, and Kayla Kaufman, who has her own secrets, as well as being older than Aaron. Aaron hires her to become his tutor. Their relationship takes twists and turns throughout the book.

You will not want to miss this new series. I look forward to the other books in the series to see how the people’s lives intertwine.

I received an advanced copy of this book from Gallery Books and NetGalley. The opinions expressed are my own.

Shelley Shepard Gray is one of my favorite writers. She writes Christian Amish fiction and makes the characters and happenings very real. This book, the beginning of the Berlin Bookmobile series, did not fail to meet my expectations of a book written by Ms Gray. It is refreshing to read about the uncomplicated Amish lifestyle. This book is based on the bookmobile librarian and her ability to help others. I received an arc of this book from NetGalley and the publisher. All opinions expressed are my own.

This is a brand-new series from stellar Amish fiction writer, Shelley Shepard Gray. For me, this story evoked memories from childhood and the excitement of waiting for the day the bookmobile arrived. The story starts with Sarah Anne Miller beginning her part-time job as a bookmobile librarian to the Amish. She is not sure she is qualified. However, Sarah soon learns that her relationships with her patrons is very special. She listens to gain understanding of their book interests as well as what issues they may be dealing with in their lives. Amish Aaron Coblentz is secretly trying to earn his GED. Sarah discovers he is struggling so she helps him find a tutor, Amish Kayla Kaufman. Aaron does not realize Kayla has her secret, too. The relationships of the different characters in the story are endearing but sometimes, as in life, there are misunderstandings, but hope is sprinkled throughout. I recommend this heart-warming story and look forward to Book Two!

Shelley Shepard Gray has done an outstanding 5-star job in writing A Perfect Amish Romance, published by Gallery Books.

Aaron Coblentz is very much Amish, but he wants to earn his GED. With the help of bookmobile librarian Sarah Anne Miller, Aaron is introduced to Kayla Kaufman as a possible tutor. Both are keeping secrets, lonely, and in need of friendship.

Can their business relationship blossom into more?

Read this wonderful book when published, March 3, 2021.

I was given an ARC through NetGalley by Gallery Books. I was not required to give a positive review. Opinions are my own.

Shelley Shepard Gray writes the best Amish fiction. She always keeps them clean while managing to bring in a few challenges for the characters. I loved this story, especially as a book lover. Can’t wait to read the rest of the series!

I am a Shelley Shepard Gray fan. Her books always have interesting characters and real-life situations. I also love Amish stories. But so many Amish stories these days are like Hallmark movies-predictable, sweet and with a happily-ever-after ending. A Perfect Amish Romance is the best of both worlds. This is the first in a new series so if that's not your cup of tea, then move on. I am looking forward to the next book!
A Perfect Amish Romance revolves around a bookmobile and the woman that operates it. As she becomes acquainted with her patrons at each stop, she not only suggests books to read but provides a listening ear and an open heart. The story revolves around the people, largely Amish, that look to her for advice. A Perfect Amish Romance includes everything from struggling to pay bills to suffering with Multiple Sclerosis. There is happiness too, make no mistake. We meet Amish families that are loud and messy with real-life problems. And about that bookmobile librarian, Gray lays the groundwork for her life to get interesting! I give this book 5 stars and can't wait for book two!
I voluntarily received a copy of this book from Netgalley.

I saw a correlation between an Amish proverb at the beginning of the book about the lack of signposts at the crossroads in life with the numerous times I have experienced driving somewhere I have never been and failing to find adequate road signs. In all my travels, I had never once thought about the similarities between that and living life. I often get exasperated when I am in a sizable city trying to find a particular street but the street signs are on the corner that is the farthest distance from where I am, and they are either blocked from view by other vehicles or too small to read from where I sit. So, you are probably wondering what that could possibly have to do with an Amish romance. Some may have already figured it out. In any romance, we would love to have signs clearly marking out the route to keep us from making major blunders. One young couple in the story has known each other since early childhood, growing up as neighbors. As they are now of courting age, everything is suddenly different. No one has placed any signs to mark out the route for them to follow, so both of them keep coming up with the wrong answers. The other young man and young woman meet for the first time at the beginning of the story. The bookmobile librarian arranges for them to meet because one of them needs a tutor and the other is a tutor. They need signposts as well, but probably a different type from the first couple since they just met. I particularly enjoyed the role of the librarian. She was a retired accountant who needed something to do since her husband had passed away. Even at the age of sixty, she felt the need for signposts as she began her new job. I received an advance copy of this book from the publisher. This is my honest review. All opinions are strictly my own.

Wow!!! What a fantastic start to a new series by one of my favorite Amish authors, Shelley Shepard Gray! This book grabbed my attention from page one and left me excited for book two (although it did NOT leave me "hanging" as I await book two). This book tells multiple stories at once, intertwining the lives of several people in the community and weaving their stories together - a lot like life in a small community! The book is well-written, enjoyable to read, with a depth beyond "just a romance". Great story!

I always love reading any book by Shelley Shepard Gray and this one didn't disappoint! An interesting spin on the ways of the Amish and their views on the value of education.

Sarah-Anne is retired and in her retirement has become the book-mobile driver for her community. She not helps her patrons find books that suit their interests but has become a confidante and a great listener for them too.

Aaron is a young Amish man who is trying to study to pass his GED. He thinks by doing this his boss will find him more suited to advance in the ranks of his business.. Aaron hires Kayla to help him study for his GED and through their studies a friendship develops. She leans on him for support as much as he leans on her for help in his studies. Kayla is also dealing with some life-altering issues in her life mainly due to her dad's selfishness and uncaring attitude. Their friendship deepens as they both help each other through life situations.

Thank you to the publisher, Gallery Books, and NetGalley for the opportunity to read an advance copy of this book. This is my honest and unbiased opinion of this book!
