This is my first book by the author and I really like the writing style

I enjoyed the descriptive nature of the settings and the plot itself was a solid mystery, but it was the relationship between the two protagonists which really drew me in.

The relationships are what make this book great. I enjoyed the wonderful descriptions of the settings and the plot itself was a solid mystery, but it was the relationship between the two protagonists which really drew me in. The way they engaged on a professional level and how that impacted their personal relationship was really fascinating.
