Well, it's a love story with a very interesting premise. Candace is a successful romance writer and dealing with her partner who cheated on her. But the thing is, she doesn't want to deal with it so needs some space and alone time to think clearly and work.

Eric, her friend and literary agent, offers his house where she can spend her time away from her present life. But she would have to live with Logan who is a 'very special friend' of Eric.

So, Logan is supposedly gay. Good, as Candace doesn't want any relationship complications. Logan is devastatingly handsome and everything any woman could want and guess what, she is falling for her.

The story is told from dual points of view, so even Logan is strongly attracted to Candace but he is trying to stay away as Eric has warned him to do so.

Okay, it was an interesting and engaging read until it turned too repetitive. It seemed all about 'wanting to kiss, touch, hold' each other. And in this course, the substance is missing. There's no real conflict or interesting situations. Logan's backstory is meaningful but that's it. The author has tried build a mystery but sadly I didn't find myself caring about it. I liked the characters, especially Logan but something that really disappointed me was the chemistry between the protagonists. No, there's spark, certain scenes erotic even but there's no emotional depth, at least I felt so. I didn't feel for their emotional attachment.

The writing is good. You may enjoy reading it if you like reading romance.

A good balance of romance and mystery, this will appeal to readers of both genres. Sprinkled with humour, this is a nicely written book which holds your interest throughout.
