I was really excited for this book but I felt like was almost too much of a slow burn. I found myself getting bored with it even when I knew I shouldn't have been. It was a beautiful story but maybe not exciting enough.

I received an ARC from NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for an honest review. This book was fabulous. This book Madame President is about life. It is about great chemistry between two people when they are young, to miscommunication leading to hurt feelings, It is about picking yourself up and moving forward. So what happens when one of the people becomes the first female President? We find out in the book but we also find out and I am thankful the author brings awareness to childhood cancer because I am reading this in September and participating in September is Childhood Cancer Awareness. Month. I had to chuckle when even when your mother isn't around you can still hear her tell you things and you have to stop the car and turn around and go do what she is saying. Yes, that is life. As I was reading this book I thought, this is nice, I see I fit right in with everyone here.

I finished this book in one day. I could not put it down. I loved the romance and chemistry this had. Definitely recommendable,!!!

This book was a great upcoming if age romance! It made me laugh, swoon and just enjoy the main characters. I would have liked more on the twist as i feel went unanswered for me. This book however took a different approach to politics, chasing your dream and girl power. It also touched on sensitive subjects that were graciously handled. A great quick read but only three stars for unanswered questions and some lack of depth.
