This is so lovely and has beautiful illustrations. The content and the message are easy to understand and digest for young readers to know about LGBTQIAP+. I cried after reading the entirety of this and knowing that the real Julian died. This book is just full of love and I'm a sucker for it.

Such a beautiful book. The artwork is incredible. I’ll definitely be recommending it to everyone, even if they don’t have children. We all need to learn a little more about LGBTQ+ lives and rights around the world.

This story is beautifully illustrated. I think a lot of the facts went over my young kids head but I liked the story and was really sad when I saw at the end of the story that the real Julian had died. This book is a great tribute to their love.

What a beautiful idea and magical way to celebrate your love with someone. It's even more special upon reading that this is a way to celebrate Julian's life. The artwork was just lovely, and I loved all the little tidbits about each country as a little extra something to the tale.
