Interesting book about dreamers that predict the future. This book has the feel of a series to it and I hope so because Andy and Isabelle are both amazing characters with a lot more story to tell. Some plot points were left vague as if there’s more to come. The mystery and intrigue surrounding a couple of murders kept me glued to the pages as did their burgeoning romance. Seriously hope there’s more to come. I received a copy from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I was on the fence because of the dreaming the future premise of the story, but I truly enjoyed it. I think this would make an awesome Netflix series, but if they don't pick it up I am hoping this is the first book of a new series, I can't wait!

Isabelle is a twenty-year-old maths genius, she is working on an algorithm to predict human behaviour and recently she started dreaming about events that would actually happen. Isabelle is what the call a dreamer at Ma Soeur, a non-profit that on paper fights for women's rights but does so much more than that. Dreamers are supported by keepers, Isabelle is the most powerful dreamer they've had since the 1400s. A powerful dreamer needs a talented keeper to help them, this forces Andy out of retirement. Not that she is very willing to help anyone at Ma Soeur, but she sets out to do this one last job. Isabelle is not worried about Andy doubting wanting to work for the non-profit, her dreams have told her all she needs to know. But the dream that has the two women together involves another woman being shot in the back and other crimes and maybe even their deaths as a consequence. Will Andy stay with Ma Soeur, will Isabelle be able to help save lives with her dreams? It all depends on how they act and are able to interpret the dreams.

Although this book is light on character development, a thing I put great value on, I truly enjoyed this read. It was more about the suspense and them getting things right and figuring out who did what. I do hope this book turns into a series and we get to know the characters a bit better, there certainly is a lot of potential for it. This book is one of my favourite reads of the year, it keeps you well entertained and is a fresh new approach to a crime story.

One of the best books that I have read this year and maybe in the past couple of years. I can’t find any others books written under Sydney’s nam but there is no way that this is her first book because the story and the writing was superb! I also give this a high rating for a new and fresh story. Andy and Isabelle were a great team, I loved the tension between the two of them and this story was a real page turner. I really hope that there will be a sequel because I’ll be buying it. Well done!

Isabella is twenty year old math genius who trying to create a algorithm that can detect human behavior. She begins to have dreams that seems to come true when she tries to save a friend she gets on the radar of company called Ma Soeur that deals with special talents.

Andy walked away from the Ma Soeur and vow to never come back. She is called a keeper someone who’s protect when she gets manipulate by her mother Kate who’s runs the organization to help the newcomer Isabella hones her skills they are in a race to prevent her dreams from happening. Andy didn’t expect to feel something for Isabella she vow to do this job and away. Isabella knows they belong together because she dreamt it but as Andy keeps fighting her feelings and Isabella dreams are coming true will they able save the victims and themselves before it’s too late.

I really love books with psychic abilities as premise because I wonder if it’s true can someone predict when a crime happen and try to prevent it or do you believe it’s fate and let it happen. I really hope this going to be a series and not just a stand alone because I would love to read more with theses characters.
