A well-organized self-help book, framed through the lens of martial arts. Dieck has an easy-to-read style, and the book is broken down into clear, concise parts. It's meant to be read in order, each subsequent section building on the one before. There were references to martial arts throughout, and examples from Dieck's own life. If you're looking for a way to try and strengthen your mental discipline, and enjoy martial arts, you'll probably find this quite helpful.

I found the beginning of the book kept going on about what I would learn from this book for nearly the first 10% of the book. As someone who has ADHD that isn't a great start! I need grabbing quickly..

This book has some good ideas, but as with all self-help books, it's implementing them into your life.
