I listened to The Day Cookie was Lost by Susan Chapman with my 8 year old boy. He is a big animal lover and loved the story. It is told from Cookie's perspective.

I wasn't keen on the narration being in an American Accent, and it sounded over the top, but then again, I never really keen on American narration s maybe this is just me.

The story was sweet and worth a listen. Little kids will love it.

Thank you to Netgalley and Canoe Tree Press for providing my with an ARC audio copy in return for a genuine review.

This was a very cute kid's book about Cookie, a Pomeranian, who got lost. The story was very easy to follow, and the photo illustrations (if you had the ebook/printed copy) were super cute!

For the audiobook, I think the narrator did such a great job! The voice was clear and enthusiastic, perfect for kids.

A short, cute story told from Cookie’s perspective. Follow her adventure as she tries to find her way back to her mum and sister.

The Day Cookie Was Lost by Susan Chapman. A very cute little book. I love stories about animals and I think most children do too. I am interested in letting my grandchildren listen to this book. My granddaughter will just love this story as she gets older. She is almost six months old and watches the animals my daughter has 1 dog and3 cats, moving around her. The next time I go to the bookstore I will really curious to see the book.

A super cute little story of a fluffy white dog -- who gets separated from her mom and fur-sister. Oh no!

It's a quick read (it took 10 minutes to listen to). And then female narrator had a delightful voice that I think children will connect to well.

Thanks to NetGalley for providing me with a free copy in return for an honest opinion.

Lovely short story. I actually started listening to this by accident and let it play through, so cute.

Of every audiobook I have ever listened to, I have never heard a narrator as perfect as the one chosen for this book. If the dog on the cover spoke in a human voice, it would have been the narrator's. The story was also so adorable. Cookie's character is written with just enough personification so as to be very realistic but also extremely relatable. Kids (and many adults) are sure to love this book.

I really liked listening to this story. It is perfect for dog lovers 🐾. The narrator’s voice was perfect as she spoke as Cookie. This is a sweet book. It is perfect for all us Moms who adore our fur babies. Works great to listen with children who have dogs. Cookie is lost and that scares her and she needs to find his way home. Cute, that other animals are woven into the story. Dogs offer so much empathy, loyalty, and kindness it is impossible not to love them dearly.

"Cute" is the best word to describe it. The narrator had that really cute narration that made me feel how adorable Cookie is. A simple and fast read. I enjoyed listening to it.

This is a delightful short children's book about a little dog called Cookie who gets lost on a walk with his sister and his owner. Cookie manages to get reunited with his owner at the end so its a happy ending! Despite the storyline this is not scary for children and would be enjoyed by the young generation.

The narrators voice is high pitched but reads at a good speed.

I listened was lucky to be able to read and listen.

Such an adorable book. I loved it. The adventure story was basic and simple enough for children to understand and follow. What really appealed to me was the photo story, the book uses real photos to tell the story. Super cute images of the dogs.

I also listened to the audiobook, the narrator was very good, with lovely clear words. She brought the story to life and I could imagine the dog speaking

Brilliant book for children

I listened to the audiobook version and was drawn to be by the cuteness of the cover.
This is a 10 minute story that would be perfect for a child's bedtime or a storytime read for young children. It would also be a great teaching tool to help children understand what they should do if separated from their parents.
There is nothing profound here, but young children would like this cute story and could relate to the dog being lost.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

A sweet story for children about a lost dog. The narrator has a high pitched voice that grabs your attention from the start. A great adventurous story in just 10 minutes of listening. Adorable and simple story.

Cute 10 minute audiobook. But it’s really for kids only. I was expecting a more grown up read. Should be a picture book with included plush dog.

The Day Cookie Was Lost by Susan Champan is a cute children's audiobook. I have listened to very few children's audiobooks, but really enjoyed this one. I actually read the book before listening to the audiobook and liked the audiobook better, but definitely enjoyed both forms.

Susan Champan did a good job narrating.
