I enjoyed this devotional! There truly is something for everyone in it. Will be putting on my list for gift giving.

I highly recommend this book. It doesn't read like a devotional, it reads as though you are sitting chatting with your friends. Each of the ladies stories are relatable and each helps you understand the healing power of God.

I received a digital copy of this book from Net Galley. I am half way through the book and absolutely love it! The devotionals are so good and from so many different writers. You'll have perspective from different people of all different backgrounds, yet find something in each one that you can relate to. I look forward to reading this daily.

This is the devotional I have been waiting for. Real struggles in real life from real women who love our eternal God. Honest truth-telling without easy platitudes or pat answers. Because when has that ever helped in our actual messy lives? Never. Instead, these contributing authors offer encouragement and compassion and permission - permission to not be ok and still love Jesus and each other.

This devotional couldn't have come at a better time not just in my life but also for 2020! So many of us are walking through some difficult days. When we go through these trying times, we need authenticity, honesty and someone to come alongside of us who understands. These devotionals provide exactly that. I could relate to almost every devotional in this book because they seek to meet you right where you are not where we think we "should" be in times of stress. Seeking Christ in our trials while allowing ourselves to experience the emotions that come along with it is so freeing and I highly recommend this devotional if you need grace, lack of judgement and encouraging support!

This hope-filled book is for any woman going through a difficult, even heart-breaking time. Many challenging subjects and situations are addressed by over 40 different authors. Each writing is based not only on the author's experience, but more importantly, on God's Word. I found the writing personal, raw, and always reminding me, in a gentle way, that true hope is found in something--that is--true hope is found in Someone greater than what is to be had on earth alone.

Take Heart
Written by many authors, yet with a common thread, Take Heart is encouraging and realistic. A book to be referred to time and again.

Take Heart: 100 Devotions to Seeing God When Life's Not Okay is so raw, real and heart touching! I've read many devotions, but I can't think of any that touch my heart and soul as much as this one. The devotions in this book are so real and hit all the hard areas in life. They aren't happy, feel good stories, they get to the rough places in life. I highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone!

In these sometimes scary and uncertain times, it is comforting to know that God is with us even in the difficult places. Take Heart is a collection of devotionals that emphasizes the point. Each author writes from the heart and I am finding that I can take nuggets from every one. Some speak to me more than others because of the path I've walked, but each devotion is ministering to me. I will be reading one daily and starting over when it ends.

This book is much needed right now.

Take Heart is the devotional for every woman. With personal real world stories of hope, challenge, despair and joy. Every day gave me a chance to look at God's work in each of these circumstances. Each writer gave me a glimpse into their lives and shared their stories as a way to glorify God. The connection to the bible verse each day and the prayer at the end of each devotion created a sacred time with God. A way to start my day with the Lord focused on His teaching. I appreciate the transparency of each contributor noting that life is not perfect and some days aren't easy but we always have Jesus.

I’ll be totally honest in that I was a bit skeptical with this book only because I feared it would bring me down and be negative. But that is far from what it is. Not only did I feel like I was in a community of others who know how I feel and what I’m going through, I felt comfort and encouragement in each of their stories. This is a great devotional book, not just for those who have had struggles and obstacles but even those that haven’t yet. It’s a reminder that God is always with us. I highly recommend.

What a wonderful book! This book is full of encouragement. Each day has a bible verse, a devotion and a prayer to remind you that God is always beside you. This was such an inspiring read for me. Every single devo spoke to me on some level! I would say it is the best devotional book I have read and have read lots of them. I highlyrecommend this book to women of all ages.

This is such an awesome devotional! It addresses so many different topics. It is filled with so much hope and encouragement! I can't wait to get hard copies to share with friends and family. It is something you will definitely want to read more than once!

I have been reading this wonderful devotional and I have to say if you are going through any trials in your life this book is definitely a source of encouragement. There are many different women sharing, difficulties they have experienced in their lives. They share the trial in a short story and then offer a prayer for you to pray to help you if you have gone through the same trial. You may also read and know a friend who is going through something similar and it will encourage you to share the story with them and how to pray for them. These are women just like us, they are not preaching, some of the stories will break your heart. I recommend this book to anyone Christian or not. We are all women and we all have problems and it is encouraging to know you are not alone.

The word that constantly comes to mind as I'm reading this: "Chain-Breakers". This isn't your average daily devotional - these women really get to the heart of the matter and dive deep in a way that touches deep parts of your spirit. These are the ladies whose stories own the hard place of "Even If" and it is fresh wind from the Spirit of God. There is rawness, candor and revelation in each devotional. I have completed this book and the feeling I kept getting as I was reading is that each of the authors were sitting on my couch like sisters, reminding me of the goodness of God even in the dark times of life. Extremely powerful!

A meaningful, inspirational, encouraging devotional written by women just like you and me. Women from all walks of life, with different circumstances they face; struggles and victories just like you and me! This book would be a wonderful gift to yourself and any friend facing the challenges and changing moral climate of our world today.
