When her uncle had sent her undercover as an army lieutenant, she had expected to find some evidence of misappropriation of funds or missing supplies, but uncovering a possible unauthorized access to highly sensitive material lifted her investigative sense to a new level. This wasn’t a story to be written. If her suspicions were right, this was espionage.

Traci Hunter Abramson is an author I can always rely on for a great suspense novel!

On the Run can be read as a stand alone, but I would recommend reading (at least) the other books in the Guardian series. One thing I LOVE about Traci’s books is that a lot of characters overlap in her series. I love seeing them pop up throughout all of her books!

Elle and Noah are a dynamic duo. Their chemistry and compatibility for dealing with stressful situations was so fun to read. The suspense starts right off in chapter 1 and keeps you hooked throughout the book.

The clues throughout the book are expertly placed so that you can foreshadow only a little in advance. I enjoyed all of the in’s and out’s this author knows and has researched for spy novels dealing with government protocols, witness protection programs and espionage!

If you have read and have liked any of her other series I highly recommend this book! Traci is an author that constantly delivers a great book each and every time. If you haven’t read her work, but like conspiracy theories, government intrigue, suspense, a little bit of romance and a page turner I would also highly recommend!

Traci Abramson, doesn't disappoint, this political thriller, kept me reading long past my bedtime. Elle Jameson, while on assignment, in Germany notices some discrepancies, on a drone that is being built. While on the run, she meets Nolan, a Guardian who has been proclaimed dead. The two are on a run for their lives, as they try to find information, regarding the now missing drone. I loved Elle, she was strong under pressure and a favorite character for me. I loved how fast paced the story was. Another great read in the series.

Abramson does it again! You won’t want to put it down.
Traci Hunter Abramson has added yet another fantastic book. As usual with her books, once you start you will be engaged and engrossed within the first few pages. It begins with Elle who is working undercover to discover discrepancies in a drone project. As she begins to get a sense of the problems she meets with her sister, Abby who works in intelligence, for lunch and to ask for help. The lunch results in a poisoning of Abby and the probability that the person was after Elle as well. Elle is then approached by a member of the Guardian Program whose purpose is to protect those in danger because of their knowledge. Thus, starts an intriguing book of being chased by assassins, running for their lives while trying to prevent other deaths. A truly wonderful book. This is an addition to the Guardian series but please note they do not need to be read in order and all of them are a superior read. I was given a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

On the Run is a book that gives crime shows like NCIS, CSI, and Blue Bloods a run for their money. There is action, there is adventure, there is romance, and it all lies within the realms of national security for the United States while being set in a different country.

This is a great follow-up to Traci Abramson's other guardian novels but works well as a stand-alone novel as well. The plot line is cohesive and the mystery of whodunit lasts until Traci is ready for the big reveal. There are different pieces to different mysteries running all throughout which makes this such a good, intense read.

All of Traci's books give me the thrill of the chase without scaring me beyond what I can handle. Everything in this story feels so realistic. Traci Hunter Abramson's first hand experience with the intelligence communities shows in her expertise of writing.

ON THE RUN by TRACI HUNTER ABRAMSON is a well written, fast paced, political thriller which takes place in Europe.
Both Elle Jamison, an investigative journalist, and Nolan, who is one of the élite Guardians, are literally running for their lives, trying to stay alive long enough to destroy the evil plans against America that they have uncovered.
The story gripped me from the beginning and I could not wait to see how it would end - not only the conspiracy part but also the budding romance between Elle and Nolan!
I recommend On The Run to all fans of romantic suspense.
I was given a free copy of the book by NetGalley from Covenant Communications. The opinions in this review are completely my own.
