I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for making this book available to read.
This book was a nice surprise. I didn't expect it to be so entertaining and sweet. It's my first book by this author and definitely won't be the last.
The writing was fun, flirty and easy to read. I found myself thinking about the story randomly during the day, wishing I could finish off the book.
I think the main draw were the characters and the setting. Each character was different, and lovely to read about. It made you want to visit this area in Oregon and go glamping, even with the cougars.
The author made the story short and succinct, and the internal monologues of Brogan and Addison didn't go on unnecessarily. I would've appreciated an intimate scene here and there, but that's probably just me, since they had a lot of tension building up.

I was given a copy with NetGalley for my honest review.

Looking for a clean, fun, second chance romance? This is your book! The characters (Addie and Brogan) knew each other from summer camping together with their families, and not everyone has happy memories of those times. Now, their mothers are plotting to get them together without them catching on. The side characters are wonderful (Billy, is my favorite) and the world building is there for the next book in the series too. I really enjoyed this book, and am already looking forward to reading James and Tara's story.

The premise of this book is super cute. A sweet story of meddling mom matchmakers set in the Oregon wilderness. It certainly makes me want to go for a vacation at the lodge, or go "glamping" in one of the cabins Addie renovates. Lots of pranks and enemies-to-lovers banter. Sweet, light read.

At first, I wasn't sure if the viewpoint from the mothers was necessary, but as it goes on, it becomes one of the best parts. Some of the dialogue is stilted, but not so much to keep me from continuing to read, and I'd be interested in reading other books in the series.
