Working in psychology research, it's difficult for me to be objective about things like this. I actually administer true IQ and cognitive testing. This is definitely just the 'for fun' aspect.

I grew up with IQ tests since my mother was pursuing her PhD in psychology during my childhood. I remember hours at desks with grad students, and I always loved taking them. This book reminds me more of SAT and ACT tests at times than IQ tests, but it will be fun for those who enjoy all kinds of intellectual challenges. It really is not at all like any real IQ test I ever took, but as long as you keep that in mind it will definitely test your brain in a variety of ways.

For IQ challenges, this is a great book that gets right down to business with a ton of questions and tests. Great way to pass time and an easy book to pick up whenever you'd like. Exactly what I look for in books like this.

This is a fun book to look through and pass the time with. While it is not going to give you clinically valid iq scores, it is still fun and can give you a ballpark score.

Test Your IQ is a well balanced addictive intelligence quiz book. The format and layout is very good and the pages are clear and well spaced. I liked the way the answers to each quiz were given straight after the quiz itself. I thought the mixture of question types was very good and I really enjoyed doing the quizzes. Perfect for fans of Mensa and intelligence based quizzes. Great for smart kids too.

This had some good difficult questions within the tests. Its one of the better iq tests I have seen.
