I'd like to thank the author, publisher and Net Galley for providing a free copy of this book in exchange for my review.

This book is number 16 in the "A Mystery of Recipes". The story is well developed and the characters seem to be well developed as well. I haven't read any of the other books in the series, so I was new to it all.

Overall, this felt very much like a typical cozy mystery series - you have a cute little town full of people who have 'regulars' and care about each other enough to check up on each other. And a set of best friends working together and solving mysteries.

Maybe it's because I haven't read others in the series, but I had a bit of a tough time getting into the book. I felt like I was missing something with the characters and banter and such. I wasn't really pulled into the community that cozy mysteries tend to build.

When a long time customer doesn’t show for her standing order, Libby and Bernie are worried. When the woman disappears, her Mystery Book Club hires the sisters to find out what happened. When Bernie and Libby find the woman’s body in a local marsh, the book club members hire them again to find out who killed her, because they do not believe it was an accident. Now the sisters are balancing cooking, baking and sleuthing to get some answers. Hopefully it won’t sink them as it did Margo.

This is the second book I have read in this series. The last one I felt the sisters argued and were too snippy and nasty with each other, but this one was far better in that regard and I enjoyed the whodunit. I will read more in this series and catch up on the previous books.

One of my favorite series. Bernie and libby are asked to investigate a friend who went missing. When they stumble upon a murder. Bernie and libby set out find the killer. Till then they are finding people who are lying. Will they find the killer before he or she strikes again. Read the book.

Thank you Netgalley for the early access to A Catered Book Club Murder by Isis Crawford. Margo has disappeared. Her friends from the Longely Mystery Book Club have asked Bernie and Libby to find her. They own "A Little Taste of Heaven", a food takeaway place. Do the sister's find Margo? Will they look for the culprit? Hopefully Bernie and Libby will find the answers. The book club members seem to be turning on each other. What will happen next?

Sleuthing Sisters....
Sisters, Libby and Bernie Simmons cater for book lovers, providing scrumptious delights for the book lovers meetings. The pair turn their art to sleuthing when reliable Margo Hemsley disappears. When a body is discovered the real sleuthing begins in earnest. What secrets will be discovered? Enjoyable cosy mystery and whilst I would love to see these characters developed in much more depth this was a fun read.

This was my first time reading this author and series. I wish I had read previous books in the series to know more about the characters before diving in. It was a good mystery and I plan on going back and reading other books in the series.

This is about two sisters who run a catering business and solve a few crimes on the side.
This is #16 in the series.
Libby and Bernie have stepped into again. The local book club has a missing persons they need them to solve. The police aren't working fast enough for them. So they decide to do it.
Some yummy recipes also included.
Likeable characters, fun cozy

This book had me laughing out loud. Libby and Bernie always get themselves mixed up in murder investigations, and it’s always poor Libby who tries to do the right thing.
Libby and Bernie are hired to locate a member of the local book club, who seems to have disappeared without a trace.
It seems the book club members have a lot of secrets, some that they would do anything to keep from getting out.

I love the mouthwatering recipes in this book, and I’m glad that Libby and Bernie are starting to grow up. In some of the past books, they were very immature, and it’s nice to see that the author has taken them in another direction. I’m always excited to to read a book in this series.

I had a hard time getting into this book. I just didn't get into the characters, there isn't a lot of personality to them. The ending was ok, I was definitely surprised by who the bad guys turned out to be but it didn't feel like it mattered that much. #ACateredBookClubMurder #NetGalley
