Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.

The war is still on and Sally Harper, whilst husband Ben is working at the War Office continues, as best she can during this difficult time to keep Harpers afloat..

Meanwhile, Beth, is also fighting her concerns for her husband Jack, whose now at sea with the Merchant Navy, along with the fear that she may never see him again, and be blessed with a child.

But, are these fears of hers going to be proved right, or will she finally have cause to forget these fears and concerns????

Maggie, tired due to exhaustion, is now working as a nursing assistant on the battlefields in France.

Facing the horrors that she sees everyday of the casualties of war.

Maggie, receives upsetting news, about her fiancé. Will she return home and leave behind the gruesome sights she’s witnessed or stay????

It seems each Harper Girl is facing their own worries of those near and dear and whether they will return safe back to them.

So, will those loved ones of the Harpers Girls’ survive and be able to look forward to happiness???

Another fabulous book by Rosie. Hoping there’s another to follow.

Recommend it.
