A bit different from this author's other books but one I still enjoyed either way it went.
This book didn't disappoint me at all! I love reading about the Amish.
I love this author. I've feel like I've known her all of my life from the wonderful stories that she writes.
Her stories do make you feel that you have come home to a home that you've always dreamed of having.
I liked this book for many reasons. Yes, parts of it were slow but it gets better as you read on. Some parts will make you want to cry because as we all know, losing a loved one is never easy especially one close to us but if they have Jesus we know we'll see them again.
I loved Andrew. Andrew is enigmatic! He's just special and I admired him a lot. He's what every man needs to be but I know that's impossible because we are human and we make mistakes. But I like him none the less.
MaryAnn is a heroine in my book. She takes everything in stride and deals with it as it comes.
She reminds me of the certain things she does in this book with her parents that I've went through with mine.
Even though I hate secrets they are what made this story interesting.
I loved how the author shows us that even the Amish aren't perfect and they keep secrets from one another too.
I might add that secrets do have a way of coming out. So, it's never good to keep them.
God knows either way it goes. We can't hide nothing from Him. He sees all.
This book will find yourself praying for the characters in Charm. Do y'all ever do that? Pray for the people of whatever book you're reading?
This book was so wonderful that once again I didn't want to say goodbye.
I'm eagerly waiting to see which character Jebber will write about next and the covers of her books are always so beautiful and interesting.
I recommend this book.
My thanks to Netgalley. I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions are my own.

I read close to 2-3 books a week and this one was a struggle for me to get into and really absorb. Definitely good for an Amish fiction lover.

Good story, but a little boring. It begins with Maryanne and Andrew becoming engaged. They have some misunderstandings, and a death in each family, and eventually they do get married. Good story, but not great.
