Rebecca Zanetti creates romantic suspense novels that me make wish I can stay with the characters. There's everything I want in this book. The banters between characters, sexy scenes, humor, danger, and deadly scenarios. Plus, suspense.

Rebecca is climbing to the very top of my favorite romantic suspense author. She's claimed #1 in my paranormal already so why not.
Angus Force has been an enigma since his first appearance in book 1. This guy had so many secrets and so many scars . But the scars you can't see are the ones that hurt most.
Nari Zhang is the teams therapist/psychiatrist. This combination should not have worked but it did in away only Rebecca could write perfectly.
I was on the edge of my seat the whole ride.
Loved it is an understatement.

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I've tried several books by Rebecca now and her books are just not my cuppa tea. I'm not sure if it's the writing style or what but unfortunately something just isn't clicking. I keep going back but fail. I love her covers and synopsis. They both always draw me in but once I get between the pages it's a wrap, nothing keeps me captivated.

Thank you for the opportunity to read and review this book. I'm sorry I can't provide a review.

DNF @ multiple percentages.

Rating 1 star because NetGalley makes us leave a rating, this is not a reflection on the book itself.

Nari and Angus, finally their story, and what a wild ride. Not only is there the heat that has been on a slow boil between Nari and Angus, but then there’s Lassiter. The serial killer was supposed to be dead, is he? Angus knows he is out there.. While in the previous books in this series, Angus and Nari have both been the anchors, now they are in the thick of the action, and there is no loss of action here, one page after the other, you’ve got to keep turning.

This book, the 4th in the series “Deep Ops” does not disappoint and raises the bar. Romantic suspense only begins to cover the depth and breadth of “Driven.” All the characters from the previous books are back, and it’s great to see them, feels like reuniting with an old friend. This was a page-turner, and Rebecca Zanetti once again did not disappoint. Take a break, read the book, be kind.

Angus and Nauri have been simmering for awhile now so I was ready to see where they are going. They have mutual respect and great chemistry so I knew it would be an entertaining read. I love that Nauri is an intelligent woman in her own right and brought that to the table. I love Rebecca Zanetti and this series is entertaining.

While this was an excellent book It is just different from what I am used to reading from Mrs. Zanetti. I am a big fan of all of her other series and this just goes to show that she can write outside of her usual genre. SO as this is not my go-to genre all I can say about it is that the writing is excellent, the action is well-paced, and there is some great humor sprinkled within.

So the undeniably unique Deep Ops team has a new challenge to face in this new story of betrayal, passion and deadly danger that will leave you shocked and terrified as you learn the truth that has eluded their leader for years. I loved this series from the very first book—though I didn’t much doubt loving any Zanetti story—and have just fallen more an more in love with it as the series went on. I’m not sure if it will end with Angus and Nari’s story, but if it does I can honestly say that it was and ending that will not leave you wanting in any way. Our story picks up right where the last one ended, but Angus and his team are being torn apart as their bosses sack the team and their time together runs out. Angus has been after a serial killer he knows is still alive but the rest of the world is dead, and he refuses to give up the hunt. Nari fears for his sanity, but at the same time she understands that his instincts and skills are enough that he might be on to something as his time finds themselves in the crosshairs of a copycat killer. Angus tries to push Nari away for her own safety but she sticks like a burr and soon the desire they have both been denying since they met explodes and they are left with the emotional and mental dangers that falling in love leaves them in and it makes Nari even more the target Angus was determined to keep her from becoming. Angus knows that their lives are all in danger until he can capture this killer that has been toying with him for years, but as the clock ticks down in his mind he can no longer deny he has fallen for Nari and needs her in his life. When she is captured by the psychotic bastard, Angus will do anything and risk everything to keep her safe, even if it costs his own life, but Nari is just as determined to protect the man she loves. Boy was this story full of CRAZY. I loved every single second of this story and there was not a single moment I wanted to put it down. Angus is a badass, but his doubts and fears on top of the years chasing and profiling psycho-killers have left him a little off and a lot on edge. He knows something is off with this killer, but he continues to be unable to place his finger fully on what it is, until it is almost too late. He is definitely intelligent, but his sweetness, dedication, and the way he cares for those he loves and counts as his people made me love him even more. And lets not forget he certainly owns the strangest, sweetest, and craziest dog in the world which just makes him cooler. Nari has lived her whole life trying to meet the unreachable standards her father sets, but that isn’t really the woman she wants to be, and the more time she spends with her new team the more she learns that woman is perfectly fine. She is smart, sassy, kickass, and sensual, but when she is standing up to and for her man and friends she is the best. I loved seeing her in action and kickass and taking names, but the best times were when she was able to remind Angus that he is more than just a hunter, that he is a man and the perfect match for the woman she is finding herself to be. The passion between these two has been simmering since the very first book and when it finally explodes the fire is as hot as a volcanic eruption, but underlying that is the friendship they have built, however reluctantly, and the emotional connection that will carry them through for all their years together. This series has been intriguing, fascinating and amazing from the very beginning and we have been waiting for Nari and Angus to finally admit their attraction and feelings for several books now, but I for one can tell you this story surpassed even my expectations with a truly unexpected villain and so many twists and turns along the way. The ending was sweet and seemed to bring the whole teams full circle in the best way and (if its fully over) gave us a glimpse of them building their lives together. I’m hoping their might be more in the series or a spinoff so we get to see these folks again, but if not I am fully satisfied to have enjoyed this whole series and know I will be back to visit again sometimes in the future. Another jewel in Zanetti’s collection.

No author has ever gotten their hooks in my attention like Rebecca Zanetti has with her Deep Ops series - a team of misfits and outcasts with their weird, quirky habits and their quest for justice & getting their HEA.

Driven is the 4th book in the series - and it’s time we finally get the deets on Angus Force; the grumpy and rude head of the Deep Ops team.

Nari, the team’s psychologist, is the smart, intelligent and the classy aspect that looked so out of turn with the Force’s team.

Angus’s tortured past had me almost sobbing for the man - his obsession with a serial killer that he knew wasn’t dead; and in the face of everyone believing that he has lost his mind, the strength that required had me cheering for the man.

Nari’s revelation of the reasons why she was working for the team and her past was a surprise - but it shouldn’t have been. Zanetti does her best work with three dimensional characters and Nari was no exception at all.

Full of action, wonderful appearances from the some very beloved characters of the team and the climax had me sitting up - because I did not see that coming!

As always, if you love romantic suspense filled with some amazing banter, intriguing plotline and characters to root for, then this book and this series is a definite must read!

Driven by Rebecca Zanetti is the fourth novel in the Deep Ops series. The novel follows Angus Force in his hunt for a serial killer that keeps slipping through his fingers and his fierce need and protection of the killer’s newest fixation, his colleague—Nari Zhang. Zanetti’s novel is fast-paced, action-packed and intense with a wonderful tension and connection between the main characters. You will be completely invested and not be able to stop reading until the story is complete. If you are looking for a romantic suspense that keeps you on the edge of your seat—Driven by Rebecca Zanetti is the book for you. I highly recommend this novel and the rest of her Deep Ops series.

Nari’s story is perfect. Tension, suspense, romance, and lots of danger. Everyone is back, including the villain who supposedly died. This isn’t really a spoiler, so don’t cringe when you read this! I do recommend reading the other books. You’ll enjoy this book more.

Driven is the perfect culmination to the Deep Ops series! It had even more suspense than the prior books, and I have to say that the way the mystery unfolded left me surprised and satisfied at the same time. The sexual chemistry was also extremely strong, I could feel it while reading it.
The plot was very well executed, and I loved the writing. The character development (from the start of the first book up until now) was so well done, and I have to say that I enjoyed the growth of the characters as much as I enjoyed the story, the plot and the mystery parts.

I loved the characters and the storyline development of this book. It was absolutely one of my favorites so far and I can't wait to delve in to the next one that this author writes. The storyline was simple, enjoyable, and entertaining.

Will the past ever stay buried? Angus knows that he has to move on from the past but he knows that Lassiter is still alive. But his team has been disbanded and he finds that he wants to spend more time with their shrink Nari but they just can't keep their hands off each other. Their sexual chemistry is off the chart but will Angus be able to keep them out of the crosshairs of a deranged killer?
I love reading about the team & how their lives have grown. They are all one big family that will always have each other's backs. Another great read in the series. Everything that you want in a good book.
I was lucky enough to receive a copy from Netgalley & publisher in exchange for my honest review.

Angus and Nari have been dancing around each other from the start of the Deep Ops series. They finally get their HEA while dealing with a sociopath serial killer. Driven is full of action, mystery and a sexy romance. Great main characters are supported by interesting and fun secondary characters. I’m hoping there’s a least one more book in the series, I have an idea who the next couple could be.

Driven has been on my Netgalley TBR but I grabbed the audiobook from the library because I really enjoy Roger Wayne’s delivery of the characters and story in the series.
