This book is a heart pounding blend of suspense, emotion and quirky humour. I was utterly engrossed from the first page to the last. Though I’m not usually a fan of romantic suspense, I can’t get enough of this series. The characters are original and three dimensional with their own unique personality quirks and flaws that make the book unforgettable. Without giving anything away, there are some major plot twists in this book that really keep you guessing, right to the end. Just brilliant!

Loved Drive. Rebecca is an amazing writer world builder. I love the way she describes the settings and the emotion she puts into each word she writes. I love this series and I truly hope we see more of these books.

I knew Angus and Nari would combust like that!

We've gotten hints over the last few books that Angus and Nari were attracted to each other but didn't/couldn't do anything about it. Well, as the team's hunt for Lassiter comes to its climax, we find the team is kind of in disarray and struggling to keep things together. Angus finds himself as both a hunter of a killer and a suspect of gruesome murders. Nari is coming to terms with her place in the world and what she truly wants in life. As the world comes crashing down on them, Angus and Nari fight together and for each other through it all. Definitely did not see the case wrapping up the way it did though!

I've really enjoyed this series because it has some quirky personalities, fierce lovers, and ladies who can take care of business. I'm thinking we have 2 more stories maybe? And possibly some new team members? We will have to wait and see!

I was so worried the relationship between Nari and Angus in DRIVEN wouldn’t live up to my expectations after three books of building sexual tension. I am happy to report that not only did Rebecca Zanetti meet my expectations, she also knocked them out of the park! Zanetti has been masterfully weaving the romance and the building “is he dead or isn’t he dead” serial killer plot the entirety of this series. It all explodes in an action-packed ride of a romantic suspense novel.

While both Angus and Nari had been central secondary characters in previous books, their book added layers to their attraction outside the physical. Both characters are driven (get it??) in their own ways and mesh well as a couple on so many levels. Their adrenaline-laced relationship is only deepened by the soft, tender, and funny moments Zanetti throws in. Who knew gruff, bossy, monosyllabic Angus would throw out romantic one-liners that would melt my heart?

Of course, the gang is all back. Wolfe is still my favorite comedic relief character, although Roscoe gave him a run for his money; I love that dog! I have no idea where the series will go from here, Zanetti has left herself an open path, but I will follow wherever she leads!

Overall, if you want to start this series from the beginning (which I highly recommend), grab HIDDEN and fall in love with these characters from book one. If you want to jump in with DRIVEN, I support your life choices, and I think you’ll still have a blast! Nari and Angus are easy to root for and Zanetti’s writing shines like always.

Really good steamy romantic thriller, but I wish I had started from book one in this series.

While Driven is the fourth installment in this series, it was my first book by this author. I'm not gonna lie, I wish I had read the others first instead of starting from here in order to get a full picture and sense of characters. There was never a moment where I was completely confused about what's going on, but it's clear that there were some backstories I had no clue about. In addition, while Zanetti does a great job introducing the characters already so well-known by avid reader of this series, I did have an underlying feeling that I was missing out on some facts and stories.

Nonetheless, once I got a hand of the plot and the characters, the book blew my mind! Turns out I'm a massive fan of the combination of romance and thriller. When I read fiction, I want to feel something intense - and Driven certainly provides this experience. I really liked the twists, and most importantly the sex scenes, although I wished there were more of them in this book.

I received this book via NetGalley and have agreed to leave an honest opinion.

This book is part of the Deep Ops series and can be read as a standalone. This story is about Angus and Nari. Angus is the head of the team and Nari is a Psychologist placed with the team. Angus is so full of anger and frustration. He also wants Nari but cannot due to his emotional state. Nari doesn't talk much about herself or why she is with the team but she takes her job seriously and encourages all to talk to her if needed.

Angus' sister was killed by a serial killer, Henry Lassiter, and he is determined to stop him for good. Six years ago, he thought he killed Lassiter when they basically had a gunfight where Angus was injured badly but recently women are being killed and they all resemble women on his team. He swears Lassiter is alive but none above him believe him.

Is this Lassiter killing and leaving messages for Angus. Will Angus and Nari find their way to one another? Will they survive?

Even after Angus' team is disbanded by the HDD (a secretive agency) he will not stop looking. His team plans on being right there with him. I loved reading about the rest of the team again, which have been in past books in this series.

I felt so bad for Angus. At first even Nari didn't believe him when he said Lassiter was alive but soon she did and was totally supportive of him. This of course brings them much closer. As the bodies pile up, it is Angus, Nari and his loyal team against the Feds.

This book has quite a twist at the end and a was really good story. I have been waiting for Angus" story for awhile!

This story blew me away it was so good. I liked how the author was able to take such a small idea and make it into an awesome story. Good characters and dialogue helped move this along quite nicely. Driven is another winner for Ms. Zanetti.

Driven brings a little squeal of delight as Angus Force and Nari Zhang's story finally lands in my hands. Through the last three books, the chemistry between Deep Ops leader, Angus and team shrink Nari has been off the charts. With the pages smoldering, Angus and Nari finally get their day in the sun much to this reader's delight. The Deep Ops team is disassembled just as Angus's old enemy rears his ugly head and begins a new killing spree. Circumstantial evidence places Angus as everyone's leading suspect as danger comes calling. Determined to protect Nari at all cost, Angus plans to stay close but things get a whole lot closer between the two in an action packed, heat filled story that cannot be put down as Angus becomes the epitome of all things manly. Nari is strong willed and tough for Angus's perfect match and my favorite love story in the series that is totally addicting. My voluntary, unbiased review is based upon a review copy from Netgalley.

Wonderful new book in this series. Full of mystery, action, romance and humor. I have been waiting to read the story about Angus and of course more with Roscoe. This dog steals the book with his love for alcohol and heels. Highly recommended

Obsessed, semi-intoxicated and very irritated that he keeps getting shot at and possibly arrested - the last thing he needs is feelings for the tiny shrink that has haunted him for the last year. But after one night with her and the fact that they are definitely in the crosshairs of a serial killer - Angus Force knows he can't stay away from Nari Zhang.

Wow. Honestly - I devoured this in a single sitting (and it isn't a short read) This was everything that is brilliant in a Zanetti book. Fast-paced, intriguing, and flawed characters and not to mention - so freaking steamy! Angus is the dark and tortured bad boy who is really sick of being accused of things he didn't do. Nari is brilliant and beautiful and badass from page one. And after watching these two dance around each other for the last few books - it was a blast to watch them actually have to confront them! Not to mention - fun to see the rest of the misfit island that is Deep Ops (and pets!)

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

I have been anxiously awaiting Angus's book and it was worth it! His chemistry with Nari is off the charts sexy. I love the way their relationship has been building up to this. Nari is the perfect woman for him to fall in love with. She gets him, and his crazy dog.
The hunt is on for a killer that is taunting the team. Angus is convinced it's Lassiter. He has a lot stacked against him, especially the agency. The case is action packed, full of suspense, and the reveal will blow you away. I never saw it coming.
All your favorite characters make appearances. The romance is steamy and intense. The case is intriguing. There are the perfect doses of humor. There is a lot to love in this one. I really hope we get another in this series. There is a certain Brit I would love to know more about.

This tale picks up where the previous book left off. Angus is convinced that Lassiter, a serial killer, is still alive. Lassiter is toying with Angus and trying to kill him and maybe his team. The feds believe Angus is to blame. The only one in his corner is Nari. This is a continuation of the series but can be read as a standalone. The gang is all here. It is an action packed filled ride that will leave you gasping. There is also an excerpt from Benny's tale.

I have been waiting for Angus and Nari's book for a while now and it did not disappoint! This is book 4 of the series and I would not recommend reading it until you've read the first 3.

Angus Force is the leader of a ragtag group of Agents. He was fired from the FBI years ago. Force has been convinced that the serial killer he shot while working with the FBI is still alive. Once a body is found that has a similar MO as Lassiter's, Force hops on the case. Is it Lassiter or a copy cat killer?

Nari is the psychologist assigned to Force's unit. The tension between the two has been building for the last 3 books. Once they start working on this case together, they finally give in to this tension. Not much is known about Nari's background before this book, so I was excited to learn more about her.

Roscoe is just as loveable as ever and a great supporting character even though he is a dog.

The characters have great chemistry and there is action in almost every chapter of this book. I couldn't put it down because I had to see what happened. What was really going on was a completely surprise, which I loved because a lot of books can be pretty predictable. We get to see the rest of the gang in this book and the author left it open to where I think there could be another book or two in the series.

I absolutely loved this book! Intrigue, suspense, action, sexy times, romance...this book has it all! And with Roscoe around you know there is humor! I have been waiting to read Angus and Nari's story and this book was worth the wait!! Rebecca Zanetti proves once again that she knows how to hook readers from page one! You're going to love this book!

I have been looking forward to Angus and and Nari's book and it did not disappoint.

Just when Angus has time to really look into Lassiter, the seriel killer he supposedly killed, the deal he made with the HDD is up and they come to close his office down and reassign some. Even Nari cannot believe it. But make no mistake that is not the end for this team.

But with each new death the evidence is adding up and isn't against Lassiter. Will they be able to stop him before one of their own is put away?

Nari is a psychologist and works for a secret government agency, HDD, part of Homeland Security. Angus was a former FBI agent and now is the leader of the ragtag team of former agents, soldiers, and cops. When his sister is killed by a serial killer, Lassiter, he shoots and kills him but he believes he’s still alive. The team has been disbanded because he couldn’t find evidence of Lassiter being alive. Women are being murdered and they have a striking resemblance to each of the women in their group. Angus believes it’s Lassiter but the cops and HDD agents thinks he’s cracked and he’s the killer. Together, Angus and Nari and the rest of the team, hope to find the killer before he kills again.

So very good. I could not stop reading it. All the team players are back including Roscoe, the alcoholic dog. Sex scenes that’ll leave you needing a cold shower. Action and suspense. It is a must read!!
