I just loved this book! Angus Force and Nari Zhang finally got their story and it was a doozy. There were so many twists and turns to this book. The writing is clever and I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced free copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.

Nari and Angus have a lot to overcome in this novel. Most importantly, they need to find a serial killer who may have come back from the dead. Or maybe, this serial killer is just a copycat killer doing a gruesome job in leading this team to a disastrous end. They've been fired from their jobs, they had a team scattered to the wind and they are being accused of actually being the killers and yet all they want to do is pull together and be together. Why is the world making this so difficult when being together is what feels right?
I love the chemistry between Nari and Angus. I love how they are stronger together and how even as serious as this goal is for them, Ms. Zanetti sure can make me laugh. Don't miss this Deep Ops book. It's amazing.

It started really slow and in a way I just kept on reading because it can be considered the last one, but the second half of the book is really fast paced and in a way a surprise!

Anche se parte lento e sono andata avanti solo perché é il finale della serie, la seconda parte cambia e diventa veramente un susseguirsi di avvenimenti e colpi di scena!

THANKS NETGALLEY FOR THE PREVIEW!

Finally we get Angus Force front and center. They all think he’s crazy. He’s obsessed with a serial killer who is dead.

“You ever wonder why we don’t like each other?”

“Because you’re an asshole?” she burst out. His chuckle was low and dark. “That’s only part of it. The other part, my pretty shrink, is that we see right through each other. To the soul.”

These characters are like old friends come back to visit. Roscoe is is fine form but a little more subdued.

“Are you nuts? Our team is full of hotheads who do nothing but defy me. Sometimes Wolfe defies the laws of physics.”

Angus and Nari finally let there walls down and it’s explosive.

There is a big twist and if this is the last book it was a great way to end this series.

Angus and Nari are my next favorite investigative team after Eve and Roarke.

Angus Force was the best profiler at the FBI once upon a time but losing his sister to a depraved serial killer pushed him over the edge. A serial killer that Angus killed when he finally located him. A night where Angus was shot and seriously wounded himself. Five years had passed, Angus may have been forced out of the FBI and crawled deep into a bottle of whiskey, but he is certain that Henry Wayne Lassiter isn’t really dead. Homeland Security wants Angus to stop poking into the Lassiter case and the night Angus killed him. Angus bargained for one year working under the HDD jurisdiction, and a team to back him up, to prove Lassiter is still alive and take him down once again. The problem is that one year goes rather fast when your team is busy breaking up cults, the Irish mob, and stopping mass bombings. And now that one year is up and Angus Force hasn’t produced a living Henry Lassiter, so the HDD is closing down the Deep Ops team.

Why, once the team is shut down, do bodies suddenly start turning up which look like the work of Lassiter. Except the victims aren’t the leggy blonds that Lassiter prefers. No, the bodies all have a strong resemblance to the women on Angus’s team. While it looks like the work of Henry Lassiter, something isn’t adding up. So is it Lassiter or is Angus looking at a copycat and one who knows way too much about both the original murders and the people on Angus’s team.

Angus wants to keep the people he has come to trust and respect as far away from this as possible, but after several attempts are made by someone to kill Angus, Angus has to face the reality that he needs help to figure out who is trying to kill him and to catch this killer before he finishes killing substitutes and starts grabbing Angus’s team.

Angus is running out of time since not only has someone made a grab for Nari but the police are starting to wonder if this is simply a case of a former FBI agent trying to recreate his own success. Now instead of working with the Police, they are trying to put together enough evidence to arrest Angus for multiple murders, and if that happens, there will be no one to protect Nari when the killer tries again.

Angus and Nari’s story is one I have wanted from the beginning not only because there was always something quietly buzzing between these two but because I wanted to know if Angus was right about the night he killed Lassiter. I worried because sometimes the book you most desperately want ends up being a disappointment. I have to say that Driven gets five stars across the board. For romance, Nari and Angus sizzle as a couple. Storywise, the action just kept going. And as far as a crime drama, the various investigations into who is after Angus? Who is after Nari? Is Lassiter alive or dead? Is there a copycat and where would they even start looking? Is there someone feeding information about Angus and his team to a killer? It was so hard to sleep with all of these questions whirling around my brain. I really started looking at each character and wondering if Lassiter got plastic surgery, could this be him? Maybe this person is the copycat killer, they know enough about the case and Angus. Would this person betray Angus and feed information to a serial killer? I was absolutely sucked into this story and I was stressing about what was going to happen next.

I love this series. I love all the characters, especially all their flaws. Their flaws gives them depth and dimension. Stories with a bunch of super soldiers gets boring. Each of these characters have been damaged in some way because of the work they do and yet they push on and get the job done. This makes them so interesting, so relatable and so real. This is truly my second favorite investigative group. Sorry, I have too much invested in the J.D. Robb In Death series after 51 books, but like the In Death series, the Deep Ops series uses the combined efforts of a group of individuals who each bring some special skill to bring down the criminal. This book won’t be published until January 2021, which gives you plenty to time to start the series, but at this point, there is no indication if there will be any more books in the series since the main characters have all found their HEA.

If Rebecca Zanetti or Kensington publishing find this review, all I can say to them is that I would absolutely buy more books featuring these characters whether they are told by new characters entering the series or if they are simply told by shifting between the characters we have already met depending on who would be the main focus of an investigation. However you would want to do it. I really do not want to give up these characters. They are way too good to be put on the shelf and left there.

I have been patiently waiting for Angus and Nari's story. And it's finally (or about to be) here!!!

After seeing hints of their sexual tension through the first couple of books in the series, you could just tell that their story, and the conclusion to figuring out if Lassiter is still alive, was going to be packed full of action. And I can tell you, it definitely was!!

I so hope that RZ writes more for this series. I would love to see the professor find his love match and maybe a scene of Dana giving birth, and Wolfe possibly losing his cool lol

I voluntarily read this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Finally! We get to Angus. The man at the head of it all. We find out allt he secrets and get to watch as his walls crack around his heart.

Fans of the series will be thrilled with how this all plays out. Twists I know you didn't even think about when you envisioned Angus' nemesis. Holy cow! Parse out some time because you will want to read this one straight through.

I loved getting to know both Nari and Angus. They have been on the fringe as part of the team in the series. In this book we get to see their back story and look into what makes them perfect together.

Loved the wrap up. Loved seeing all the couples come together to support these two. Perfect ending.

I have been waiting for this book since Angus first came on the scene in the very first book of this series, him and his dog. And Nari, after the last book, I was super intrigued with her and wanted to know her story. This book did not disappoint. It was intense, fast paced, and had twists and turns in it I did not see coming. I could not put the book down. My favorite scenes though are when the team is all together, their interactions and funny moments. I hope we get more in this series.

Oh man, I wasn’t sure…. I questioned how this book was going to go…. But this was also the one book I was so excited about…. I mean how are you not. Washed up alcoholic FBI profiler with an alcoholic side kick dog.

A man who is completely obsessed with a serial killer he shot and killed years ago, but swears he is still alive. All the evidence says he is a dead, everyone involved says he is dead.. Is he though?

Angus thought he was dead. I mean he pulled the damn trigger. But he also got shot at the same time. A year before he put this team together he got a tip that the crazy AF serial killer he profiled, became obsessed with, that ended up killing his sister before he finally killed him himself, might actually be alive.

Nari was assigned to Angus’ team as the resident psychologist to make sure all these crazy fuckers don’t get any crazier (good luck girl, I hope you got a raise). Nari has her own shit happening between family, work and an ex. But this girl is a badass!!

These two have sexual tension from the freaking start!! But they also very much don’t get along, because Angus hates shrinks and while he wants to bang the shit out of Nari, he won’t get close enough to her because he doesn’t want her to “fix” his crazy.

Angus’ obsession with Lassiter (our serial killer) is what brought this entire team together, but he only had 1 year to prove that Lassiter was alive and that year ended a week ago…..

Now a week after the deadline bodies are being found, that all look mysterious like the women on Angus’ team. The first being the cute little shrink that he is trying so hard to avoid.

What do you do when your obsession starts to target the one woman you have been fighting against getting close to. You do what you swore you wouldn’t ever do and get friendly with your little shrink.

These two are really a great couple. Their chemistry is awesome, banter even better. The way they handle each other's neuroses. Guys, I will tell you, this is not an insta-love book, insta-attraction yes, but it was building for the 3 books prior! Its a little on the slow-burn and this couple takes a hot minute to talk their shit out and get on the same page, but you will enjoy watching them figure it out.

This book is so much more than just a romance. It has everything you want in a mystery romance. You won’t know what happens until it happens.

Of course we can’t forget about our amazing Roscoe. Sadly he did not get hammered or wear any heels in this book. But he is one fierce protector.

I have voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this title given to me via NetGalley. This book was just amazing. I just lost myself in this story and didn’t want it to end. It was really well written and just drew in you into these characters lives. I look forward to seeing what’s next from this author.

So just gonna say I did not realize this was the last book in the series until just now. WOW! I'm so lucky i can go back and start this riseries, I absolutely loved this book. The story kept me intrigued , the chemistry made me want more. and the action kept me on the edge of my seat .
Angus Force and Nari Zheng’s story is really great he is obsessed with catching a serial killer who was pronounced dead. Nari is the ragtag team's psychologist. and has the serous hots for Angus, And Angus would love to mess Nari hair in the most intimate of ways.
The story is full of action and intrigue and what a ride Driven takes you on.
Pick this book up and get it's friends.
Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC in exchange for a honest review

What an excellent conclusion to the Deep Ops series! (Although I wouldn't be opposed to getting Jethro's story. Please, pretty please!).

Driven brings us Angus Force's story, and it has been awaited since the beginning. I didn't actually read the first book of the series, but I have read every one since. Let me tell you, you would not be amiss to read them. Each story focused on a different team member or members, and they were great.

I think I have to call this one my favorite of them all. Angus and Nari were each a bit of an enigma throughout the other books, so I was more than ready to dive into their story. It was full of action from the start, and I just wanted to keep flipping through the pages.

Rebecca Zanetti did a wonderful job of wrapping things up in Driven. Angus' obsession with Lassiter came to its realization. The team pulled together even more. Angus and Nari brought the heat. Roscoe continued to be a unique, yet endearing sidekick. It was all there.

I am not ready to say goodbye to the Deep Ops team! PLEASE tell me there will be more in the series!!!! I want to see the babies being born and see the relationships continue! We need to see the English Professors story! That being said I did enjoy this book and getting to learn Angus and N's story and see them together FINALLY as a couple! I also really enjoyed that it was a longer book!

I read this book cover to cover. I was anxiously awaiting this book-especially with all the build up surrounding Lassiter in the previous books. Angus' story didn't disappoint. This book had so much action, twists and turns. Plus it was steamy. I love how this team is so loyal and funny! They really have each others backs! Great read and great addition to the series!!

‘Driven’ is the final book in the ‘Deep Ops’ series and we get Angus Force and Nari Zheng’s story. You definitely need to read the other books in the series not only to fully understand the characters but also to understand the story of Angus and his obsession with a dead serial killer. Angus believes the serial killer he shot dead over 7 years ago is alive and killing again. And this time all the victims look like female members of his team. With the help of the rest of the Deep Op’s team Angus and Nari race to figure out the killers next move before it’s too late.
I loved the romance between Angus and Nari. These two have been dancing around each other since book one, so it was great to finally get their story and delve into their relationship. And Roscoe the dog! He’s been one of my favourite characters throughout the entire series. Who wouldn’t love a dog like him.
I felt the suspense part of the romantic suspense storyline was really good until the very last bit of the book. I thought the whole ‘big reveal’ moment was pretty unbelievable. It didn’t make any sense to me. I felt the ending was rushed and could have done with more of a detailed explanation. It was a little disappointing, especially as this was the last book in the series. A 3.5 star read for me.

Driven is Book 4 of the Deep Ops series and is focused on the team leader, Angus Force. Force has been obsessed with serial killer, Henry Lassiter, since the beginning of the series. Force is sure Lassiter is still alive after their last encounter, where they shot each other, but evidence points to Lassiter being dead. No one believes Force and think he has gone off the deep end. Until women resembling the women on the team begin to show up dead. The team's psychologist, Nari Zhang, gives up fighting her attraction to Angus and helps him decipher the clues left by the killer.

Each book in this series is a stand alone but the I recommend reading them in order to see the developing camaraderie of the ragtag crew and the hilariousness of Roscoe the dog and Kat the kitten.

The author does a great job of completing the Force/Lassiter storyline that has been broached but not revealed in other books. Lots of twists and turns with shootouts, dead bodies, look-alikes and old nemeses make for an engaging storyline and some colourful and interesting characters make it fun to read. Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher and author for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Finally the book I've been waiting on. Angus and Nari have been circling each other over the course of this series. When these two give into the chemistry its explosive. This book also gives more details into Angus's story and how his mind works and what drives him. A few great twists bring this book to a great conclusion.

Well, this was quite a ride.
I usually love romantic suspense novels when they're executed well, but as this was my first time reading a Deep Ops book, I was kind of thrown in the middle of it all, and it took me a while to get into this. As the attraction between Nari and Angus has probably been simmering during the other books in this series, I didn't really feel a connection between them aside from a physical one.
I also thought the pacing was a bit off sometimes, especially the ending felt very rushed. I also feel like it didn't make a lot of sense, but that might just be me not being completely into the story and Angus' background with Lassiter.
All in all, this was a nice read. Roscoe was my favorite character of them all. I'd continue reading this series just for him!

Finally, Nari and Angus's story and what a heart pumping, thrilling romantic suspense that I can't even put into words that will do this book justice kind of story! This book was AMAZING! Flat out exciting!

We finally get the conclusion to Lassiter and what a crazy, adrenaline pumping adventure it was too. Angus is more scrumptious and hard headed and incredible than I first imagined while Nari is a kick-ass heroine that knows how to fight and has a sweetness that I found wonderfully charming. These two had the most sigh-worthy chemistry that I have seen yet with these Deep Ops couples. The story had a number of unexpected twists and turns with romance that made my heart happy. And I loved the light humor that was also woven into the plot as well. This is by far the most epic romantic suspense in the series and it was EVERYTHING!

Driven gets a THRILLING FIVE HEART THUMPING STARS! I am officially #TeamAngus!
