Fill my shelves with short fiction anthologies! I love these collections for a few reasons: 1) they give my students broad access to a variety of authors, 2) they provide short bursts of texts for my more reluctant readers, &3) they’re a great way to try a new genre or style without making a huge commitment to an entire text.

This collection kept me up all night reading the selections. Some of the stories are better developed than others, but the overall offerings were perfect to bring to my students. This will get top billing in my room when it debuts!

I think a lot of teens will like and relate to this compilation of short stories of being up all night. Some definitely took turns I wasn't expecting. I know as a teen there were a few nights where I got up to mischief myself and was "up all night".
I read this over the course of a few days but it is one you can come back to and don't have to read all at once.
