Been DYING for a strawberry cookbook and this is absolute perfection!! Thank you netgalley for this treat! I’m purchasing a hardcover now!!

This was a book of two halves. I have 3 strawberry loving boys & I can definitely see myself making several of these sweet treats for them. The summer birthday cake with pink marshmallow buttercream & strawberry creamsicles are two that particularly stood out & I know they wouldn't last 5 minutes in our house.

However, the savoury options left me cold: Hamburger sliders? Fish Tacos? These can remain safely in the book.

I found the introduction informative & will aim to only strawberry pick in the mornings from now on. The pictures, despite being in black & white on my kindle, looked appetising & appealing. It would have been good to have grams as well as cups as measurements.

Great photos, straightforward recipes, and great ideas! I can't wait to try out the strawberry cream-filled chocolate roll and the skillet strawberry-chocolate chip cookie .

This book was received as an ARC from Storey Publishing in exchange for an honest review. Opinions and thoughts expressed in this review are completely my own.

I absolutely loved this cookbook in the sense it focused on my favorite fruit of all time strawberries. I was so fascinated by the recipes and how every recipe had a corresponding picture. I can't wait to try the small batch strawberry jam, the strawberry tart and I just found a new way to enjoy a burger (with strawberries on top). My freezer is jam packed with strawberries and now I have some brilliant ideas to use them and I love it when I stumble around a cookbook like that.

We will consider adding this title to our TX Cookbook collection at our library. That is why we give this book 5 stars.

Easy to hard recipes. Wonderful because this book is available in kindle format.

There's nothing like fresh picked strawberries. And strawberries to me always indicate the beginning of summer. This book had some great sounding recipes and some beautiful photos that made me excited. I'm especially interested in the more savory recipes in this book since I'm very familiar with the sweet. I look forward to revisiting this book during strawberry season.

A lovely cookbook with lots of great recipes for strawberries. I read this just a little late for strawberry season this year but have lots saved for next year to try. Very cool that there was a mix of savoury recipes too!
Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for providing me with an arc for an honest review.

Thank you to NetGalley for an ARC of Strawberry Love.

I enjoy strawberries (though not as much as I love blueberries) but I was pleased when my request was approved.

This is a great book on all things strawberries and I enjoyed it.

There's a little bit of everything; plenty of sweets and cakes, but also sweet with savory (which I'm not a fan of but the recipes looked tasty).

Recipes are easy to follow and ingredients easy to find as well, perhaps not like it used to be during our pandemic times so stock up on flour and sugar because you will want to try all the recipes.

Photographs came through pretty well on my Kindle.

I hope the author writes more books focused on a specific fruit. I have a suggestion: Mangoes!

As a vegetarian,I found some of the recipes here of no use to me.But nonetheless, the other ones are nice.

Not a big fan of cookbooks, but the pictures here are mouthwatering.
3.5/5 stars.

Strawberries are a summer favourite so it’s no wonder the entire book is dedicated to it. Many of the recipes are sweet breakfast ideas and desserts, including many of the classics such as waffles, ice cream, cakes, syrup and biscuits.
What caught my eye were the savoury recipes incorporating strawberry in a way I had never tried – and was a little dubious about. But I am now a big fan of tacos with Strawberry Salsa!
There are some other neat ideas such as cakes and cookies made in a skillet which is a great alternative to traditional oven cooking!
Definitely worth a look if you like strawberries, be it for breakfast, lunch, or happy hour. I loved having a good, clear introduction explaining all the terms used and materials needed (no US to UK confusion!) as well as the beautiful pictures from every recipe – after all, seeing mouth-watering food is what inspires you to head to the kitchen.

Strawberry Love is a beautifully presented collection of recipes developed and collected by Cynthia Graubart.Due out 27th April 2021 from Storey, it's 104 pages and will be available in paperback and ebook formats.
The first "real" homegrown strawberries of the season are always heavenly. We look forward to summer for our sweet perfect local berries. The season never seems to last long enough, but most years I manage to put up enough jam and pie fillings and frozen berries to last us until midwinter at least.

This little book is packed full of colorful appealing strawberries featured in a surprisingly creative and varied number of recipes both sweet and savory. The introduction contains some good tips on handling strawberries and general info on freezing, storing, and using them efficiently and with minimum waste. The following chapters contain the recipes, arranged roughly thematically: breakfasty things, savory recipes, and desserts.

The recipes have an introduction header description with ingredients listed bullet style in a sidebar. Ingredient measures are given in US standard only followed by step by step directions. Required ingredients are easily sourced and will be available at any well stocked grocery store. There are some gluten free and vegan friendly recipes included.

The photography and food styling are exceptionally well done and attractive. I found myself flipping through the recipes and having trouble deciding what I wanted to try first - they all look really good. In the end, we tried the strawberry lemon jam and the creamsicles. Both recipes were easy to follow and gave good results.

Four stars. This is a must have for gardeners (or readers with a pick-your-own farm within driving distance) who are looking for ways to use up those glorious delicious harbingers of summertime.

Disclosure: I received an ARC at no cost from the author/publisher for review purposes.

Review to come April 2021 on blog/goodreads.

I received this book from Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.

I love strawberries, I love cooking/baking, so this book was a match made in heaven for me. And that cover. It is a good thing it an ebook, otherwise I may have licked or nibbled the cover. :P

This, as the title also states, has 45 yummy delicious recipes all featuring strawberries. From making jam (with also clear instructions on how to clean jars) to waffles with strawberries to milkshakes to well.. many other delicious and making my stomach rumble in delight recipes. Well, OK, not all where delicious, or at least I don't think strawberries on hamburgers sound very yummy, or chicken breasts with strawberry onion jam. Maybe they are, if I get the chance to try them, I would definitely do that.
And like all cookbooks, I have to do some editing on a couple of recipes as they contain nuts. I would so love a nut-free book for once.

The recipes can be difficult or long but there are also plenty of short recipes which don't require a lot of time or ingredients. All recipes are written clearly and are easy to follow.

I like that on the sides is what kind of recipe it is. That makes it easy when one is flipping through the book. You can just search for the sides for the one you want. We got drinks, savory delights, and more.

Almost all recipes have a photograph included, I really loved those and I loved how homely and warm it all felt. This may sound weird, in my head it sounded much better, but what I mean is, in some cooking books it is all boring or stiff or looks like something out of a restaurant.

And I have to mention this as MANY US cookbooks don't do it, this one also adds the Celsius! How often I have had to try and use Google calculator to find out what temperature I should set my oven and then pray it was the right one. :P
Now all I have to do is convert cups/ounces to what we use here (grams and such), oh and inches to centimetres. But the important oven is at least done.

All in all, this was a yummy book and I would definitely recommend it. If I can locate the book I may also add it to my collection of cookbooks.

After reading through this cookbook I so wish it were strawberry season. Strawberries are one of my favorite fruits and I can't wait until they are ripe to go to the local farm to get fresh ones. Now I will have plenty of new recipes to try out. This cookbook has step by step directions on how to prepare each recipe. There's little bit of strawberry history included. How to pick, store, and hull the strawberries. There's plenty of recipes for the strawberry lover whether they want sweet or savory, breakfast or dinner.

Strawberry Love by Cynthia Graubart was sweet and to the point.

I appreciated that the introduction was quick and simple. There were some helpful tips given such as substitutions and weight of flour equivalent to a cup of flour.

Each of the recipes looks and sounds amazing. This is the first cookbook I have ever had, where I have wanted to make every single item in it.

The photos were pretty as well.

I would easily recommend this book, and I plan on buying it when it comes out.

I received an eARC from Storey Publishing through NetGalley. All opinions are 100% my own.

This has to be one of the better cookbooks I have seen where its sole focus is on strawberries. Things like cake, hand pies, layer cake and tarts are really the highlight. Other daring dishes like fish tacos, chicken or pork made me a little leery. However, im willing to take the risk. The food photography is bright and cheery and really made the recipes come alive and practically JUMP off the page.

What a stunner of a cookbook! Would make a great summer gift for a birthday or a housewarmimg party.

Thank you to NetGalley for this free ARC in exchange for my honest review.
