The Wedding Game is a great fun read. I loved Luna. She is super crafty. Alec is a lawyer and he doesn't like romance and weddings. Both are on The Wedding Game TV show. They are both very competitive and they argue and bicker a lot but it's funny at times. Luna is sassy and fun where Alec is focused and determined but still fun. If your looking for some romance with laughs then this one is for you.

Luna is an expert crafter. When she has the opportunity to join a reality TV show to create a DIY wedding, she enters her brother and his fiance in the show to help them win the contest and gain an upgraded New York apartment as the top prize.

When Luna shows up, she encounters Alec, who believes that she's an assistant and demands she find him coffee. He's a divorce lawyer who is there to try and repair his relationship with his brother who is also a contestant on the show.

Luna and Alec run into each other at the local diner and trade insults, he continues to make her life hell and she's making him equally as frustrated. In desperation, he searches for Luna on social media to get ideas for his brother to help improve their performance on the next DIY challenge, and she ends up discovering that her new follower is Alec. Feeling sorry for him, she offers to help him.

This is a true enemies to lovers story with the typical hilarity you would expect from Meghan Quinn. It also includes the added family relationships and outrageous side characters she's known for. Enjoyed this one and hoping that Luna's roommate gets her own story soon!

Meghan Quinn delivers a sweet, funny and light read with The Wedding Game. The characters are extremely likeable and I love their fierce competitiveness towards each other, but watching them realize their feelings were growing into something so much more was the best of all. Great read.

5 star review of The Wedding Game by Meghan Quinn

Meghan Quinn has given us another fun, entertaining story that had me laughing out loud to the point of tears. When I read the blurb for The Wedding Game it intrigued me, just the idea of a divorce lawyer in competition with an over the top crafter on a wedding reality show caught my imagination.
The competition between Luna Rossi and Alec Baxter is as intense and their chemistry. They both agree to compete with their family on the show along with another team and when the sparks turn to attraction, loyalties will be tested.
I really loved Luna, she is sassy, feisty and fun and was so easy to like, whilst Alec is funny, focused and determined to help his brother win the competition. One of the things I loved the most is that love of family is at the heart of this story.

The Wedding Game is an entertaining story that is not only funny, but steamy as well. This book gave me all the feels and is one of my favourite books from Meghan Quinn.

Meghan Quinn knows how to write laugh out loud romantic comedies! Luna & Alec is the next Meghan Quinn couple that goes on one hilarious journey that had this reader laughing out loud.

I absolutely adored Luna & Alec! Their banter alone makes this book. I loved the funny moments & also at the same time loved the moments that were full of heart.

I can’t wait to see what Meghan Quinn comes up with next!

I voluntarily reviewed this book.

This author never fails to bring the humor in a romantic comedy! I was laughing out loud and these hilarious characters and the Wedding Game reality competition TV show they participate in. Luna and Alec are each participating in the competition to help their brothers plan their dream wedding and win a penthouse in NYC. The competition is such a wild ride and so much fun!

Alec and Luna had some amazing snarky banter, humor, and their chemistry was undeniable. They had a bit of a hate to friends to lovers romance, and I loved the way their story went. Plus, their siblings were fabulous additions to the story!

If you're looking for a hilarious rom-com, make sure to check this one out!

Grateful to have received a complimentary ARC copy to honestly review.

The book started out a little slow to me but I was quickly sucked in. I chuckled a few different times, the final episode before the weddings had me rolling and I even cried. I didn't want their story to end and hopefully we will get more of this couple down the road. Thank you for another great book.

I LOVE competition reality shows (I need the show in this book to be real!) and the premise of Meghan Quinn's The Wedding Game was so fun! It was filled with Quinn's trademark laugh-out-loud humor and so much emotion. Witty banter abounds, and once the slow-burn romance heats up, the steam does as well. I adored Farrah, the heroine's roommate, and am hoping we might get to see more of her in a future book.

Maybe it's the mood I've been in lately, but it took me a while to get into this book. I felt like it had two distinctive tones and I found the first one, a bit much. Almost all the characters felt a bit over the top, but then there's a point where that shifts and that is when I started to enjoy the book. And while I didn't hate any of the characters, it did take me a bit to warm up to some of them.

Having said that, there were plenty of funny moments that made me laugh out loud. It wouldn't be a Meghan Quinn book without them! I will say that preferred Alec and Luna once they were together as opposed to them being at odds with one another. There were even some sweet, genuine and heartfelt moments as well.

Although this was just an okay book for me, it might be the book for you.

I am a crafter at heart but nowhere on the level of Luna Rossi. Can I be jealous of a fictional character? She is a fixer, a protector and a jack of all trades. She loves unconditionally and with her bright smile all the time she is the epitome of happy. Alec Baxter not so happy. Workaholic by day and night and has forgotten how to have fun. He does look like Chris Evans so he has that going for him.

Luna and Alec are complete opposites and should not be attracted to each other but they have the enemies to lovers thing down pat. I loved their connection and chemistry that was a slow and sweet build. I loved the banter and comebacks and the love they both had for their families.
This was a super fun read with lots of Meghan humor and sexiness. There was family bonding, fights, crafts and a whole lot of laughs. This was a unique story that grabbed me from page one and had me intrigued the entire story. The epilogue was perfect.

Oh and let’s not forget Meghan using a certain word so many times I could not stop laughing. She used this word the moistest and I just love her witty humor.

There is nothing that Luna won’t do for her brother Cohen and that includes convincing him and his fiancé Declan to become contestants with her on a reality show that could have them winning the wedding and apartment of their dreams. The only thing standing in their way is team Alec.

Against his better judgment Alec has been convinced by his brother Thad and his fiancé Naomi to join forces so that they could get their married life off to a great start. When he finds himself competing against team Luna it could either be the best thing that ever happened to him or the worst.

Alec’s career has ensured that he doesn’t believe in love and happy ever afters but the one thing he does believe in is his brother. What started out as a competition between two adversaries takes a turn when they realize that they make better friends than foes. Flirty banter, family and all the feels add up to a fun story.

I really don't know how the heck Meghan Quinn does it, but she just keeps writing heroes that outdo the one who comes before him! The Wedding Game is unlike any MQ book I've read before (and I actually find myself saying that quite often, which is a testament to her talents as a writer!). And if there was ever a book that could be turned into a Hallmark movie, it is The Wedding Game!

Set against a wedding-themed reality show, this hilarious romcom features Luna, a sunshiney bedazzler-happy DIY fanatic, and anti-commitment divorce lawyer Alec, who has begrudgingly agreed to help his brother out. Alec and Luna immediately get off on the wrong foot when he mistakes her for a PA on the show's set and all but demands that she get him a cup of coffee. Which she, of course, adds "something special" to!

What starts out as Luna and Alec trading barbs turns into them swapping recipes (kinda) and decor ideas. But they are each other's competition, technically, so keeping their relationship a secret is a must. Which isn't so bad at first, but loyalty to her brother begins to compete against Luna's growing feelings for Alec. And just as Alec realizes that being in love and sharing his life with one person might not be so bad, their relationship blows up in the worst way.

The Wedding Game is just what the book world needs right now. It's got a quirky heroine, a broody hero, sequins and tulle and burlap galore. The chemistry between Alec and Luna is electric, and the arc of their journey as a couple is heartwarming. Add in the awesome side characters, and The Wedding Game is an absolute winner!

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.

After some heavy reading, The Wedding Game was just the right palate cleanser to get me out of the funk. This light and fluffy enemies to lovers romance provides lots of fun, sweet and charming moments which I truly enjoyed. Besides Luna and Alec’s slow burning romance, the story focused heavily on family. I loved the originality of the story and would recommend it to anyone who loves a sweet rom-com filled with witty banters, loving moments and some great chemistry.

Gosh, I really don’t know how Meghan Quinn does it, it’s like she sprinkles rainbows, butterflies and unicorns in every book I read of hers and I’m a goner. The Wedding Game being no different!

In true Meghan Quinn form, I laughed, I cried, I shook my fist at fictional characters. I went through all the motions. No one does angsty romcoms like Ms Quinn.

Alec and Luna are #couplegoals. No doubt about it. From their early bickering to them tearing each other’s walls to being together.

The secondary characters really sold the rest of this story. Even in the background, I was able to immerse myself into their lives and feel all the feels. Gosh, Declan’s vows y’all. I’m still teary eyed about them.

What you will take away from this book is not only a well crafted epic romance, no you will also gain hope. Hope in some way or another but hope you yourself need and deserve. So here’s to happily ever afters.

I’m blaming the fact that I got my second vaccination shot the day I started reading this, and was tired from that, as the ONLY reason I didn’t stay up and finish that first night. Because the next day as soon as I picked it back up I was laughing out loud and loving this book so much! I read during my breakfast and as I was laughing at the table the dogs were looking at me like I was crazy. But hey, how could I not laugh at this line:

“My ass is coming for your face!”

Then I read during my lunch, which was in public at an Applebee’s, and I’m pretty sure some people at the closest table, which was a little ways away thanks to the distancing stuff, were looking at me strangely as I didn’t just giggle at parts, but outright laughed out loud. The banter between Luna and Alec was the best. Exactly what I love about Meghan Quinn’s writing. And the wedding show? I loved the three couples so much. While really we only got the funny bits from Alec’s brother and future sister-in-law, and then the mother of one of the lesbians, there were a few moments when Luna and her brother fought like brother and sister that were funny as well.

But as I also know about Quinn’s books, it wasn’t all just fun and games. Sure, there were the steamy bits, the bits that I always slow down and read to enjoy. But also there was the emotion, that part at the end when the couple seems to be broken apart and their miscommunication or issues just are so much in the way, almost seeming insurmountable. However this is a romance, and so we did get our happily ever after, making my smile come out again at the end.

I also now really want to get my mom to help me get better at sewing, because there are so many cool fabrics out there and I just want to go out and sew cute things and sell them at craft shows with my mom!

Adored this book. I am a huge Meghan Quinn fan and am always excited to get my greedy hands on her work. So this story finds us in NYC for a wedding reality show competition.

Alec is Thad's brother who is trying to win the show to give his fiance a great new future. Alec is the most perfect Cinnamon roll man of all our dreams. He looks like Chris Evans and from what we can tell has the emotional capacity of a dish towel. Ohhhh men and their layers and emotional discovery. I loved that even he really didn't have a clue as to how messed up he was. The dynamic between these brothers is sad and Alec and Luna aren't the only ones who get a HEA.

Luna, I just love her. She is a DIY crafter blogger who wants to win this show to help her brother and his fiance have the best wedding. She has this huge sparkly glitter heart and she and Alec get off to a very wrong start. After some cat fishing and disasters you will just be cheering your heart out for these two. But if you have read Meghan Quinn before you know that is not going to be without suffering. I just cried my little tender heart out for these two.

This book does have a pretty big cast as each MC is on a team so it does take a min to get really invested in the story but hang with it and you will love it!

I don’t care what the subject matter is, Meghan can write the stuffing out of it. I loved this story, even though I’m not a fan of competition tv shows. The idea was genius and the shenanigans that followed were in typical Quinn fashion. I laughed, I cringed, I swooned, and I rooted for love. Watching a couple go from enemies to lovers is my favorite troupe. Luna was adorable and quirky, while Alec was somewhat aloof and snobby at first. I could tell there was a big ol softie in there but it took a lot to get him out. Luna just wormed her way in without even realizing it. Her genuine heart and helpful nature was irresistible. And she realized pretty quickly that Alec was hiding a deep hurt that had closed him off years ago. But he truly came alive under her care and love. This couple had me aching for their happily ever after. The side characters were fantastic. Thad is so hysterically funny and Farrah is that best friend that we secretly wish we had. And Cohen and Declan, *heart eyes* ugh I just loved them! Overall, I think if you’re a fan of romance and humor, this book is definitely for you.

If you love romantic comedies look no further than The Wedding Game because for me the queen of this genre has once again given us a story that is everything you want and expect in a great read.
Meghan Quinn is a very talented and diverse author but for me it’s her rom -coms when she truly comes into her own and Luna and Alec’s story is the perfect fun, steamy, entertaining and flirty read.
Three teams are competing in The Wedding Game and Luna and Alec are both contestants on opposite teams hoping to win a dream wedding for their brothers. Once the contest begins all sorts of challenges are put to the teams and it’s Luna who grabs an early lead with her wonderful crafting skills but as she watches Alec try so desperately hard to win the dream wedding and a penthouse for his brother and his fiancée, she starts to see a very different side to her competitor.......
This is an enemies to lovers romance and it certainly ticked all my boxes, I smiled and I giggled, I swooned and I sighed as I watched this couple go from competitors to lovers. The Wedding Gane has the perfect mix of love, passion and humour and I highly recommend this gem of a read.
