The illustrations in this book are so stunning and the colors will absolutely catch kids eyes. I was one of those kids growing up that loves to look for all the little details on a page and this is the perfect one for that! It will take kids on an adventure right from their couch!

So much to see and learn. From Egypt to Africa, you will see the past come alive and how people live today. Both kiddos and parents will love this book.

A special thank you to Quatro Publishing Group and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review.

I received an advance reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers.

The world around me is a beautifully illustrated book which takes you down the paths of 60 countries to explore the world. There are wonderful illustrations in this book and enough detail that each time you read it you will discover something new. The book is spotted with small pieces of information about where you can visit and what there is in that country to see.

This is a beautiful book sure to encapture many little explorers minds.

A simple flap book for those who need a glimpse of the world and quick information on what to see. Interesting enough, though not really informative.

Really awesome book about places around the world, with lots of fun facts! The kids loved learning about all the places to go. Especially given covid-19, it's great to have the opportunity to explore the world through the comforts of one's home and through beautiful drawings!

This is a beautifully illustrated book of famous sites and landmarks around the world. The fold out pages make it an amazing book, but not the best for an elementary library.

I got this on Netgalley in exchange for an honest review!
This is a really nice mini guide to some key places in the world! The art in this is really nice, and I also I like how the layout is done as if we are actually traveling the world along a road, although my ARC was slightly confusing sometimes with the placements. It happened a few times where I accidentally read things in the wrong order. Overall pretty nice tho!

A Stunningly illustrated book about the globe & world around us. This little book takes us on a journey beyond our doorstep with vibrant colors & fun facts about the countries beyond our boarders. A great picture book for all ages.

Sadly the content of this book this file was terribly formatted. I really struggled to read it eight feet of beautiful illustrations didn't condense down to an iPhone screen. The artwork, however, is lovely and I can see this being an excellent addition to a primary school library.

Essentially is a world tour of some of the biggest landmarks and places of wonder on earth, this will delight children and allow them to travel the globe in the pages of a book is great fun! Shame it’s not a physical book.

Thank you NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group for an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.

This is a beautifully illustrated little exploration of some of the famous landmarks and sites around the world, with a sprinkling of information about each formulated for young readers. That being said, there are a couple of details that might be ARC-only and not relevant to the final form, like the spelling of Papua New Guinea as "Papa" which, as far as I know, is incorrect rather than an acceptable variation? Though it's difficult to read/view properly in e-arc form, I imagine this would feel like a fun global adventure to fold out the pages and read with a small child.

Unrelated to the content of this book, but this file was terribly formatted. I really struggled to read it.

I couldn't really read this as the eight feet of beautiful illustrations didn't condense down to the small screen. The artwork, however, is lovely and I can see this being an excellent addition to the school library.

I received an advance copy of, The World Around Me, by Charlotte Guillain. This book takes you on an adventure all over the world. So many places to see, and fun facts about the places. The pictures are great too.
