Loved this book! Haven’t fell so hard for a YA novel since The Sun Is Also A Star. The best part is Ella and her journey. It was sweet with a surprise at the end. I couldn’t put it down! Will definitely be pulling this one into my classroom for our YA genre study.

Realistic fiction. Ella was in an accident last year and afterwards had a gap in her memory. She feels as if a part of her life is lost. So when some mysterious someone begins leaving paper heart clues for her to help her regain that lost part of herself, she begins to realize how lucky she is. Hopefully, she can remember what she lost and keep that super cute guy she just met or reconnect with her old beau if that's in the paper hearts... Overall, a sweet romance and unusual mystery worth reading.

An adorable, sweet, YA romance with a mystery that drives the action. This was a quick, but very satisfying read. It will be a hit with some of my high school students! Thank you netgalley for this arc in exchange for my honest opinion.

This Valentine's centered romance was a great read and I'm looking forward to adding it to our library's collection and February display. I think it will be well received and great for a broad audience.
Hartwell does a nice job of stringing the mystery together and adding enough twists and disappointments to make the outcome not completely obvious. I wish she addressed the complete dropping of Andrew from Ella's life a bit better. If her family and friends all knew about Andy/Andrew/Drew, why did they all completely ignore his presence in her life when she was in the hospital?
I still thoroughly enjoyed this book, even with my nitpicky questions. The characters were charming and I always love a good self-discovery story intertwined with romance.
Thanks for the ARC!

what a cute book about 2nd chances with love. I loved that family was a big part of this. I enjoyed that she was trying to solve what happened and that she did find love again. I did enjoy that drew had to recreate the dates and that her sister was involved and wanted to help her. I did enjoy that she went through the same fight with her friend carmen. Overall a cute story about finding those 11 paper hearts .

I've waited a few days to review this book to gather my thoughts. In one word...it was perfect. The right balance of humor and sweetness. I loved following Ella on her journey to discover the truth about what happened in the weeks leading up to her car crash. It was well done and even the ending had a little surprise. I'm looking forward to reading any future YA by Kelsey Hartwell. This was a superb debut.

For readers who enjoyed To All The Boys I've Loved Before, and 10 Blind Dates.
This quick wholesome romantic adventure story would be great for anyone's TBR list (I read it in just a couple days).
I like the characters and their "drama" as well as the portrayal of their sibling relationship.
I also like the idea of a main character trying to regain memories for the 11 months of her life that she can't remember, after a car accident she's already coped with (for the most part).
The ending was a good simple twist that made the rest of the story make sense and come to a crisp conclusion.

11 Paper Hearts is an amazing told YA Romance. From the very start my heart broke for Ella and with every paper heart she found I was in thus journey with her hoping she got her memories back, I loved this concept and was definitively hooked on this book. I pre-order for my library before I finished it because I knew this book was going to be a hit.
