Am explosive story that jumpas of the page with its fascinating characters and action.
A good read.

This started out do good but after a quarter of the book I started to lose interest in what was happening and really found I was not happy with the characters.

It had such great premise I do think that the execution just needed to be a bit better. I'd do see a lot of promise in the book but it needed just more oomph.

As the 3rd in the series I was able to glean some of the tensions, the character growth, but I did get the sense I was missing something which is what you want in a series!! The plot line was solid & I quickly connected with Carmen. It's a quick read, great for a long car ride or a chilly evening, entertaining & easy to read. I gave it 3 stars because some of the scenes felt rushed or just paced awkwardly, particularly between characters. I don't attribute that to not being familiar with the series and more a personal preference.

Unfortunately, I requested this without realizing its third in a series, so I wanted to rate it anyway to ensure my feedback ratio was okay. The summery sounds wonderful and I am thriller to pick up book 1 of this series shortly.
