Hockey, sweet to hot romance, and a story you can’t put down...yes please!!! The author has added yet another terrific story to this series. Josh and Sara will have you laughing, fanning yourself, and then crying the next. There is so much depth to their story that you be like me and read it in one evening. Who needs sleep anyways!! I am a fan of this author’s work and let me tell you that this is one you don’t want to miss.

What a great hockey love story, between two people with their quirks, who meet and find they have a lot in common. 5 hockey stars for this one!
Here we meet Josh, just traded to New York from Dallas. He doesn't like change, he always has to know what's going to happen, he plans very carefully for that. He's not happy being on a team with a guy he used to play hockey with, who he feels abandoned him when he needed him most. This will be a huge adjustment for Josh, but when the teams PR tells him they have him lined up to do a podcast with an influencer, he reluctantly goes and meets a girl, Sara, who he thinks is absolutely beautiful.

Sara is the complete opposite of Josh, she never plans, flies by the seat of her pants, which Josh is quickly learning about her. She does podcasts as well as cooking shows. She's real, and that's what attracts Josh to her, but he's also got his reservations about her, he didn't plan for a girlfriend in his life. But what these two share, is absolutely amazing chemistry!

I loved this story, make sure you grab it asap!

You Had Me at Hockey is another great addition to Kelly Jamieson's Bears Hockey series!

Josh Heller has been traded from Dallas to the New York Bears and he's not one that likes change or not knowing what is coming down the pike. He's a planner and so having to learn a new team, a new coach and a new city isn't his favorite thing ever, but he's a warrior and he's going to do it. Much of his reluctance with change comes from a near-death experience as a child, which has shaped not only him as a person, but his hockey life as well.

Sara Carringon is a quirky, funny, smart woman who has a podcast and does YouTube videos for a living. While she's always battled depression, using her videos to focus her has been a game changer. She's been lucky enough to get Josh on one of her upcoming podcast episodes and while she knows nothing about hockey, she's open to the idea of having him on.

When Josh and Sara meet, the connection is almost immediate. Neither of them is looking for any kind of relationship, but it seems that the universe has a different idea. They are drawn to one another and as they start to spend time together, that just intensifies. Both of them are dealing with baggage so to speak, but it seems that they are able to help one another as they deal with it. Will this relationship end up becoming more permanent than either of them ever expects?

Josh and Sara were great characters. I liked that they were flawed and I liked that they admitted that. No one is perfect and I always find it great when as a reader I can identify with things they are going through. I loved how they learned from one another and were friends as much as lovers. This was another great installment in this series!

The more that I read Kelly Jamieson, the more that I like her books and her writing! I loved Sara, loved her spontaneity and the way she handles everything in her life, good and bad. Josh, on the other hand, needed structure and didn’t like things to change without a lot of thought and planning. Or so he thought. Sara and Josh were good together and balanced each other out. Sara helped Josh deal with things that he thought didn’t bother him anymore and Josh helped Sara believe in herself and her instincts. Can’t wait for more!

[ARC BOOK REVIEW: You had me at Hockey by Kelly Jamieson. In exchange for an honest review. Thank you @netgalley!]

"𝑰 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒂 𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒐𝒓" 𝑱𝒐𝒔𝒉 𝑯𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒓
🏒
I cannot believe how much I enjoyed this book. I fell in love with both Josh, Sara and the others! This was such a nice real romance book. Not too mushy, not too predictable, and lots of steamy scenes ladies 🔥 but above that, it was an emotional experience. I felt as if these characters were my friends.
🏒
We follow Josh and Sara. Josh is a professional hockey player with issues from his past after a major accident. He gets traded to a new team and a new city with someone he didn't plan on seeing again. And Josh likes to have things planned. Sara is a social media/vlogger star. She is well known and famous, but she is also outgoing, spontaneous and a "tell it like it is" kinda woman and I LOVE that about her. Even though she is all of these great things, she has her issues too. They are complete opposites, but y'all know the saying right? Opposites attract.
Sara's goal is to get him to smile. But does she? Why is she trying to get Josh to smile? Is he capable of smiling again? Can she? You have to read to find out!
🏒
This was such a great feel good read for me and one of my favorite type of stories. I am surprised that I haven't read any of Kelly Jamieson's books before since she has a very similar style of writing as some of my favorite authors. HOWEVER; I'll definitely be getting all of her books from here on out! This was such an amazing read!
☆☆☆☆☆ out of 5 stars for me!

Josh and Sara meet when he guests on her podcast. Neither of them have ever heard of the other, Sara knows nothing about hockey and Josh knows nothing about influencers. Neither is prepared for the instant connection. It makes for a great interview but also makes it hard to say goodbye when the microphones turn off. They are both busy and successful and have no time to date, not to mention that Sara is all about spontaneity and Josh loves a good plan to stick to. How could this ever work out?

I have said it before and will say it again, I love a good hockey romance so I was thrilled to curl up with this one. This was a well written book that made me laugh and had me crying as well. I love that Sara was quirky without being over the top.Sara and Josh really communicated and supported each other in their careers which I appreciated. I do wish that Josh’s issues with a former friend had been resolved differently after being so built up but that is a small quibble. I cannot believe I missed the first book in this series and will have to rectify that.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Very entertaining read, humor, steaminess and feels this has it all! Josh and Sara are total opposites he is a planner she likes jump into new experiences. Josh has had his routine changed when he's traded from his Texas hockey team to New York, everything is out of his control. Sara is known for her fun and impulsive video blogging. After meeting on her podcast, they both feel a connection, neither one expecting anything but friendship quickly latches on. Fun scenes, great banter and wonderful characters make this a great read!

This was a fun book. Laugh out loud at times as the characters are down to earth and while they have issues, they balance each other out so nicely. If you are looking for a little steam, a bit of laughter, and a great romance, look no further :)

Once again Kelly Jamieson has given us a story that tugs at your heart & but also makes it sing. Her love & knowledge of hockey shows through on every page written, as well as her love of wine. I always enjoy reading he stories because she grabs my attention right from the beginning & doesn’t let go of it even after I’m finished reading, I still want more. This story is no different with Josh & Sara both strong independent people but both who have emotional problems that sometimes tend to tie them up in knots. I loved Sara’s quirky personality & Josh’s rigid have to have it planned out personality. Their chemistry was definitely off the charts & hit combustible their first time together. I loved the drama & growth that they brought out in each other. Definitely well done. Thank you to Loveswept & Net Galley for letting me read this book for an honest review.

Another great hockey story by Kelly Jamieson! This opposites-attract story is delightful from the very beginning. I love how these two learn from each other how to compromise and be better together. I do wish Josh and Easton could have come together sooner but loved how Lily and Sara brought them together. This is a feel-good must read that you will truly enjoy!

Josh gets traded to NYC from Dallas, and meets Sara during an interview podcast. Both have issues, both feel sparks. A fun and quick read that was hard to put down. Skimmed over the multiple sex (a little excessive for me), and felt they should have built a stronger foundation first (again, just me) but overall a good story. Would highly recommend this book, author and series.

I LOVED Josh and Sara’s story! These are two people who have issues like all of us, and Kelly does an amazing job sharing each character’s personalities and what they have had to battle through in their lives while bringing them together. I could not put this book down and it provided a great stress release with all going on around us. You won’t want to miss it.

Loved this book. It's sexy and hot, with engaging characters. I loved the quirky characters and thought their backstories were interesting and added depth to the story.
If you enjoy the genre, you will love this book. The author is on my must read authors' list.

I loved You Had Me at Hockey. The entire thing was adorable. Sara was this funny, impulsive, down to Earth chick that made me laugh so hard. She brought out the best in Josh. Josh (of the Heller family for those who have read that series) was this slightly grumpy, uptight hockey player. He lived by his plans and it was fun to see him unravel with Sara by his side. These two  had serious chemistry and their banter was hilarious. They played so well off each other. I also liked the realities the two faced pertaining to their pasts. It was easy to identify with both of them.

You Had Me at Hockey was truly a great, heartfelt romance. Most of all, it made me laugh and smile. It's going down as one of my favorite sports romances from Kelly Jamieson. I want more like it.

I like this series, but I don't love it as much as I do Kelly Jamieson's other series. This one is tamer. I liked Josh a lot. He seemed to be the hurt but yet sweet. Sara was meh. Just ok. I wished I liked her a little more to make me like their story more.

Josh, “Hellsy”, was just traded to the New York Bears. Not only does he not handle change well, but he also now has to play alongside an old friend who abandoned him in a time of need. When the team signs him up for a podcast, he meets a girl who just may be able to bring him out of his comfort zone.

Sara is famous for her down to earth and honest YouTube videos and Instagram page. When she impulsively invites her podcast guest to lunch, the two seem to surprisingly enjoy each other’s company, even with their polar opposite personalities. Eventually, they find themselves relying on each other more and more as they both attempt to navigate through their insecurities.

This was such a sweet and down to earth type of book. I enjoyed the first book in this series and I enjoyed the glimpses of Easton and Lilly. This book has a natural flow and their relationship develops organically. It’s not a book filled with angst or a super crazy storyline, but instead, it’s written in a way that feels so normal.

Sara is a youtuber who also has her own podcast. Josh is a pro hockey player. They meet when he is asked to do an interview for her podcast after being traded from Dallas to New York. When she asks him to lunch after he is more shocked than anyone that he agrees, and that is just the beginning!
