This was not my favorite. It could be because I have seen the show and I have an issue with characters when they are doing different things. The writing was good and it kept me interested. I would read more from the author. |

Joe Goldberg has moved on, and he's settled in the Pacific Northwest. He gets a job at a local library thanks to his love of books, and he meets the next object of his affection/obsession. The third series of the Netflix adaptation deviates from this novel quite significantly in places, so anybody looking for a replica will not find it here. I love this series and I think Caroline Kepnes is a genius - how she manages to make us alternate between rooting for Joe between despise him and everything he does is no mean feat. Would recommend to anybody who enjoyed the previous novels and the Netflix series. |

Such a great follow up to You! Super quick paced, kept me guessing and on the edge of my seat at all times! |

I love how dark & humourous Joe is. This was a highly entertaining book for me. I loved a main character who was also a librarian. Cringey at times but loved this story. |

You Love Me is the third book in the YOU series, following Joe and his… troubles with love. If you’ve read the first two books, you already have an idea of what those troubles are, but if you haven’t read them, I would suggest starting there. I adored the first two books, as much as one can adore a book about a stalker. They were tense, and eerie, and being trapped in Joes head was some of the most unsettled I’ve been reading a book. I don’t recommend reading these books at work if you work in an escape room, that’s located in a dark basement where you’re constantly alone. You definitely start to get a bit paranoid. Because I liked the first two books so much, I was thrilled to receive an arc of this one, fully expecting to love it. Unfortunately, this one didn’t quite hit the same way the first two did. My biggest problem with this one was the lack of tension. It didn’t have the same feel as the first two books, where you’re unsettled and aware that Joe is definitely the misguided creep (of which he is absolutely unaware). You Love Me felt more like it was a strange attempt at an actual romance. There was still similar behaviour from Joe as in the first two books, but it didn’t feel the same. The suspense, and the bad things that Joe does, just aren’t present in this book. Without giving too much away, or spoiling the first two books if you’ve not read those, You Love Me felt lacking. It was still a decent book, and I still plan on seeing what happens if there is a fourth book in the YOU series, but I just didn’t feel as invested or on the edge of my seat with this one. If you’re going in to this one expecting much the same from Joe, I recommend putting a damper on your expectations so that hopefully it can be better than you’re expecting. |

I listened to this on audio. And I love the narrator. I almost felt like I was listening to Penn from the show. I love how this series almost makes you feel so bad for Joe. Even when he tries to be good. Things still never go his way. |

This one is a trip. I mean I know (and you know) that Joe finding his happy would be very weird for everybody. But you can't help but hope? But Joe keeps running into people who are supremely wronger than even he is and the reader is definitely happy to be along for the ride. An excellent series that just keeps getting better. |

This was different from the TV series and my motto is always “the book was better.” I can’t wait to see what this author comes up with next! |

The books diverge from the TV series pretty significantly, but that's ok because I love them both. So dark, so fun! Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the e-galley |

Well first, let me say how much I love Caroline's writing! I would read anything by her. This series is something that spins love and obsession into one and has you wondering about people behind closed doors. Do you ever really know someone, even when you love them and begins to build a life? Does their past haunt them and will eventually haunt you? Aside from the fantastic story line, it really gets you thinking and loving a true physchopath and actually had me wondering where I could find one for myself! |

DNF at 25% I found You to be such a creepy story with so much potential! I pushed through Hidden Bodies and felt like it was super repetitive and that Joe’s motivation for making the choices he makes wasn’t very believable. He went from making all his choices around Beck to essentially wanting to kill everyone because they looked at him wrong. It was a little too predictable for my liking. |

Ooh time goes by and if i don't write the review right away...sigh. I'm trying to be better. The best i can do right now is give a star count... |

I loved You so much and this book did not disappoint. Joe gives up big city living for a more peaceful and quiet life in the Northwest. BUT if you have read the other two in this series you know that Joe can’t be peaceful or quiet for too long!!! Fast-paced thriller that I could not stop reading! Thank you NetGalley for the copy to read and review. . |

This was my first book by this author, It was pretty enjoyable. I would give this book a 3.5 star rating! It was a pretty Quick and easy read! |

The You series is terrific and the addition of You Love Me really adds to the storyline. There's something about Joe that makes you love and hate him all while being totally creeped out by him. This story was great and I loved all the emotions that were evoked through the twists were great! |

Many thanks to NetGalley, Random House Publishing and Caroline Kepnes for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest book review of You Love Me. My thoughts and opinions are 100% my own and independent of receiving an advance copy. Oh Joe! How I’ve missed you! Did you miss me too? This is the third in the series “You” and Joe is up to his old antics again. Try as he might, he just can’t seem to stay on the straight and narrow. This time Joe has relocated to from LA to a small quaint town where he falls for the local librarian. He promises he just wants to help her, he’s not going to obsess over, but he just can’t help himself. Mary Kay has a boyfriend and although Joe knows that he would be the best boyfriend, he says he wants to win her the right way. He’s going to be so amazing that she just can’t help herself and will fall in love with him. Well, nothing turns out like he thinks, ever. Before you know it, he is stalking her, gets caught, then has to start covering things up. If you’ve read the other two books in the series, you’ll know where this is headed. I know people were disappointed in this book, but I wasn’t. This is exactly what I wanted. There were twists and turns and hole Joe digs for himself only gets deeper, but what do people expect? That’s what I love about the You books. I mean, do you go on a rollercoaster and say wow that was boring it just went up and down and all around! The insight into Joe looking at his child on instagram was sad and my heart did go out to him a bit. So join Joe for his completely bad decision making skills and find out if Mary Kay can survive his love. I was there for all of it and will be waiting for Season 3 on Netflix. |

Took me a little while to finish this but HOLY SHIT. I did not see that plot twist coming at the end. Like at all. Jesus Christ. I won’t give anything away but you will not see this coming in the end. |

You Love Me by Caroline Kepnes is fantastic. Joe wants to be a changed man. Now working at a library outside the city he does not want to meddle or obsess about things or people anymore, or does he? As shocking and twisty as the books that proceed it, You Love Me is suspenseful, darkly humorous at times and an all-around good time with the shock factor that Kepnes always brings to her character work with Joe. Highly recommend! I received a review copy of this book from the publisher through NetGalley for my honest review. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own. |

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ You Love Me by Caroline Kepnes This is book three in the You series. I’ve found this series is hard to write reviews for. I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone. Joe has given up on the city and moved to Seattle. He’s back up to his usual obsessive behavior and has a new target. Mary Kay she’s a librarian and Joe thinks he’s perfect for her. All Joe focuses on is tone in love with somebody and have them love him to. But is Mary Kay capable of handling all just corks? As always a mind blowing story from the very self obsessed Joe. Thanks to Random House and NetGalley for the ARC. |

This wasn't terrible but it also didn't grip me like You did. I think I'm just going to accept that You was a standalone because I haven't enjoyed the sequels that came after it, sadly. |
