As an avid NR fan, I was excited to read this. while I enjoyed it fully, I was able to predict early on who the villain is. On the other hand, it was an interesting twist from the usual to have the hero with a family already in place. Note that none of this would stop me from recommending or reading this book.

I absolutely loved this book. It was classic Nora Roberts at her finest. I finished it in one sitting and thought it was very well done.

The book deals with it all, family issues, love, death, intrigue and ambition. Roberts once again kept me fully engaged from start to finish.
