This is an excellent resource for helping teach the concepts found in the original book. It’s such an important lesson and all too often both kids and adults lose sight of the ability to create meaningful change through small acts of kindness. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by all of the big issues in the world today. Highly recommended.

I love the idea of promoting small acts of kindness. I am using this book with my students and I believe it is really helping them to be more empathetic and sympathetic to others and to see that small acts of kindness can really add up and help not just others, but themselves as well!

I love, love, LOVE the Secret Kindness Agents idea (a group of students secretly doing random acts of kindness in their community - what's not to love?!) but I was not the right reader for this "educator's guide". This book focuses on research done on kindness and empathy education in schools, with the idea that teaching professionals can convince the decision-makers in their own schools to implement such programs. I wasn't the target audience and the research mostly went right over my head - which says more about my lack of reading comprehension than anything about the writer's skill.
