This really wasn't my type of humour.
The images were exaggerated, colorful, provocative. Very eye catching and fun.
The pages are basically broken up into one off stories that vaguely follow each other (think of newspaper comics) which isn't my favorite story format.
I found the humor to be a bit crude and corny and the characters weren't holding my interest.
I can totally picture other people liking this, it just wasn't for me.

I don’t read comics so this was different for me. I thought it very funny. They meet as kids and like each other. Years later they meet again and he is totally smitten. They become a couple. But she will not give him her virginity until they are married. And all he can think about is getting with her. Eventually, years later, they get more intimate. So many funny things happen along the way.
Enjoyed this a lot

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for making this available..

The cover of this really caught my eye.

An angel and devil, meet and unexpectedly fall in love. Angie, a curvy angel, and Damiano, a skinny horny devil, have been dating for 7 years now. Mirka Andolfo take us on a wild adventure, with twists and turns everywhere.

The gags and comedy were funny, and I enjoyed the thought of an angel and devil relationship defying the odds of their birth rights. The artworks was perfectly done and the details were amazing. Although it feels like this graphic novel is more for a mature reader looking for something fun and upbeat to read.

An angel and a demon fall in love. This is their story. Very sex positive and a funny slice of life comic.

The book is bright and cheery. I loved the first appearance of each character that was introduced. This book is really not for children, but the story is fun and awkward in all the ways you want a slice of life comic to be. The angel is super naive and the demon wants to be bad, but cares deeply for the angel so he is trying to behave.

I love all the innuendo in the story. The story does get weirder and weirder as it continues. If you like silly and fun slice of life comics about opposite personalities this is the book for you.

I received a copy of this graphic novel from NetGalley and the publisher to read and review.

This graphic novel is very one-note, and though the art style is fun and flirty and sexy, the set-up and punchline of every page is pretty much the same. Damiano wants to have sex, and Angelina wants to wait until marriage. Damianao thinks Angelina is finally giving in, only to discover she isn't, and he gets disappointed and kicked out. It seemed very web-comic style, and like it was meant more for teenagers than myself, unfortunately.

I wound up DNFing this one, as I just couldn't get past the immature humor or the repetitive nature of the thing.

I really enjoyed this saucy little book full of angelic and demonic fun. Angelina and Damiano’s romance is something special. Their story is told in vignettes, and is definitely for adults. There’s a lot to relate to, and the angel/demon stuff leans more toward turning any religious-related expectations on their heads than adherence to the traditional concepts of divine versus demonic. The story really is more dating and relationship development, with friends and family and ups and downs. The art is cute and colorful, and very sexy, but sexy in a romantic way. There isn’t anything earth-shattering about the story, but it’s funny and heart-warming, and I really enjoyed it.

ARC From Netgalley.
Meet Angelina and Damiano. One is a chaste, oblivious, chesty bombshell-type of an angel. The other is a metal music singing, fire loving, porn watching, stereotypical horny devil. A chance meeting as little kids comforting each other when their parent’s grocery store carts collide set these two on a destiny to be together forever.

In a world of only angels and devils, this couple doesn’t ever seem like they would work out well together, but when you blend in all the one liners and blatantly obvious sex and crude jokes, the laughs themselves keep the story progressing. Though the story falls easily into a routine of one page setup and punchline, almost as if it was a newspaper strip or web comic, the irony of the situations that are uncovered, will cause laughter to erupt from deep down inside you.

Mirka Andolfo (UNNATURAL, MERCY) takes a very basic premise, runs it through a religious spin, a raunchy sense of humor, and lets it all fly over a bed of adults only content and out comes UnSacred Volume 1. Will there be a Volume 2? If so, it will probably need to have new characters…

18 and up ONLY.

This is definitely for mature audiences only and honestly fell a bit flat for me. It's basically the same general situation told over and over again with the same results. The colors are super saturated and I felt like it was just too much of the same, while also being pretty intent on really pushing the narrative of the stereotypical characters. This one just wasn't for me, I'm sure that it has its own demographic and there were certainly some humorous moments, but just not my cup of tea.

A rare DNF for this one trick pony. It's about a horny devil and a doe-eyed, big boobed, naive angel dating. He wants to have sex and she wants to wait until they get married. Most of the book is one page strips where the joke is the same every time. He misconstrues something she said for "Let's finally have sex" until he ends up tossed out on the porch. It feels like this may have been a web comic first from the way it was constructed. I do know Andolfo published it in her native Italian before Marguerite Bennett translated it.

Sexy, sexy, sexy art paired to a pretty standard coming of age within the context of a relationship story. Bases its humor on some pretty regressive gender roles, and the Devil/Angel context isn't explored enough. Diverting.

This was a very interesting concept and I loved it. We follow the story of a Devil and an Angel falling in love. I enjoyed how the stereotypes of devils and angels were played on with characterization and personality. It made for very interesting pairings throughout the story.

I also really loved the art style in this book. It was fun and colourful and expressive. The story was funny and fast paced. I loved seeing growth in both characters. They developed and changed over time in their relationship with each other and others.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes romance graphic novels and something a little raunchy. It’s definitely got some spicy moments.

Unfortunately I was unable to access this file so I cannot give a review at this time. I believe it was due to the file itself because all of the other arcs I have requested have sent fine.I’m so sorry. I look forward to reading it once my store gets a copy.

This book was an interesting read. Not really interesting in the good way. I gave it 3 stars for the benefit of having some things I did like but overall the relationship was grossly unhealthy and the book as a whole was incredibly sexist both to men and women.

Wow! As soon as I saw this cover I knew I had to read this one - and then the synopsis drew me in much further! The cover is stunning and the premise unique and interesting!

This was an exciting read that kept me enthralled in the story while throwing in some mature humor along the way! I really enjoyed it - found the characters and concepts to be enthralling and was blown away by the gorgeous art in this book!

Thank you Netgalley for the eARC!

I really enjoyed reading this graphic novel. The first thing that caught my eye was the cover and after reading the premise I knew I had to read it.

So we follow Damiano who's a demon and Angelina who's an angel as they sail through life and their intricate relationship.

It was fun to read, with some rated R-humor I found it the perfect mix between cute and spicy. Love the way everyone was protrayed and the family dynamics, the contrast between the families attitude anf being demon or angels was good.

I guess the thing I enojoyed the most was the art style, overall I enjoyed it!

I Laughed so hard!

Once upon a time, an angel fell in love with a devil who just wanted to smash.
From the first page this comic is full of laughs, from three days to seven years of waiting for Angelina, this comic is filled with Damiano's ups ( high expectations) and lows ( hilarious ball crushing disappointments). I highly recommend it. Mirka's art is beautiful ,i f you've read Unnatural, you'll like this one too.

Love thrives in this world and angels and devils.

If you enjoy sexual hijinks and family dysfunction, this is the comic for you. Angelina and Damiano have been together for seven years. Seven very unfulfilled years and Damiano the lovable devil is suffering. This is the story of their relationship told in three distinct parts.

The amazing artwork is absolutely essential to the enjoyment of this story because the details give the jokes life. I found myself rereading entire pages because the stuff going on in the background is just as entertaining as the story being told.

I received a digital copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I really didn't know what to expect from this but I really liked it. The slice of life romance between an angel and devil was touching and realistic. The adult humor was great and I enjoyed the artist's style.
