This is an exemplary body of work that is magical and came at the prefect time during the pandemic . I was fortunate to grow up near Disneyland and we spent every holiday and Birthday at the park enjoying these foods. I was thrilled to receive this for review . Disney is a big part of our lives and the Disney food is a important fun part of visiting the park. We believe in the magic of Disney and how it uplifts a family in joy. This book will bring the joy of Disney magic to your family .

This is a outstanding collection of 100 wonderful Disney park receipes . Many are from our childhood and beloved to so many of us Disney fans. I loved how the book was formatted. The listing of appliances, utensils and baking needs is very detailed and well done. The receipes are timeless memories of the many foods we all love from all the different lands, from snacks to the famous dole whip. From Adventure land BBQ to New Orleans Square . All the different lands are represented as well as California Adventure and even Epcot.

Thank you to the publisher and to Net Galley for the opportunity. My review opinions are my own. This is a must buy for your home collection of cookbooks and Disney books. I will be buying copies for Christmas Presents. This will be a treasured book for all Disney lovers.

There are 100 recipes from the different Disney parks. It begins with a brief history of the different parks. It then gives you a list of tools that will need to create these fan favorites. I love that in recipes are not only broken up by the park, each chapter also begins with a map showing where you can purchase the treats. So many recipes, but several of them require equipment I don't have. So if you are a cooking novice like me or have limited kitchen tools this book may not be very accessable.

For most of my life the Disney Parks (and, in particular, Disneyland) have not generally been considered synonymous with "good food." Until relatively recently, Disney food was mostly heat lamp warmed fries and thin, made-from-frozen burger patties (I'm looking at you in particular, Galactic Grill) with maybe one or two standout dishes known more for their novelty (read: they stuck Mickey ears on it) than anything else. Given this, it is perhaps unsurprising that cookbook is likely to appeal to Disney fans rather than kitchen connoisseurs. There are plenty of relatively basic treats, all of which have been tweaked to be Disney-fied (again, read: they stuck Mickey ears on it) but which genuinely do reflect the offerings in the park. Maybe an ideal gift for those who are mourning the lack of Disney during COVID and want to make some Disney magic in their own kitchens?

The best combination there is: food and Disney. I really enjoyed this cookbook. I liked seeing how they make some of my favorite dishes. I also plan on trying to make a few like the lunch box dessert. Highly recommend for all Disney foodies

I enjoyed this cook book and how the author told you all the kitchen supplies you needed to make the recipes. They also give you little facts about each of the food items and everything is divided by park. I haven't tried any of the recipes yet but my top to try is the dole whip!!

I really like that this includes recipes from the newer parks as well as some classic disney favorites. There are star wars and pandora themed recipes which I haven't seen in Disney themed cookbooks before. I would prefer if more entree type recipes were included. Almost all the recipes are desserts or sweet breakfast items like waffles. There are like 3 or 4 recipes for just different churros. All recipes are fast food types as well. Disney does have some fancier restaurants, especially in Epcot that could've been included. I did like how the book was broken down by park and had good quality photos. I would however had liked some photos on the more foreign type of foods to know what they are supposed to come out as. I have some of this authors other themed cookbooks and I felt in those the recipes were a little more complicated and interesting than these. I don't need a recipe on making brownie bites for example. Hope to see more diversity in future Disney themed cookbooks if she makes them.

Special thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book received in exchange for an honest review.

This book is for all you Disnerds out there! It has all the classics, plus some new treats from the newer parks! I'm so excited to be able to make dole whip whenever I want AND impress my friends with some interesting looking meals (check out the Star Wars and Avatar recipes!) This recipe book will keep me busy for years.

I wasn't able to make ALL the recipes before writing my review, but I tried a few of the recipes. Great success! I even converted them to gluten and dairy free with no issues.

While I loved the recipes and the layout, I do wish there were more pictures!

A great book for Disney lovers. Super fun to discover Disney in these times, a magical book with so many recipes! Great pictures, but wished there would have been lots of more pictures and brighter colors.

This is a beautiful cookbook! I love the pictures and the park descriptions. The author obviously put in a lot of work to produce this cookbook. It would make a great gift for a Disney park loving family.

There are so many recipes to try! Where do I start? I cannot wait to try them. At the top of my list to try are Dole Whips, homemade Corn Dogs, and Churros.

I would have liked to see more pictures of finished recipes. Although, I do realize that would be hard with so many recipes included. I also would have loved more recipes from the nicer restaurants. Most of the recipes included are "fast-food" type food.

Source: I received a temporary electronic copy of this book at my request in exchange for an honest review.

A charming and well designed collection of recipes, THE UNOFFICIAL DISNEY PARKS COOKBOOK is a perfect purchase for Disney fans and beginning home cooks and bakers alike. Most of the recipes are simple and relatively straightforward, making them a great option for trying new things in the kitchen or with your Disney fan kids! I've had excellent results from a number of recipes in the cookbook, and once I replace my broken thermometer I'm looking forward to trying some of the recipes that require frying like Mickey Beignets and Churro Funnel Cakes.

The Unofficial Disney Parks Cookbook by Ashley Craft is incredible! The information and connections regarding the recipes are fantastic. I am sure I will revisit this resource over and over whether I am actually cooking or not. The recipes are clear and uncomplicated. I actually made the Mickey Sugar Cookies. They were delicious and a snap to make. Next on my list to make is Norwegian School Bread. The variety of recipes is terrific, too. Thank you to NetGalley and Adams Media for the opportunity to review this cookbook!

As someone who loves visiting the parks all the time but haven't been able to go since the pandemic started, I was so excited to see this book! This book has brought back some good memories and easy to make recipes from the parks. From making churros to making some of our favorite cookies, we have had a blast making them. We can't wait until we can actually go into the parks again but until then we will continue to bake and cook our own food at home. Thanks for such a great book!

Fantastic trip through Disney Parks via recipes for Disneyphiles who are missing their Park experiences. Perfect timing to be published during the Covid Pandemic so we can bring a taste of Disney into our home.

Each recipe has a tidbit about the park and are well presented and organized. They are easy recipes mostly snack foods. Spoiler, there's a recipe for a version of Dole Whip, that elusive bucket list dessert we all love.

This will make a great gift for anyone who loves Disney.

Every Disney fan needs to get a copy of this book, especially now that the California Disney parks are closed. A huge part of the Disney experience is getting everyone's favorite foods, and the author of this book understands that. There are so many things to choose that we frequently don't get to try them all. Now, the Unofficial Disney Parks Cookbook helps us to make these things at home!

This book is very inclusive, covering recipes from restaurants and different lands from all around the parks. It can't possibly include everything but does a really good ob of hitting the high points and the most popular items, including the Grey Stuff that was so trendy all over social media when it initially debuted.

Recipes are clear, instructions are easy to follow and photos help give the reader a positive visual experience. The chapters on equipment and gear are helpful to encourage even beginning cooks. My only beef is that there aren't photos for every recipe, but it may be that the hard copy version does have more photographs.

For those who read the book and are not frequent guests to any of the parks, they'll be treated to a brief overview of each area. As a California resident with only two WDW visits under my belt, I enjoyed reading about EPCOT, and I was happy to see so many Disney California Adventure recipes available, including the infamous corn dogs and beignets. Each recipe also includes a Did You Know? section, revealing a tip or piece of trivia that is fun to use in conversation, and some of them may surprise even those who think they know everything Disney.

I only have the digital copy of the book at this time, but I would purchase a hard copy to add to my cookbook collection. It's a gem for any Disney lover and worthy of prime real estate on my shelf and it would make a perfect Christmas gift for a foodie who is missing their Disney food fix.

I was considering this for a Christmas gift but its definitely an 'unofficial' Disney book with little of interest. The recipes are basic to the point of boring and/or gross (a recipe with hotdogs? A recipe for popcorn?). The author is a self-proclaimed expert on Disney - if she was a teen I would give her benefit but no adult can call themselves an expert with those recipes. The text and graphics aren't even pretty and the pictures are basic. Total pass on this book.
